Best suv. XUV is really good getting an mileage of 11.6 to 12 kmpl in city traffic and 13.5 kmpl in the highway. Good suspension ride quality only disadvantage i felt was service cost and maintenance is bit high and if there is any kind of sensor issues then it will be bit problem apart from that it’s an good SUV compared to Innova Crysta. Completed 3rd service and 20000 kms so it’s good SUV.

Bad Suspension and Mileage. I have been using the Mahindra XUV 7XO for the last 7–8 months. I was probably among the first customers to get delivery from my showroom because I had pre-booked it before Christmas. Overall, I like the car. The triple-screen setup is one of its best features. My daughter watches cartoons on the passenger screen without distracting me, while I use the driver's display and the centre screen for navigation. It works really well for family trips. However, there are two major issues that prospective buyers should know about: 1. Suspension: The \"Da Vinci\" suspension, which Mahindra heavily promotes, has been disappointing. The car tends to wobble over even small bumps on the road. Sometimes the car wobbles even when there is no visible bump. It affects ride confidence more than I expected. 2. Mileage: The fuel economy is poor in Bangalore traffic. I consistently get less than 5 km/l. I suspect it can drop below 3 km/l in heavy bumper-to-bumper traffic, but the car's displayed mileage never shows anything below 5 km/l. Apart from these two issues, I am generally satisfied with the vehicle. The triple-screen setup is genuinely useful for families, and I enjoy driving the car otherwise. If Mahindra could improve the suspension tuning and fuel efficiency, it would be an excellent family SUV.

Good vale car. Looks nice, but the old model looks more catchy, but the new suspension like something good that's not in last, but sometimes more in technical issues in new model due to many screens, and service centre ego itis all over in India, Mahindra could resolve it Asap

Fast and Furious. First Impressions and Design: The first thing that stood out to me was the design. It’s clean, not overly aggressive, and doesn’t try too hard to look premium—but still manages to feel well put together. The finishing is neat, panel gaps are consistent, and even after regular use, it holds up well without those annoying rattling sounds that you sometimes notice in this segment. Even small things like the placement of controls, the grip of switches, and the way everything is laid out—it just feels intuitive. You don’t have to “learn” the vehicle; it just comes naturally. Engine / Performance: Coming to performance, it’s not built for racing, but that’s not the point. The power delivery is smooth and predictable. In city traffic, it feels very comfortable. Acceleration is linear, and you don’t feel sudden jerks, which actually makes daily riding much more relaxed. On open roads, it can hold decent speeds without feeling stressed. It’s stable enough, and you don’t get that “light” feeling even when you push it a bit. Mileage (Fuel Efficiency): Mileage is honestly one of the biggest positives for me. In regular city usage, I’m getting pretty consistent numbers, which makes it very practical for daily commuting. City: Good and stable mileage. Highway: Slightly better if you maintain a steady speed. It’s not just about numbers—the real benefit is you don’t have to constantly think about fuel stops, which adds a lot of convenience. Comfort & Ride Quality. This is where the 7XO really shines. The seating is comfortable enough for long rides, and the cushioning doesn’t feel too soft or too hard—it’s balanced. Even after riding for longer durations, you don’t feel excessive fatigue. The suspension setup does a good job of handling bad roads. Speed breakers, potholes—most of them are absorbed well. Of course, really rough patches will still be felt, but that’s expected. Good posture while riding. Minimal strain on the back and shoulders. Suitable for both short and longer rides. Brakes & Safety: Braking performance is confidence-inspiring. The brakes respond well without being too sharp or too dull—it’s progressive, which is what you want in daily use. Even in sudden braking situations, the control feels stable. There’s no major wobbling or loss of balance, which gives you that extra confidence in traffic. Handling & Control: Handling is light and easy, especially in city conditions. You can manoeuvre through traffic without much effort, and U-turns or tight spaces don’t feel like a struggle. At the same time, it doesn’t feel too light, so at higher speeds, it still remains stable. Features & Practicality: What I appreciate most is that it focuses on useful features rather than unnecessary gimmicks. Everything you need is there Nothing feels overly complicated. Easy to use in daily life. Storage, usability, and overall practicality are well thought out. It’s clearly designed keeping real users in mind. Minor Downsides. To keep it real, there are a few small areas where improvement could help: Could use slightly better refinement in certain parts. A bit more premium feel in some components would elevate the experience. Not for someone looking for aggressive performance. But honestly, these are minor things and don’t affect everyday usage much. Final Verdict: After using the 7XO regularly, I can say this: it's not trying to impress you in one ride. Instead, it wins you over slowly with reliability, comfort, and practicality. It’s the kind of vehicle that fits into your daily life so smoothly that you stop thinking about it—and that’s actually a good thing. If I had to sum it up: It’s dependable, comfortable, efficient, and built with a clear purpose—not hype. And for daily use, that matters more than anything else.

How many kms have been run now? Planning to buy 2WD diesel manual. Any reliability issues or expenses? OR does that really be reliable like comparing to crysta? Mainly I wanted to keep it for 12-15 years for 2-3 lakh kms. Any issues that you had faced and can you list those even minor as well. I will get clarity whether to buy this OR crysta.

Harpreetsgarage, MaddyRider, Venaom's tech and many other youtube channels and 5 in my own personal circle I know who have faced massive manufacturing issues with their cars be it scorpio N or xuv or Thar and all top or second top models, and the pathetic response from dealership and service center. Mahindra doesn't treat their employees right nor their tech is reliable or advanced enough to be as reliable as other foreign brands be KIA or Volkswagen or Skoda. And then their service center is a nightmare as well.

