7 year owner ship experience from 1st generation to this generation. This car holds it's different identity, this car vibrant so much when not moving and ac is working but when car is moving you will feel nothing, this car at high speed give confident of Stability, this car is best for any place [ city, village,Mountain] , this car ground clearance is so high that you can go from any road , but this car have many blind spot , this car tyres cost high, maintenance is also high, but thing i liked in this car from 1st generation to this generation is performance this never disappoint you in performance but consume fuel very high , this car tyres size good that sometimes when road is narrow and another car is coming i drive this car one side tyres is half on road and half on air , overall if your driving is more on bad road than you should consider this car but if your primary concern if mileage than it not for you

Looks, performance, safety.. The buying experience with the Tata Nexon was smooth. The dealership staff were helpful, explained the variants clearly, and the delivery process was hassle-free. Finance and documentation were handled quickly. Driving the Nexon daily has been enjoyable. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine offers good low-end torque for city traffic, and it feels stable on highways too. The suspension absorbs potholes well, which is great for Indian roads. Steering is light at low speeds and weights up nicely at higher speeds. Mileage averages around 14-16 kmpl in mixed conditions. Looks-wise, it stands out with its muscular stance, LED DRLs, and bold front grille. The cabin feels premium for the price, with good fit and finish, a responsive infotainment system, and comfortable seats for 4 adults. Safety is a major plus with its 5-star GNCAP rating. Servicing at Tata service centres is decent, but wait times can vary. Maintenance costs are reasonable if you follow the service schedule. Pros*: Safety, build quality, features, ride comfort. Cons*: Turbo lag at low RPM, infotainment can lag occasionally. Tip*: Keep tyre pressure checked monthly and use genuine parts.

Tata should improve.. Writing after 4 month and 10k km drive 1. Most problematic think is seat belt warning sound too much high, when 2 person sitting who going to get belt on back seat.. 2. Without fog lamp headlight are just waste on turning road 3. We take company fitted infotainment system and player but need to connect with data cable for Google map, better I have fitted outside china material 4. Mileage is ok but drop too much while in city or when road is not ok... Drop from 20 to direct 14-15.

Fuel Economy is Average. Tata Nexon is my FIRST Car and I have just crossed 4000km with my Nexon CNG, I'm loving every bit of the Journey!! Smooth Drive (Seamless Petrol to CNG Switch, Good Pickup), Premium SUV Feel, Spacious Boot Space are the key factors where whereas Fuel Economy is Average and not the best in this segment.

To the question why I am hesitant to switch to ev : To someone who has never been to service centre ( apart from sending the car for regular 10k km service) , I find it hard to convince myself buying something which had shown consistent niggles. Personally yet to see anybody who hasn't had zero problems with ev on higher mileage. Two of my friends had battery replaced, and both had many small issues leading to frequent service centre visits. My brezza diesel is economic to run, now at 1.3 L km in 8 years, and I get it serviced at a fng , with minimum service bills. Lot more change in quality and service from TATA is needed for me to switch to ev in the future.

I bought the Pure Plus 1.2 Petrol MT in Oct 2025 and have driven 4220 km so far. Few points I agree with: A-pillar blind spot is dangerous in city traffic, especially at night with window visors. I had to trim the driver-side visor for better visibility. Mileage: I got 21 kmpl initially by strictly following RPM/gear guidelines, but now max is around 17.8–18 kmpl. Best mileage comes at 80–85 kmph in Eco mode with smooth driving. Panel gaps are inconsistent, but I’ve seen this even in costlier brands. Nexon’s body sheet feels thicker and sturdier compared to others in the segment. I extensively reviewed the 3XO. Better performance, but I wasn’t convinced with the look & feel, suspension, ground clearance, and resale value. Skoda Kylaq’s 999cc turbo with German tech may perform well, but long-term reliability, wear & tear, service cost, and outdated design were concerns for me. Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Kia Sonet are not even close to Nexon in overall package.

Tata Nexon 6 KMPL mileage. I strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider before purchasing the Tata Nexon Smart Plus S petrol variant. My experience with this car has been extremely disappointing, both in terms of performance and after-sales service. The biggest issue is the mileage. In city driving conditions, I am getting barely 6 kmpl, which is completely unacceptable for a car in this segment. I drive mostly in regular city traffic, and even after following all recommended driving practices, the fuel efficiency has not improved. This is far below the mileage claimed by the company and much worse than what customers reasonably expect. What makes the situation worse is the response from Tata’s service team. I have raised multiple complaints regarding the poor mileage, but instead of providing a proper technical inspection or a clear resolution, the service staff consistently try to brush off the issue. Every visit ends with the same response: “Everything is normal, there is no problem with the car.” No concrete explanation, no corrective action, and no accountability.

