how is the steering weight on ur honda city? i bought a used hondad city 2015 cvt model about 3 years ago used, and I always have felt like the steering feels too heavy for me. I even got the steering rack changed but it is still the same. Tried another car of same model at service center and the steering was so much more lighter! The mechanics at the service center also cant seem to figure out what the issue is because there are no warning lights as well

Bro i own Polo 1.2 MPi and never in my life since 2011 i got a single issue from it, no parts changes and only timely service done, i have done 88k km on it and engine is real gem for a MPI, after 2500 rpm it just goes and goes up till 5500 rpm On Paper its 75hp but i have dragged with Baleno petrol (which 88hp) and it lost to my car real bad Point is, VW cars aren't bad to maintainance atleast not in my experience. Also cabin real silent 😊

Notchy gear problem is there even in my Dad's 2019 BRV petrol which has same 1.5 ivtec engine but a different gearbox with 6 forward gears. I thought that the problem was due to replacement of clutch plate in non Honda service center. But the garage owner himself has a petrol WRV and maintains it in his own supervision. Now I know the problem is universal and not with the clutchplate. It has clocked 112000 km. When we changed the clutch plate, the odometer reading was 102000 km.

I have cvt city zx bhai best hai car 👌👌 50000 km done koi problem nhi ayi abi tk…now i upgrade tyres 195/55/16 fir aur v mast chlegi…German card se toh achi hai no worry about maintenance services…koi mukabla he nhi iss segments mein city zx ka…akh band krke buy krlo ✔️

I was sold a Hyundai Verna from Malik motors, secunderabad. They sold me a test drive vehicle and it had a small accident also. All were repaired and tr was obtained before pdi itself! Literally they force sold me the vehicle! It had some mechanical issues within a month and nothing could solve it! I had to sell the car after a year! Never accept a vehicle without pdi!

i recently travelled to Raipur for holidays.google suggested different route on return day as i had to one temple at Raigad.this route was mines area full of craters not potholes.had i purchased City instead of Ecosport total vehicle would hv got damaged or stuck in craters..even though its not SUV it managed well as whole day it was raining..totally stable at high speed in rains.Higher ground clearance is need of time not just for show off. unless your ride is only city or god highway dont consider sedans or hatchback. i only see negatives in this car. 1.low ground clearance. 2.high cost of spares and servicing. 3.spares not available outside means you are at mercy of service center diktats. 4.risk of shutting shop anytime 5.Much better SUVs available at same price. im not even questioning quality of engine but sorry SUVs are more practical till roads become better in tier 2-3 cities.

As per official Honda press release all engines since 2009 are E20 compatible but my personal experience since last couple if months is that there is 20% drop in fuel economy.. Engine parts will not suffer because of E20 compatibility but there is considerable drop in average.. I own 2015 SV CVT..

You are right, this car spoils your chance of upgrade pretty much. I have done 2.75 lakhs kms in my 2014 Honda city diesel and the car still returns 21+ kmpl on the highway. Comfort, drive quality, safety, space everything makes this car a GOAT. I don’t get all these in a single package at anything close to this price point. Honda did a great disservice by discontinuing the city diesel. If this engine was offered in the elevate that would have been a possible segment leader. Honda neither introduced the diesel nor its much superior hybrid in elevate. I always wondered what were they smoking, off late at Honda India.

Honda engines are top notch, the reliability and the inexpensive servicing makes it great. And the comfort the cars provides is cherry on top. My Father bought Amaze in 2015 and it still feels new whenever I drive, even now when someone else drives the car they really appreciates the engine performance and smoothness in gear shifting and couldn't believe it is 9 yr old car

Really good review dear with so much prctical aspects.❤ I have amaze manual petrol and grand i10 sportz and I have owned Toyota camry 2.4 CVT and handa jazz 1.5CVT overseas and honda,s driving pleasure with honda manual and CVT both and maintenance andcservice cost is too very less.Trying to buy Honda city CVT in Jaipur may be this year or next year.Hybrid is bit too much cost for average city driving of 30 t0 40 k.m.per day and occassional highway driving.❤

For me if u want low maintenance and reliability then go with honda but if u want power then go with vw also the service center. It's not like that vw has bad service exp but often u have to visit it 😂

As a City CVT owner, city avg 9-12kmpl and its throttle is good in city driving but that acceleration is not as responsive because of CVT rubber band effect. The car is built to last and everything in it makes sense, if anyone is planning to buy I would recommend to just get the tyres swapped with 205/55 R16 the moment you buy it, and a good set of hella horns. Highway mileage is 18-20 kmpl and once you are in the rev range the acceleration is quite good. Service is not expensive either.

I heard from veh mechanics about rusting issues in hobda cars.. what about the latest models...and also when there are 5 people in the xar with luggage does it hit the speed breakers like it used to in previous honda cars

Agreed the service interval is 15k kms but the parts are so expensive..its equals 2 years of hyundai service cost.

I own 3rd Gen Manual, 5th Gen ZX CVT. honestly, 3rd is better than 5th Gen in the stability because of low ground clearance. I have covered 1.65L km in 3rd Gen and 17k+ in 5th Gen. Comfort - Both are good Space - 5th Gen little more Engine - As usual honda petrol ivtec Service Cost - Affordable Infotainment, touchscreen - old school The biggest drawback - no volume knob in 5th gen [ Honda guys are some nonsense, in this case ] The noise with a dashboard of the 5th, I am also getting. but it has no solution. I have taken honda guys around 100km but they are not ready to do anything, they did something but no use. because they themselves don't know anything. It is not occurring all the time, in some cases, it occurs. Now I started ignoring this. because no other option🤣 Honda should really concentrate on these noise issues because nowadays honda is getting really bad reviews from the customers which has not happened with the previous version like 1,2,3,4 Generation of the city. Apart from this City is a City always. Cool.

I have been using Honda City 2011 from last 3 years , drove around 40000 kms, no problem with car , maintenance also not costly . If 5 people are in car you have to be careful while driving on speed breakers, put it down to 1st gear and cross the speed breaker in angle. Otherwise it will scrape the bottom of car . Safety and handling is good, I recomm nd this car if you have budget below 5 lakhs and needs a big car. Be careful when buying from dealers they are resetting odometer and selling it, this car engine runs upto 300000 with out any issues.

No doubt, 15000 KM se pehle Sokda/VW service center me jana ni parta, beczz bahot exceptional case me hi jana parta hai, quality me Skoda/VW top notch hai😊

8 years with my white City and ZERO issues till date, just basic service. It's really a fill it-shut it-forget it car. 8 years on and the iVtec engine is still super smooth, refined and the gearbox is precise. The driving dynamics are excellent and don't get me started on those gorgeous looks!

I bought a month ago I too have the same problem in the gearbox and the dealer said it’s a nature of 4G manufacturing but he said will lubricate I need to check the difference. B’coz just completed first service. Tyre size yeah I too feel that it’s not fair which Honda provides but no other option.

BRO KINDLY tell more about tinted glasses that u have done its cost what are they like filming, spraying or completely glass change? Honda and many brands except Toyota and Maruti provide transparent glasses which ruins the look and creates problems in sun.

Honda City Owner would never buy a Harrier, right now Tata's and Mahindra's are owned by Goons, so no point standing in queue when going for regular service intervals.
