Real Customer Honest Review Tested Drive 90000 Km. I got 21+ mileage on highway at 100 speed, total control even the speed at 198, I changed brake shoe at 90,000 km, very comfortable and reliable, very good support from workshops, showroom and company, no issue found with warranty on time, repair very genuine, spare parts, skilled mechanic in workshops and caring staff.
VW taigun. I have driven this car approximately 30,000 km in NCR. Only two works of their service are very bad. Spare parts are not easily available. Mileage in the city is 10 or 11 km/ litre, and on the highway is it approximate maximum 14 km/ litre Overall, the sitting capacity is good comfort, but at 18 or 19,00,000 spend, I should suggest you go for another brand SUV. VW Service is bad.
Disappointing VW Taigun. Got my VW Taigun 8 months ago and was expecting good experience from a german brand, I've driven 5500KW & to my surprise the brake pads are worn out. The service center tells me its because of bad driving, I have a Hundai I20 & a Suzuki swift and have never faced such problem. If my driving was bad it would have been on those vehicles also + in Bangalore city how bad can someone drive. We rearly get a chance to go beyond 50-60. Dissapointing.
im having Virtus GT TSI and driven 75,000 km i have never felt this issue but generally i too felt service centre guys lack adequate knowledge i had a electric seat problem till date after fighting with them for 6 months till date its not solved
Mere paas Highline Plus hai, 2025, MT, 1.0, 7000+ km driven, 1st annual service done with 4 year service package. Jitna bhi tumne share kiya, 1st and 2nd part k videos me, wo almost saare points maine experience kiya hai and you are almost almost right on your observations as well as experience. :) Regarding mileage/FE, it's a Turbo + SI (TSI) engine, to ye 5-6 ka bhi average deti aur 20-22 ka bhi deti hai. Personal experience bro. :)

Very correctly said, any problems you report total escapism. I was having SKODA RAPID DIESEL, used for 7 years ( very less driven car only 22000 kms done) sold only for service related issues. Complaint redressal is very bad, very closed organisation ( not open - hate talking to customers)
My NIGHTMARE With The Taigun. Taigun is my 3rd vehicle from VW after a Vento and Polo. I have driven 70K plus KM in the earlier two models and 20K miles in Taigun. I love VW so much that I decided not to dispose the Vento and Polo and i'm still using all three. Cospared to the experience I had with the other two modelse Taigun has not lived up to it. Main reasons being. 1. Low torque or pulling power compared even to Polo. 2. Very low mileage in city. 10 km if trafgic free & 6 to 7 km in case of traffic. 3. My Taigun has just completed 1 year and touching 20 K kilometers. Two days back while driving in the city suddenly the clutch failed in the middle of morning traffic. Expereiencing such failure within one year and less than 20K km is a nightmare. My love for VW has taken a beating. Understand that there have been many complaints of clutch failure in Taigun.
I could purchased it but cost of spares is too high. I having alto 800 (12.5 years) and wagon r (13.5 years) but never need to replace injectors in any of these cars. In fact, In wagon R suspensions are stock. In alto, which covered 1,60,000 km, one time cluch replacement (Rs 12K) and front both side suspension replacement (Rs 5K for both, that too done by third party with original parts I think a skhoda, VW car in average will have a maintance + parts replacement cost of Rs 50K per year kyunki kuch parts replacement honge and that too very very expensive. And buddy believe me my last alto service cost was Rs 5K
Bro i'm using GT Plus 1.5 DSG variant from 2 yrs and 40K kms on the ODO. I too faced minor mechanical issues. 1.Try Lubricating your doors once by 3M tape on the sides of the door which might reduce the noise in bad patches 2.If there is a real issue in steering then replace the steering column rack which will be under warranty 3.Lubricate Brake caliper atleast 5K Kms once. (While you take a long turn and you get noise from brakes) Regarding the suspension set up, it is what it is, being a GT variant the set up will be slightly harder than in the 1 litre variants Apart from the mentioned minor mechanical issues car is a gem. May be you got to understand it better and show some love. I was using Polo for 10 yrs before switching to Taigun GT
Completely wrong and rubbish Analysis misleading the people. Engine noise, expensive parts, never ending rattling sounds of different parts, body sounds, poor quality AC cooling, higher costly maintenance and above all very unreliable vehicle are some of the issues I have mentioned here after using this car 2 yrs. Such kinds of people makes the video to mislead the people for sponsoring the company, they have nothing to do with the reality
AC can be improved via coding.. Injectors are covered under warranty.. You can buy extended warranty.. German cars gives better highway performance and hence parts are still expensive.. If only city usage and mileage then diesel is not good unless DPF regen doesn't happen it will be chocked please do reasearch on this before buying XUV300 diesel.. Watch Mukesh chandra gond and Volksclub videos on diesel before buying
Thats way I still love my VW Vento TDI DSG 1.5L City mileage 14-15 kmpl and Highway 24-28 kmpl. Both milage figures are with AC 23C. And this will be my last VW car as new petrol models are makes no sense with low mileage and higher parts price.
Bought Taigun GT 1.5L manual | 40,000km | 13 month | Performance : Good | service is average only not to the expected level | break pad changed at 30,000km. I had problem with the bucket seats, so I replaced all the seats. Other than that no issues I faced.