Honestly speaking I also own a XUV 700 AX7L ( diesel ) and it’s 55,000 km driven. 1. The experience is very good 2. what stands out is just last week my brake pad were worn out and immediately I got call from Mahindra care that please take your car to nearest service centre. 3. I drove 10hrs in a single stretch and it was very comfortable 4. Never faced any problem with the sunroof/ handles 5. Earlier faced problems with the cruise system ( it’s not response sometime) and infotainment system 6. I have also drove it above 200 and the stability is very good. 7. It’s very comfortable for long routes 8. If you know how to drive then it’s very easy to drive through Gurugram jam in this car. 9. And on average include gurugram’s jam my car gives a mileage of 13 and on good days it’s 16 All in all it’s a very good car

Worst interior total touch based. The Mahindra XUV 7XO might look modern at first glance, but honestly, it's one of the worst-designed SUVs on the market right now. The exterior styling feels confused and awkward rather than stylish, with proportions that don’t quite work. Inside, the cabin tries too hard to be futuristic but ends up feeling cluttered and poorly thought out. The much-touted triple 12.3-inch touchscreen setup is overkill and detracts from usability; essential functions like climate controls being buried in touch menus is impractical and unsafe while driving. The interior quality doesn’t match the price point either. Cheap-looking plastic trims, mismatched colours, and a bizarre steering wheel design make the cabin feel less premium and more like a tech demo gone wrong. Touchscreens lag and the user interface is not intuitive, giving a frustrating experience rather than the seamless digital feel Mahindra promised. Overall, the 7XO tries to impress with screens and touch interfaces, but the poor design execution and lack of practical physical controls make it one of the worst interiors in its class.

I own XUV 700 AX7L, since the purchase, the car has been in service center every month on software related issues. The only fix they can provide is flash software update !!! They are not able to find root cause of software issue and nobody as any clue !!! No point launching next gen products when you don;t get your basics addressed. Wake up Mahindra !!!

7XO ON FIRE. The engine performance is strong, with smooth pickup and impressive power on highways. Overtaking is effortless, and the high-speed stability is excellent, giving a confident feel through the steering. In city traffic, it can feel a bit bulky at first, but you get used to it quickly. The interior is the biggest highlight—featuring a triple-screen setup, premium finish, and advanced tech that gives it a luxury-segment vibe. Features like ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and ADAS make long drives more comfortable and safe The suspension is well-balanced for Indian roads, handling bumps with ease. Braking feels solid and reliable. Mileage is average, but justified considering the performance. Overall, if you want a stylish, powerful, and feature-loaded SUV, this is a complete “value + luxury” package.

Very good looking car good to drive. The XUV7XO truly impressed me with how complete and premium it feels as an SUV. From the moment I experienced it, the first thing that stood out was the bold and modern design. It has a strong road presence, and the styling feels both sporty and sophisticated. The interior quality is excellent, with well-finished materials and a layout that feels intuitive and driver-focused. The seats are extremely comfortable, making long journeys feel effortless, and there is plenty of space for both passengers and luggage. What I really appreciated about the XUV7XO is how smooth and confident it feels on the road. The engine performance is refined and responsive, delivering power effortlessly while still feeling controlled and stable. The ride quality is impressive, absorbing bumps easily and providing a very comfortable driving experience even on uneven roads. The steering feels light yet precise, making city driving and highway cruising equally enjoyable. The technology and features are another strong highlight. The infotainment system is sharp, responsive, and packed with useful functions, while the digital displays add a very modern touch. Safety features are comprehensive and reassuring, giving a strong sense of confidence. Overall, the XUV7XO feels like a well-engineered, reliable, and premium SUV that offers outstanding value and an enjoyable driving experience.

Stylish, Comfortable and Fun to Drive. I purchased the Mahindra XUV 7XO recently and I’m very happy with the overall experience. The buying process was smooth and the dealership staff was helpful. The car looks very stylish and muscular on the road. The engine performance is excellent with smooth acceleration, and the ride quality is comfortable even on bad roads. The interiors feel premium with good space and modern features. Steering is light, handling is confident, and mileage is decent for city and highway driving. Overall, it’s a great value-for-money SUV with Mahindra’s reliability.

Excellent user review, thanks for your precise analysis of the car, I in fact short listed two cars, viz, Innova Crysta and Mahindra XUV700, that could suit my requirements and budget as well, in terms of long term reliability and consistency in all respects I would prefer to go for Crysta rather than XUV700, I am a subscriber and viewer of all Tamil car reviews, user review should also include both a quicker review of the car’s interior and exterior, the way the presentation of the video is very interesting, though it is a bit longer I could not stop it at any stage, I wish you success in your efforts to be one among the top car reviewers in Tamil language, good luck Bro

Actually this car is a worst car...am telling out of experience. At first I was very fond of this car xuv 700...after buying it it was good as said but after reaching 1 lakh km it started to trouble us more...had to do many repair works ....that costed me double the expense...which was a big problem so I bought a new car innova crysta...

I'm surprised you didn’t mention the suspension noise issue, which is a common problem with the XUV700. My AX7L Diesel AT has been to the service center seven times in the last six months, but Mahindra's response to my emails has not been helpful. Mahindra’s build quality has always been a concern. My car has a constant door rattling issue, and sometimes there’s a rattling noise from the steering side. This is not just my experience—our Scorpio N, bought on the same day, has similar issues. It seems to be a common problem in Mahindra cars. Mahindra also needs to improve its after-sales service. Compared to other well-known car brands in India, their service is very poor, making customers feel disappointed instead of satisfied.

Now xuv700 is completely reliable in terms of everything, because of feedbacks, and recent and upcoming slot's of xuv700 is completely reliable and not giving any issues., if talk about that roxx and scorpion so they both product are definitely doubtful, but xuv700 is definitely not anymore.