Nexon Petrol vs Diesel: Which One Should You Buy?. Honestly, after driving the Tata Nexon, the first thing I noticed was its ride quality. Indian roads have plenty of potholes and bad patches, but the Nexon handles them really well. The suspension feels comfortable, and the car doesn't feel too bumpy. The pickup is also quite good, especially when you put it in Sport mode. The response becomes much quicker, and the car feels more fun to drive. Overtaking on highways is also quite confident. Another thing I really like about the Nexon is the safety and solid build. The car feels strong and gives you a good sense of security while driving. At higher speeds, it feels stable and planted, which is especially reassuring on highways. The steering and overall handling are also pretty confidence-inspiring. Even when the road isn't perfect, the car stays composed. One thing I didn't like – Petrol Mileage The main drawback for me is the petrol mileage. If your running is high, especially in city traffic or if you enjoy using Sport mode, fuel consumption can become a little expensive. So, if you are someone who drives a lot of kilometres every month, I would definitely suggest looking at the Nexon Diesel. The diesel makes more sense for high running because of its better fuel efficiency and strong torque. It's especially good if you do a lot of highway driving or long-distance trips. My Verdict Overall, I really like the Nexon. Comfortable ride, good pickup, Sport mode, solid build, safety and excellent stability — these are the things that make the car enjoyable to drive. If your running is low or moderate, petrol is absolutely fine. But if you drive a lot, go for the diesel. It will be a much more practical choice for your pocket in the long run. Overall, Nexon is a car that feels safe, comfortable and fun to drive — and that's what matters most to me.

Bought xza plus after meeting him and watching his video and also taken feedback from billlu biker. Drove 80K in 7 yrs, no problem till date and only regular service, no tyres change yet, highway mileage 25-27km and in city 19-20km, Nexon rocks, no rusting since I take care and get it washed only when needed with no hard water, no brakes and any part change yet. Only engine oil, coolant and filters at regular intervals

Experience with Tata Nexon. Overall, very nice experience with Tata Nexon pure plus, but not satisfied with the mileage it's giving 11.8 per km. Remaining feels excellent, I bought this car on 14 Jan 2026, then the mileage was 13.2, now decreased to 11.8 over the last two weeks. After the first service, the mileage fell down. Pure grey is an excellent its give a nice feel. Mileage required to be improved at least up to 15 in the city area.

Don’t let others confuse you I’m speaking from real experience. I own a Tata Nexon petrol and before this I had a Maruti Swift. The Swift was a great car excellent mileage and very low maintenance—but the Nexon offers something more meaningful performance combined with strong safety. When it comes to mileage the Nexon is no slouch either. On highways, you can comfortably achieve around 16–17 km/l with smooth driving. And if you look at the market trends, the Nexon has consistently been among the top-selling cars in recent months—feel free to check it yourself. With Tata, you get a premium feel a solid build, confident performance, and most importantly, safety you can trust. Maruti may give you better mileage and lower maintenance, but when it comes to build quality and road presence, the Nexon stands in a completely different league.

Tata nexon was a trust worthy and reliable. The Tata Nexon truly stands out as one of the most versatile compact SUVs in its segment. Having driven it extensively, here’s my take: 1. Driving Comfort & Handling The driving position is elevated, giving a commanding view of the road. The steering feels light in the city and weighs up nicely at higher speeds, making highway drives more confident. The suspension is well-tuned, absorbing potholes and rough patches with ease. 2. Engine Performance The Nexon comes with both petrol and diesel options, and both are responsive. The petrol is peppy and smooth for city rides, while the diesel delivers strong torque, perfect for highway cruising and long drives. The drive modes (Eco, City, Sport) genuinely make a difference – Sport mode especially brings out the best performance. 3. Safety & Stability One of the strongest points of the Nexon is its 5-star GNCAP safety rating. The car feels planted even at triple-digit speeds, with minimal body roll thanks to its solid build and stability control features. 4. Cabin Experience Inside, the cabin is premium with good quality materials. Seats are comfortable for long journeys, and the infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay works seamlessly. Rear passengers also get decent legroom and AC vents for comfort.

Low mileage, bad service and buying experience. Very bad buying and service experience. It is too bad experience. I sent at least 30 emails to Tata Customer Care, but no resolution from the Tata company. Everything they transfer to the dealer to resolve, and they simply convey to you by say this is what they can do.

My uncle bought a tata tiago in 2017 and in 2019 he sold it because of High maintenance and after 40k km, the instrument cluster Always show engine light even after leaving car for 1 month on service center they still didn't solved the issues after that be sold the car with disappointment because of resale value and also tata service centre staff is not as good and experienced in terms of Costomer and their interests. In 2020 he bought a hyundai I20 and he is very happy now, what i want to say that tata's Service cost and maintenance is higher compared to other companies like hyundai, suzuki and Honda they should focus on building reliable engine rather than launching new cars. Companies like toyota and suzuki has the most reliable and smooth engine in the market uptill now and now three more companies also Joined this list with Hyundai, Kia and mahinda i don't know about kia but Mahindra also have major reliability issues in electronic Components not in engine but i don't know their Maintenance cost because i own toyota Innova crsyta but j drove a XuV700 and that was the smoothest engine with low sound compared to my innova and also ignore my grammer and some English errors.