Exterior is nice and Interior. Ok, the good price is very high as compared to other variants, and features are better and mileage is not satisfactory in my opinion and more important things are after-sales service and spare parts.
I met this guy(who owns this car) 3months before in Kun Ambattur service center he talk to me about this issue and I also own VW taigun I don’t have any complaints on handling or performance, naturally this vehicle is stiff/hard suspension but this guy downgrading the VW due to this issue. I also recommend him soft Tyre change like Michelin or conti and also damping to reduce noise. But one thing old imported VW quality is not there in interior but i don’t see no issues, usually the steering in this model have little click sound or mild shake since this automatically adjust stiffness while driving in speed or slow.. I also bought in mount road Sundram and now servicing in ambatuur
User is saying about site visit, how is the road conditions to it, buy a car according to the place of usage, for bad roads, if you have chose VW, not sure if that's a good idea. I had some vibration in steering column in Virtus, not sure it's ok now after service, every review they have mentioned, car has stiffer suspension which is good for long drive, high speed stability, you have not done any long drive in this car, Bro. Check it first. If you don't do long drives, not sure why you chose VW, My Virtus Top end has mixed driving of good and bad roads, 21K km done in 1 year, Nice Car to drive. I don't regret buying VW bro.
I purchased the same GT Plus Sport Black in September 2024. Have driven 10,000+ Kms. I haven't faced any such operational issues, however, I'm not able to wireless charge my iPhone 16 pro, and service manager says the charging pad might not support new mobile models.
Lol, I’m using Tat Nexon for last 2 years. So for I’ve got 0 issues and best in class service from Gokuldam motors Kattupakkam. It’s not the vehicle or the manufacturer but the service personnel. Problem is engineers with 0 knowledge is being employed which form a domino effect.
What he says is 100% true. One of the worst car that I ever owned in my lifetime. I faced lot of issues related to ergonomic, sensors, engine performance and suspension. Whatever issues you raise with service centre they simply say it exists in all cars and escape the situation. Technicians are the worst who doesn't know how to analyze an issue or to give a solution. I sold the car within 8 months of purchase with heavy loss. Never ever choose VW or SKODA now a days. It's purely a scam. Not worth the money we spend. It doesn't give pleasure rather it gives lot of stress after owning it.
I bought last year taigun GT DSG.... Service is worst (tried 2 service center)but these youtubers has given too much footage to these VW cars...new cars are not worth ,thier interior & exterior & features not at all worth as compare to vento or polo & other brands...You are paying only for engine and dsg & they are not reliable for long run....Having said that there is no complete car in 20 lakhs in india but for long run..buy Merz or BMW if u want German car who's atleast quality & service is good or buy other cars in same price range which offer lot...& Its not at all family car as compare to other in price point... JUST DONT TAKE HEADACHE FOR LONG RUN FOR SHORTER DRIVE PLEASURE...In India you still need road, and good quaility & service from VW.....or buy 2nd vento or polo with good condition

If it was bad driving, it should have been on those vehicles also + How badly can one drive in Bangalore city, where you rarely go above 50-60KM speed!! Disappointing
