Nexon Ownership Review after 20000kms. After 20,000 km with my Tata Nexon, the ownership experience has been quite satisfying. The car offers great comfort, solid build quality, confident highway performance, and good ride quality. Maintenance has been manageable, and overall, the Nexon continues to feel reliable and practical for daily drives and long trips.

This car holds it's different identity, this car vibrant so much when not moving and ac is working but when car is moving you will feel nothing, this car at high speed give confident of Stability, this car is best for any place [ city, village,Mountain] , this car ground clearance is so high that you can go from any road , but this car have many blind spot , this car tyres cost high, maintenance is also high, but thing i liked in this car from 1st generation to this generation is performance this never disappoint you in performance but consume fuel very high , this car tyres size good that sometimes when road is narrow and another car is coming i drive this car one side tyres is half on road and half on air , overall if your driving is more on bad road than you should consider this car but if your primary concern if mileage than it not for you

This diesel jet, Value for money... I purchased my car 1 year ago. I drove it 6800 kms. My car is a diesel manual. It's so nice to drive, it's very powerful and for long drives and city rides very good car. But a problem I faced is that the car is so big that I cannot go through small roads, etc. I suggest taking a diesel manual transmission. It's really good value for money.

Tata Nexon - A comfortable companion.. I've put the Tata Nexon through its paces with two highway trips of nearly 300km each and tossed it around 50km in city traffic. Mileage-wise, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. On open highways, the Nexon impressed me with a solid ~19 km/l, but drop into city chaos and it sipped fuel at 12-13 km/l. Totally expected, but worth noting if you're city-bound often. Comfort's where the Nexon shines. The ride's plush, swallowing potholes and bumps like a pro, and the backseat's got heaps of space – perfect for squished families or buddy-filled outings. You’ll feel at home. The engine's another story when you push it hard; it gets a bit gruff and unrefined, reminding you it's doing its best. But ease off the pedal, drive smooth, and it transforms into an easy, stress-free cruiser. All in all, the Nexon’s a practical, spacious daily driver that kills it on highways and copes decently with city madness. If you value comfort, space, and safety (that 5-star NCAP rating’s a big win), and don’t mind the engine’s mood swings, the Nexon’s a solid pick.

Excellent and Safe car. This is safe car and Tata reliability. Good for family and daily updown. average in diesel 24 to 26 on highway. But in city bumper to bumper traffic only 10to 12 kmpl. Suspension is good. Sufficient for 5 person seating capicity.Leg space and thigh support better. Bootspace awesome. Some problems are place in city driving, but Highway performance is very good.

Looks, performance, safety.. The buying experience with the Tata Nexon was smooth. The dealership staff were helpful, explained the variants clearly, and the delivery process was hassle-free. Finance and documentation were handled quickly. Driving the Nexon daily has been enjoyable. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine offers good low-end torque for city traffic, and it feels stable on highways too. The suspension absorbs potholes well, which is great for Indian roads. Steering is light at low speeds and weights up nicely at higher speeds. Mileage averages around 14-16 kmpl in mixed conditions. Looks-wise, it stands out with its muscular stance, LED DRLs, and bold front grille. The cabin feels premium for the price, with good fit and finish, a responsive infotainment system, and comfortable seats for 4 adults. Safety is a major plus with its 5-star GNCAP rating. Servicing at Tata service centres is decent, but wait times can vary. Maintenance costs are reasonable if you follow the service schedule. Pros*: Safety, build quality, features, ride comfort. Cons*: Turbo lag at low RPM, infotainment can lag occasionally. Tip*: Keep tyre pressure checked monthly and use genuine parts.

Nexon Pure Plus (S) petrol worst buying experience. I bought a Tata Nexon Pure Plus (S) in May'25, which was the worst decision of my life. It started creating problems since starting, like the electronic system is not good of all Tata cars and noise from the front steering rack. I visited many times Tata service centre within 3 months of buying the car, and the issue has not been fixed yet. After the service of Tata is so pathetic, whereas I had never faced any issues with my previous car Hyundai. People should never go by the 5star ratings because safety is concern but no one buy the new car to visit frequently in service centre to get the issue fixed. So choose the reliable brand and enjoy your driving experience with the car.

Middle class choice. I have purchased Tata Nexon Pure Plus S variant in August. As of now, I have ride 5000 kms. My previous one is Tata Tigor. Now, Tata has improved a lot. Noise level has been reduced by a lot. Building quality is awesome. Features, comfort, and ride quality are excellent. Daily, I am travelling 80 km in heavy traffic. Got mileage of 14 to 15. Tata safety, everyone knows. I have a small issue. Gear shifting, especially to 6th gear and reverse gear, I have a problem. I heard a crank Noise. During the 1st Service in have informed to the team. Still not yet resolved. Vehicle quality is good but Tata has to improve its Service to withstand in cutthroat competition.

