I have two year old sonet automatic HTX model. Mileage is 20-21 on highway and 14-15 in city. All issues which he said, are mine issues as well. Car is stable, but on pot holes and speed breaker I have to slow it down else it makes a noise. Comfort is OK. Engine driveability is superb. But kia can't beat Tata is that sense.

Transmission , Clutch And Gear Issue. There is a major transmission issue. The car stops moving in traffic if it is kept in Drive mode, as the transmission overheats within 10 minutes and prompts you to stop the car on the side of the road. Additionally, after a few years of use, the clutch and gearbox become faulty. The body build quality is also not good, with regular wear and tear.

Just wanted to say about the E20 part, I am using a 2023 XL6 and I live in a highly humid region, I keep my full tank more than half filled all the time, and my primary use case is weekend travels to Home and back, and sometimes, using the car instead of bike, if it's really hot outside, or heavily raining, I clock atleast 20K Kms every year, I am using all premium E20 fuels like BP speed (90%), XP95, and HP (10%) of the time, with all this said, I am facing not a single issue with my engine, or fuel injectors, nothing whatsoever, expect I was getting about 16-17 KMPL in 2023 and now in 2026 it has significantly reuced to 14-15 KMPL. So I believe it matters where you are filling that E20 fuel. I try to use the pumps within 5 kms from my home, as they are smaller fish have reputation to maintain; big city fuel pumps might do adulteration to earn that extra profit. Adding to it, I have 2018 Verna Petrol Automatic; my younger sister is using it for daily runs, using the same fuel pumps and fuel type we are using; no issues whatsoever. Getting about 7-8 KMPL; pre-E20, it was about 9-10 KMPL.

I feel proud for going with MG Astor turbo Savvy 3 years back. On highway, I get 15-18kmpl on cruise control at 95kmph In city, in Bangalore traffic, I get 9.5kmpl (last 3 months) Feel good factor - Top class Super premium cabin. As good as Jeep Compass. Safety - Top class Service cost - 11K max (in 4th service) Service quality - top class 40k km done. No issues at all.

I have seltos petrol NA and I had similar experience, suspension could have been better as well as headlight also in the front arm rest there is part of fabric which got torned off randomly without anything Which is unlike maruti or hundai I also got problems in the rear power window switch, we have to press 10-20 times to close it And average is fine if you want to get average you have to drive very very balancely

EARLIER KIA SELTOS 1.4 DCT WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO DRIVE, FULL OF JERKS AND MISSES, SEVERE DCT ISSUES, ALTHOUGH CAR HAD BRILLIANT INTERIORS AND FEATURES. BARRING THE DCT ISSUE AND DRIVE, CAR WAS GOOD, SCARED TO BUY A KIA AGAIN. STILL WAITING FOR CRETA EV FACELIFT LAUNCH.

Despite being his first car, he's identified the issues correctly. Headlamps and ventilated seats are weak. Stereo and front/back seats are also mehhh. Also, its ben 4 months but Kia Connect is still not working. Nevertheless, Pranay should have done the interview with someone more seasoned with cars. I have GT line version & down payment of 2.5L was with Axis Magnum CC.

I thought I only faced this problem with shocker. Within 3 weeks of buying I had issues with rear shocker. The sound was constant. I took it to service center and they said the lubricant oil was leaking and for that the sound was coming. They told me they fixed it but again within a week the sound is coming again. This time I am going to tell them to replace with new one cause I really don't like to drive around with the sound.

thanks Pranay and Sudhansu, I have a Kia Seltos GTX A DCT and it's an amazing car! I've even convinced two of my friends to buy it as well. It offers a smooth ride and a premium, rich interior. I am 5'11", and while it's comfortable, I do feel the under-thigh support could be better. I was originally about to buy a Creta and then waited for the Tata Sierra. However, the Sierra had fit and finish issues, and the car wasn't even available for a test drive at my nearest showroom here in Mumbai. Meanwhile, my Kia dealer had all the models available to view. I think Tata makes great cars, but they always miss that last 5%. If they improve their quality control, fit, and finish, their cars could sell just as well as the Seltos or Creta.

New Seltos- Serious Reliability Issues. I excepted a smooth ownership experience with seltos but it has been opposite frequent visit and repeated service visits have caused inconvenience & frustration. Request Kia India to take seriously & provide permanent solution instead of temporary fixes & this level of unreliablity is completely unacceptable.

