21 lakh rupees according to me is not justified for this car because it is a 1.0 engine which produces 120 bhp. It is a good engine but for a price tag of 21 lakh it is underpowered, you can get a xuv 7xo ax7 for 22.8 lakh which produce 200bhp and 380 nm of torque that car is bigger in size, fun to drive and fast AF and with a lot of tech inside, creta turbo is a better option than this, so is the seltos turbo and the features in the taigun is nothing crazy all the cars in this segment provides these features like ventilated seats ,electric adjustable seats.

Best car and comfortable seat. The Volkswagen Taigun is a stylish, 5-star safety-rated compact SUV celebrated for its razor-sharp driving dynamics, high-speed stability, and solid German build quality. However, it has a stiffer suspension at low speeds and a narrower cabin than rivals like the Hyundai.

Done 116k km in my Taigun 1 lt Manual Topline. Cons of car -Changed my stock front two tires at 92k with Michelin tyres then done around 500 km and car started showing error in instrument cluster with all errors blinking. Car went to service center. And they check car and there are no issues. Finally i have to change all my 4 tires with Vredestein for my peace of mind. -Steering wheel started showing age Chrome on steering wheel started fading. -Cruise control button for -10 speed not working. -Economy overall is around 5 to 23 on your driving style. -Ventilated seats are bit too noisy. Overall a decent package of features and comfort in car Driving dynamics are good but not as good as Polo Gimic features are not there and also not needed. A understated No Nonsense German Car.

Fun to Drive, Solid on Highways. I recently drove the Volkswagen Taigun and honestly, the driving experience was really good. The first thing you notice is how stable the car feels, especially at higher speeds. It feels planted on the highway, and you don't get that nervous feeling when overtaking trucks or changing lanes. The steering feels nicely weighted, and the car responds well when you push the accelerator. The turbo petrol engine is quite fun to drive, especially on open roads. It feels like a car made for someone who actually enjoys driving rather than just travelling from one place to another. The suspension is slightly on the firmer side, so you do feel some bumps on bad roads, but the overall ride is comfortable enough. The seats are supportive, and the driving position gives you a good view of the road. The interiors could have been better for the price, especially in terms of some materials and fit and finish. Rear seat space is decent, but it's not the most spacious car in its segment. Also, if you're driving in heavy traffic regularly, the mileage might not impress you much. Overall, the Taigun feels solid, confident and genuinely enjoyable to drive. It's not perfect, but if driving pleasure, highway stability and engine performance matter more to you than having the most features, it's definitely worth considering. I'd recommend taking a proper test drive before making a decision.

The German experience for everyday driving. Among the compact SUVs available today, the Volkswagen Taigun can be considered one of the most interesting cars, combining superb performance, safety and premium quality. Its attractive design and good driving dynamics will attract any person right away, and a comfortable interior will provide all the necessary conveniences for daily and long-distance trips. Thanks to its powerful turbo-petrol engine, this car ensures impressive performance and stability while cruising highways. Precise steering gives additional pleasure from driving this vehicle, and good quality of construction adds to confidence in it. Another important feature of the car is excellent safety and a premium feeling inside its cabin with a high comfort level. The fuel consumption of this model is pretty satisfying for an SUV. There can be found only few disadvantages in the VW Taigun; first of all, there is not as much advanced equipment as in some competitor models, and the rear seats of the car might be slightly cramped for tall people. Also, the car suspension is tuned more for safety than for extremely soft rides. In spite of that, the positive qualities of the Volkswagen Taigun greatly overshadow its disadvantages. It is definitely one of the best compact SUVs today.

Volkswagen Taigun Review. The Volkswagen Taigun is a stylish and well-built compact SUV. Its exterior design looks premium and sporty, while the interior offers a clean and practical layout. One of the biggest highlights of the Taigun is its driving experience. The car feels stable at high speeds and offers good handling, which makes it enjoyable to drive. The engine performance is also good for both city driving and highways. The interior quality is decent, and the seats are comfortable for daily use. It also comes with useful features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, connected-car features, and safety features. However, the rear-seat space and some interior plastics could be better, and the maintenance cost may be higher compared with some competitors. Overall, the Volkswagen Taigun is a good option for someone who wants a stylish, safe, and fun-to-drive compact SUV with a European feel.