The best car for handling. In addition to Gold standard safety, it gives you A Confident Drive on all terrains at all speeds. Drove it for more than 1L kms. Cons: 1. After-sales workshop service is poor(unwanted work recommendations at workshops, so be a vigilant and adhere to servicing items as per 'User Manual' provided with the car 2. Don't go for unnecessary works at minor service schedules and stick up to 'User Manual' only, otherwise workshop will empty your pocket with unnecessary recommendations.

I bought the Pure Plus 1.2 Petrol MT in Oct 2025 and have driven 4220 km so far. Few points I agree with: A-pillar blind spot is dangerous in city traffic, especially at night with window visors. I had to trim the driver-side visor for better visibility. Mileage: I got 21 kmpl initially by strictly following RPM/gear guidelines, but now max is around 17.8–18 kmpl. Best mileage comes at 80–85 kmph in Eco mode with smooth driving. Panel gaps are inconsistent, but I’ve seen this even in costlier brands. Nexon’s body sheet feels thicker and sturdier compared to others in the segment. I extensively reviewed the 3XO. Better performance, but I wasn’t convinced with the look & feel, suspension, ground clearance, and resale value. Skoda Kylaq’s 999cc turbo with German tech may perform well, but long-term reliability, wear & tear, service cost, and outdated design were concerns for me. Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Kia Sonet are not even close to Nexon in overall package.

Driving experience is very good stability. The buying experience is excellent, and I experienced this during the demo. Driving experience is very good stability, handling on highway and city rides, with better suspension response. Looks are very futuristic, and pickup is outstanding, and pulling capacity and rolling are very high. Service and maintenance costs are normal as like other car companies. Pros are a good 5-star safety rating and a very advanced feature in this segment. Tata may be able to improve some glitches in the Software and MID as screen blackout and proper mileage showing, and sometimes come clutch sound during gear shifting in the cabin.

Nexon Petrol vs Diesel: Which One Should You Buy?. Honestly, after driving the Tata Nexon, the first thing I noticed was its ride quality. Indian roads have plenty of potholes and bad patches, but the Nexon handles them really well. The suspension feels comfortable, and the car doesn't feel too bumpy. The pickup is also quite good, especially when you put it in Sport mode. The response becomes much quicker, and the car feels more fun to drive. Overtaking on highways is also quite confident. Another thing I really like about the Nexon is the safety and solid build. The car feels strong and gives you a good sense of security while driving. At higher speeds, it feels stable and planted, which is especially reassuring on highways. The steering and overall handling are also pretty confidence-inspiring. Even when the road isn't perfect, the car stays composed. One thing I didn't like – Petrol Mileage The main drawback for me is the petrol mileage. If your running is high, especially in city traffic or if you enjoy using Sport mode, fuel consumption can become a little expensive. So, if you are someone who drives a lot of kilometres every month, I would definitely suggest looking at the Nexon Diesel. The diesel makes more sense for high running because of its better fuel efficiency and strong torque. It's especially good if you do a lot of highway driving or long-distance trips. My Verdict Overall, I really like the Nexon. Comfortable ride, good pickup, Sport mode, solid build, safety and excellent stability — these are the things that make the car enjoyable to drive. If your running is low or moderate, petrol is absolutely fine. But if you drive a lot, go for the diesel. It will be a much more practical choice for your pocket in the long run. Overall, Nexon is a car that feels safe, comfortable and fun to drive — and that's what matters most to me.

Tata Nexon, the best choice for Indian roads. Who doesn't like the Tata Nexon, I mean one of the best in its segment with the best riding, handling and with the diesel manual. It has great performance and long run reliability, the sharp front look's with the led DRL, to the hidden wiper in the rear is truely a clever engineering, the best part i love the most in the Tata Nexon is the 9 speaker JBL branded music system which many people don't know that it comes with manual top trim variants, coming to the cons it has very less of it because now Tata has clearely improved a lot compared to older models, I have to say the rear seat in the Tata Nexon is not the best in segment and is best for 2 adults, 3 adults feels a bit tight and the bump in leg room is little on higher side, the touch screen infotainment quality is one of the best but needs software improvements and fixes.