To any person who wish to install aftermarket lamps, please please go for foggy white light, that is 4300K light. I myself use the same in my car, and I believe it is the best set to purchase. Fog and rain visibility is okay, and the pitch black roads are clearly visible. Don't, just don't go for pure white, that is, 6000K lamps. You will regret in the long run.

You can say whatever you want. There’s simply no comparison between the HTX and the HTK(O) when it comes to cabin interiors. The HTX is better in every aspect. I compared the HTk(o) model speaker with the Boss speaker. For your information, at high volume the Boss speaker has a different level of enjoyment/sound quality. while reviewing the Seltos, why is there a need to keep mentioning the Sierra Sierra again and again? I've driven the Sierra, and to me it felt like an underpowered car. Out of all the problems you mentioned in the video, not even a single one applies to me. In terms of fittings and finishing, Tata can never compare with Kia. Kia is far, far better. I am giving this review after driving the car 8,000 km in 4 months, out of which 4,500 km was a long tour.

Bro, all major cars manufactured from 2024–25 onwards (Seltos, Creta, Curvv, etc.) are E20-compatible. In fact, this is usually mentioned on the fuel lid as well. Please don't spread misinformation that turbocharged engines won't run smoothly on E20 fuel. If the manufacturer has certified the vehicle for E20, it is designed to operate properly on it. You can continue using regular petrol without any additives. In fact, most manufacturers strongly discourage the use of fuel additives unless specifically recommended by them. I have a turbo engine car and there is no issue like that. Thanks

Best in segment?. My experience with the Kia Seltos has been absolutely fantastic so far, especially when it comes to mileage and long-distance driving. Since purchasing the car, I have completed four long road trips, 1st one covering around 1,800–1,900 km, along with another trip of approximately 500–600 km. Every journey has been a great experience, and the car has exceeded my expectations in terms of fuel efficiency. The mileage on expressways and highways has been particularly impressive. During my journey to Banaras, I even achieved an incredible 24 km/l, which was a pleasant surprise! On average, I get around 17–18 km/l with five people and luggage, and approximately 18–19 km/l with three to four people. These figures have made me genuinely appreciate the Seltos, especially for someone who enjoys frequent road trips. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the car's performance and fuel efficiency on long journeys. Based on my personal experience, the Kia Seltos offers a great combination of practicality and impressive highway mileage. I would definitely recommend the Kia Seltos to anyone looking for a reliable and fuel-efficient SUV in this segment. I booked clavis EV but the marketing team gave me incorrect timelines and after waiting for two months for Clavis EV and kept on stalling me, so I cancelled the booking and got Sierra EV empowered A which is was somehow with the dealer and that was the best decision I made. I was surprised to see how good Tata’s marketing team have become. I had a really bad experience with Kia and it’s been 10 days since I cancelled my booking and haven’t got the refund. The best thing about sierra is range, I managed to get around 560km range. Did a round trip from Ghaziabad to Vrindavan without charging. Features are also good and even the build quality is good along with great suspension. Let’s see how the first service is gonna be.. I had a really bad experience with Kia which I never expected as I already had multiple Hyundai cars in the past and had a great experience but not with Kia.. As far as fit and finish is concerned I had panel gaps in my 2020 1.4 Turbo sx option creta as well. I feel people have bias towards foreign brand and are over critical of Tata and Mahindra. I understand there might be some issues but it’s not that the other foreign brands are perfect…

I Own HTE O Diesel Automatic and driving it in Bangalore. Total Run 3500km Mileage in City- 10 ( Sometimes 8-9 on heavy traffic day,) but on Highway 24kmpl on 80kmph cruise speed At bit High speed Car feels bumpy on specific roads Breaking issues also I feel the same You need to press paddle more compared petrol DCT variant of the same car. NVH I don’t have as of now DPF issue- I Denver got any DPF issue

I have the same variant and i have not yet faced any suspension issues, maybe they pushed a defective product to you. Maybe the dealership pushed your new car through very rough rodes before the break in period, causing such issues, very common in many dealerships.

I have used for the past 3 months. The suspension is very good and no issues!

Change the tyres to Michelin or Continental. It will drastically change how you feel the car. All suspension problems will go away.

I bought htk(o) ivt automatic but I didn’t see any issues. So far so good, no complaints at all.

Getting DPF issues in KIA Diesel CARS -- Don't buy. Getting DPF issues in all KIA diesel cars, please don't buy Diesel CARs. Service centre team is saying, KIA diesel car is not suitable to drive in City conditions. i am getting DPF alert every 100-200 KM in city drive conditions. Getting issue from last one year, till now they did not fix the issue.