Bought Taigun GT 1.5L manual | 40,000km | 13 month | Performance : Good | service is average only not to the expected level | break pad changed at 30,000km. I had problem with the bucket seats, so I replaced all the seats. Other than that no issues I faced.

Obsessed !. The Volkswagen Taigun has been an absolute joy to own. From the moment I got behind the wheel, I could feel the premium German engineering that Volkswagen is known for. The driving experience is smooth, confident, and incredibly enjoyable, whether I’m navigating city traffic or cruising on the highway. What I love most about the Taigun is how it perfectly balances style, comfort, and performance. Its bold design turns heads wherever it goes, while the spacious and well-crafted interior makes every journey comfortable for both the driver and passengers. The seats are supportive, the cabin feels premium, and the attention to detail is impressive. The engine performance is responsive and refined, delivering plenty of power when needed while remaining fuel-efficient. Safety features provide peace of mind, and the solid build quality makes the car feel reassuringly robust on the road. Volkswagen has truly created a vehicle that brings a smile every time I drive it. The Taigun isn’t just a car—it’s a companion for everyday adventures, family trips, and memorable journeys. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, reliable, and fun-to-drive SUV.

Hello sir, Kindly bring the SWOT analysis. It's very much needed cause we want your opinion as well. Regarding the car, kudos to VW group in one department that they are listening to customers and working in the right direction (Variable Geometry AC). They are working on the Mechanicals too (8-speed TC), which is rare to find these days. But I still feel that the variable geometry AC should have been in the first place when these 2.0 cars were launched. Moreover, this car doesn't feel that premium when we talk of the Top Model Variants. They do have the practicality features which are there in the Global models like in the T-Cross where you can move the rear seats front and back like in the Kia Syros, which helps in the increasing the boot space as well. One last thing if they can bring is the boot plate which can be adjusted and it comes in line with the rear seats when folded, which is already given by VW in their global models. These are my suggestions to VW if they are listening, as their mechanicals and Driving dynamics are sorted. Once again Kudos to VW!!

Now Volkswagen Taigun got excellent stylish looks at front especially head lamp, front bonnet part and grille.. appealing looks. Rest all other things already excellent..as usual VW,/ skoda have.. whether engine, ride quality, suspension, power transmission..all fantastic. Only little negative side ..rear seats feels congested with 3 person, VW should increase its width to 1800 mm then it would be excellent among segment.

Got the Kushaq 1.5 TSI DCT back in January. It's been lovely, just about to cross 4000kms on the odo. Air con has its ups and downs but for the most of the part it works good. One thing I found most annoying is the seatbelt buckle positioning, my driver's side also seems to be a bit fidgety. I'm sure I can get that fixed at the service center. Another thing I believe it misses out on is the ability to change skins in the infotainment system. Been thinking of getting sun shades or some UV tint along with a dual trumpet horn since the one installed right now doesn't sound very german. Also, the gear shifting from 1st to 2nd makes a jittery sound and the gearbox seems to struggle at a lower speed mostly at a turn. Anyway, Great Video MotorInc!

Main discouraging items: poor aircon for India summers compared to Elevate or Creta, situation becomes worse as do there in Bonnet insulation making the engine heat directly hitting front seater. No 360 deg camera, no under-frame cover,

The point Karthikeya has raised about the seating comfort is actually spot on, the seats did feel exceptional in the Taigun, even for the middle seat of the 2nd row. What took me by surprise was the fact that, these seats were a touch more comfortable than the ones on the Elevate.

I own the GT variant of Taigun with ventilated seats. I do face the wireless car play issues mentioned. I also had the window auto up-down issue which was resolved with an update. The AC issue was also taken care of in the update. Performance is great with mileage between 8 to 12km/l. As far as value for money I got the ventilated seats with rear fog lights in the GT variant which were features I wanted so I am happy. I wish the wheels were 18 inches.