Car with a excellent ride quality. Bought my Tata Nexon, Smart, a month ago, It's the first time that I'm bought a Tata Car, although I've driven the Old Nexon, and felt dissatisfied at a few points, but this has been a major update in it's face-lift, that it allured me to buy it. Buying Experience from the showroom was great, the salesmen handled every task precisely, I appreciate that. The exterior looks awesome, and the front grill with the led-DRLs looks like a Head-Turner on the Urban Road, it's just, that I don't like the rear look much of it, but still, A Beast Is A Beast! The interior has been redesigned and looks Top-notch! With the new 2-spoke steering wheel and new Bang-On Tech features, it makes it distinctive from other SUVs. My First time driving experience with my New Tata Nexon was excellent the ride quality was superb and the suspension setup in the new Nexon is way much improved than the Old one, ( which is good for Indian Roads ). Fuel Economy is still an issue in Tata cars, Gives a mileage of 18-19 in city drive, which is quite plausible, and 22-25 on highways. I've seen the Diesel motor could be refined even more, Just to avoid some external Noise from the car while driving. The speed is stable on highways, strong mid-range drives, I like how the gearbox works on my driving, quite swift and flexible. Haven't experienced any regrets from the car yet, it is good after driving about 660kms with it. Happy with the vehicle stance on the road, and especially Tata's Assured 5-star Safety. Overall it is a good car, priced within a normal budget, Futuristic, Fantastic, Polarisation Vehicle. Would assure you to try once, before going over other Compact SUVs.

First Indian Five Star Car. Really good interiors and feel of drive is good as well, with surprisingly good AC. Car is too good in driving and overall performance with this car is very nice, safety is also top notch feature and styling also very awesome main thing is this car comes with 360 camera which helps us too much to park in tight areas. Especially at low speeds. It excels in handling and ride comfort, absorbing road imperfections well, though it may have noticeable body roll in corners

Sleek, Stealthy, and Ready for the Road. The Tata Nexon Dark Edition isn't just a car; it’s a design statement. From the moment you see that deep, \"Atlas Black\" finish paired with the darkened 16-inch alloys, it’s clear this SUV is built for those who prefer a more aggressive, sophisticated presence on the road. The \"Dark\" badge on the fender adds a subtle touch of exclusivity that sets it apart from the standard lineup. Step inside, and the theme continues with a premium, all-black interior. The dark upholstery and tri-arrow perforations give the cabin a modern, sporty feel that is much easier to maintain than lighter alternatives. Despite the dark tones, the cabin feels spacious, and the ergonomics remain top-notch. Performance-wise, the Nexon continues to impress with its solid build quality and a 5-star safety rating that provides immense peace of mind. The engine is punchy enough for highway cruises, while the light steering makes city manoeuvres effortless. The infotainment system is crisp, and the ventilated seats are a blessing in warmer climates. If you are looking for a compact SUV that balances unmatched safety with a head-turning, \"murdered-out\" aesthetic, the Nexon Dark Edition remains the gold standard in its segment.

I have Tata NEXON 5 years completed petrol 1.2. Very very rough car. I am a fan of Tata now specially for NEXON . I drive in hilly areas although the average is poor I get the feel to drive it. In bad roads I don’t care and just jump in and NEXON handles it very well. I overtake people in hilly areas specially Scorpio owners 😂 because they are unstable. Although I am a Scorpio lover and I too have it in the family. But NEXON is just NEXON . I feel very safe and I just love the turbo kick in of the NEXON. #tata#nexon. Jai Bharat Jai Hind

Tata nexon was a trust worthy and reliable. The Tata Nexon truly stands out as one of the most versatile compact SUVs in its segment. Having driven it extensively, here’s my take: 1. Driving Comfort & Handling The driving position is elevated, giving a commanding view of the road. The steering feels light in the city and weighs up nicely at higher speeds, making highway drives more confident. The suspension is well-tuned, absorbing potholes and rough patches with ease. 2. Engine Performance The Nexon comes with both petrol and diesel options, and both are responsive. The petrol is peppy and smooth for city rides, while the diesel delivers strong torque, perfect for highway cruising and long drives. The drive modes (Eco, City, Sport) genuinely make a difference – Sport mode especially brings out the best performance. 3. Safety & Stability One of the strongest points of the Nexon is its 5-star GNCAP safety rating. The car feels planted even at triple-digit speeds, with minimal body roll thanks to its solid build and stability control features. 4. Cabin Experience Inside, the cabin is premium with good quality materials. Seats are comfortable for long journeys, and the infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay works seamlessly. Rear passengers also get decent legroom and AC vents for comfort.

I think a manual hand brake is better than an electronic one any day anytime and being a Nexon owner they should have given the option for a lighter colour interior trim and not restrict it a all black interior which makes the car look and feel claustrophobic and also the touch panel ac controls are hard to use without looking at the panel this could have been fixed with simple button controls given to them. And also Tata should really give the Nexon better engine options like a 1.2L NA 4 cyl engine option, hybrid drivetrain, and also may be a 8 spd TC gearbox for the car because the 7 SPD DCT is prone to failures. Rest of the car is great, it feels solid, fun to drive, handles really well, it's comfortable, has ventilated seats in the front which really help in driving comfortably for long hours, and 360 degree camera quality is too good, the rare seats experience could be improved by giving rare seats ventilation, a rear roof light, and a headrest for the centre passenger as well. Overall it's a good car but can be made better.
