I bought tvs Flame in 2009,had very bad experience, it was a good looking bike with poor engine, lot of engine trouble Full of vibration, heating problem, cold start problem, I sold this bike in 25%of it's original price in 6years Meanwhile, I bought my 2nd bike within 2 years, a suzuki GS 150 R, in 2011, it's still in 2026, runs like a beast, extremely reliable, refined, mileage and speed master,

Bad Build quality. TVS TFT SOFTWARE is the worst having many glitches. Personal experience after 2 months of usage. Bad: 1)Fuel doesn't show accurately - bad software 2) Navigation has issues - TVS connect app in the iphone generates always MAC error 3) Fuel tank is of fiber not metal. Also 4)FUEL tank from rain leaks or seeps inside slowly to the tank if you leave bike outside. I ignored this when people gave review and my fate. You have to use fuel tank bag compulsory. 5) Gear system has issues to move to first gear from 2nd gear or from. neutral. It sometimes goes to neutral. design is worst. unlike in Honda or Hero. 6) Back seat has lock but rain water seeps in if you place your. mobile or if you give for water wash. so be careful. 7) your handle and seat comfort is bad, you get back pain That's why Honda wins in the quality of software, gear shift, brakes, quality. Hero Xtreme is good but dual disc is expensive. but for that you go to cheap vehicle like TVS you face build quality issues and no peace of mind. Good: Brakes are good due to dual disk and front ABS. but if you use mostly use back wheel brake it is unstable so be careful. Conclusion: Just for ABS if you go to TVS Raider 125, then you will have hell on fuel meter, navigation through iphone, fuel tank opening has leakage from rain, Gear system gives you hell also gear doesn't show sometimes accurately due to lag in software

You are right about the reliability of tvs raider I have completed 16000km plus the gear indicator 90% false and the quality of parts are very bad after 1.5 year all company stickers are unstick plus firber quality are very bad that's why scratch are gather more and my clutch engine Start assembly are fail and service quality is worse in my city hero, honda, bajaj service are far better then tvs is very poor in terms of service in my opinion never buy any tvs product i regret why not buy sp 125.

Good response from the customer. I bough this TVS raider in Jan 2026. Till now, i did not face any issues with it. This costs around 1.25 Lakhs including EMI. This can be a good commuter bike in 125cc bike.....

TVS is very reliable in Bangalore atleast. I've not seen any issues from last 3 years. Service center is nearby and service charges are very less. Actually one of the most adorable one.

TVS Raider 125 in mint condition. Its a good reliable bike with good performance and great mileage. Best bike for daily commute. Recently installed new genuine TVS speedometer as my old speedometer was not.....

TVS Raider produce vibrations at higher speeds, especially above 70–80 km/h, which reduce comfort on long rides. Service experience can be inconsistent depending on the dealership. Some panels and plastic parts feel average in quality and may rattle over time. Lower variants get a drum rear brake and no ABS, so braking confidence is just okay. Gear ratios are short, leading to frequent shifting in traffic. There’s no kick start for backup. Minor electrical glitches, sensor or battery issues. With a pillion, ground clearance over big speed The engine is very bad, it broke at 16000. Most people have the same problem, after 10 to 12 thousand kilometers the engine starts making a lot of noise. It is good only in appearance but the engine is very bad. I would only say that no one should buy this bike, you can see other bikes in this segment.

Bhut jyada advance feature loaded bikes lena sabse badi murkhta hai jitni simple bike lo utna acha hai, jitni advance utni jyada mentinance, aur TVS ka to service issues sabse bade hain, inki service sabse gandi aur spare parts sabse jyada costly hai ..... TVS brand me to kabhi mat jao....

20 months bro i changed battery 2 times in one year and suddenly meter off oh gya tha and big problem there i well never suggestion in tvs i well say goodbye to tvs 🙏🙏 so much problems there in bike i cant say all problems in comment

Problems with TVS poor fitting quality panel gaps, bad service ,parts delay But TVs rtr technology is a indane beast and exhaust note is also good if you chose tvs for performance then go for it but didn't expect good mileage 😂
