Looks, performance, safety.. The buying experience with the Tata Nexon was smooth. The dealership staff were helpful, explained the variants clearly, and the delivery process was hassle-free. Finance and documentation were handled quickly. Driving the Nexon daily has been enjoyable. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine offers good low-end torque for city traffic, and it feels stable on highways too. The suspension absorbs potholes well, which is great for Indian roads. Steering is light at low speeds and weights up nicely at higher speeds. Mileage averages around 14-16 kmpl in mixed conditions. Looks-wise, it stands out with its muscular stance, LED DRLs, and bold front grille. The cabin feels premium for the price, with good fit and finish, a responsive infotainment system, and comfortable seats for 4 adults. Safety is a major plus with its 5-star GNCAP rating. Nexon Petrol vs Diesel: Which One Should You Buy?. Honestly, after driving the Tata Nexon, the first thing I noticed was its ride quality. Indian roads have plenty of potholes and bad patches, but the Nexon handles them really well. The suspension feels comfortable, and the car doesn't feel too bumpy. The pickup is also quite good, especially when you put it in Sport mode. The response becomes much quicker, and the car feels more fun to drive. Overtaking on highways is also quite confident. Even when the road isn't perfect, the car stays composed. One thing I didn't like – Petrol Mileage The main drawback for me is the petrol mileage. If your running is high, especially in city traffic or if you enjoy using Sport mode, fuel consumption can become a little expensive. So, if you are someone who drives a lot of kilometres every month, I would definitely suggest looking at the Nexon Diesel. The diesel makes more sense for high running because of its better fuel efficiency and strong torque. It's especially good if you do a lot of highway driving or long-distance trips. My Verdict Overall, I really like the Nexon. Comfortable ride, good pickup, Sport mode, solid build, safety and excellent stability — these are the things that make the car enjoyable to drive. If your running is low or moderate, petrol is absolutely fine. But if you drive a lot, go for the diesel. It will be a much more practical choice for your pocket in the long run. Overall, Nexon is a car that feels safe, comfortable and fun to drive — and that's what matters most to me.

After 2 to 3 years the battery will get dead + pick up issue in economy mode but city mode will give you good pickup+ stock tyres will get chipping after 30k -35 k km of usage + avg service...pros: excellent build quality+ confident driving experience+ very good cabin space + excellent ac cooling+ front seats are very comfortable comfortable....my overall experience after 4.5 years (43 k km ) .... recently I changed all 4 tyres .. upgraded to continental uc6...

Nexon: City Chic, Rugged Charm. Hey, I am driving Tata Nexon last 1 year more then 5000 KM, its really comfortable, amazing car with powerful engine but there is chance of improvement, I observed city millage 8 -9/ Km and highway 13-14, some time software issue in system, back seat belt also problematic when 3 people will sit together, its point outside of seat and making discomfort to everyone and most important in new model horn is in middle of staring its not easily reachable when driving.

First of all even if you have a bumper to bumper it requires a surveyor to verify the damage. After the assessment they provide the compensation amount. This process itself takes at least a day. Then they change the part and give. I don't know how they changed you instantly. Mention the insurance company if possible, such a ultra fast approval. Now under chassis protection may be required for tata, since they have rusting issues in the brand new car. But the rubberised coating is normally good and I am totally unaware of the platinum coating which you say. I hope you paid only processing fee for insurance. Any car brands will have the first three services free. I hope you have not paid for it. That too in the first service they just check the basics, since the engine oil has run its first run. Gearbox sound is a serious issue which normally may come after 100k kms. If it is sorted fine otherwise it's gonna haunt you like anything. Check your driving pattern also that too might hurt the gearbox if you are a first time car driver.

When it comes to mileage the Nexon is no slouch either. On highways, you can comfortably achieve around 16–17 km/l with smooth driving. And if you look at the market trends, the Nexon has consistently been among the top-selling cars in recent months—feel free to check it yourself. With Tata, you get a premium feel a solid build, confident performance, and most importantly, safety you can trust. Maruti may give you better mileage and lower maintenance, but when it comes to build quality and road presence, the Nexon stands in a completely different league.

A good owner review!! An avid user of the car and clocking 115k kms and still experiencing a good engine performance is the best choice of TATA segment. The body and painting are the main issues. Ofcourse the after service as usual rated "0".

Nexon piku. Review after 6 months of usage: The Tata Nexon XZ+ S MT is my car. Initially felt like the clutch was a little laggy For beginners like me, having driving modes is so useful as Sports drive mode is very punchy :) Loved the speakers. The sound is loud and clear Design wise both interior and exterior looks beautiful. 5* GNCAP rating - we can feel the car's presence every time and also solid build quality gives so much confidence both in cities and highways. Space inside the cabin is good and comfortable Ground clearance of 209mm is too good on any road. I went on 3 long journey trips travelling days and nights with 5 people in the car. So didn't face any issues anytime Sunroof is decent Can hear some engine noise due to 3 cylinder engine in Petrol but we can get used to it. So no worries for me. Getting decent mileage. On highways around 17–20. In the city around 12–15.

Engine waste - broke down twice in 18k km. Think twice before buying Jasper Tata Cars. Tata Motors_car #TataMotors, as my Tata Nexon car, broke down twice in 18k km ... now billed 23K .. engine oil mixed with coolant and engine now ceased just in 18k km drive....I never stop posting my grievance till it reaches Tata's higher authorities to inquire about the service failure and engine failure... My car right now is in Tata Jasper Guntur.

Best SUV segment. Performance is very good to drive, and engine refinement is fabulous and fun to drive as well. This is one of the best SUV segment cars, and the build quality is very good 5-star safety rating, and I love it.

Nexon is a worst car. I drove 50,000 km in 4 years. At 20,000 km turbo fan gone. At 50,000 engine got serious issues. Repairs are super expensive.. Never buy tata products..they are crap..

My uncle bought a tata tiago in 2017 and in 2019 he sold it because of High maintenance and after 40k km, the instrument cluster Always show engine light even after leaving car for 1 month on service center they still didn't solved the issues after that be sold the car with disappointment because of resale value and also tata service centre staff is not as good and experienced in terms of Costomer and their interests. In 2020 he bought a hyundai I20 and he is very happy now, what i want to say that tata's Service cost and maintenance is higher compared to other companies like hyundai, suzuki and Honda they should focus on building reliable engine rather than launching new cars. Companies like toyota and suzuki has the most reliable and smooth engine in the market uptill now and now three more companies also Joined this list with Hyundai, Kia and mahinda i don't know about kia but Mahindra also have major reliability issues in electronic Components not in engine but i don't know their Maintenance cost because i own toyota Innova crsyta but j drove a XuV700 and that was the smoothest engine with low sound compared to my innova and also ignore my grammer and some English errors.

I am getting mileage lesser than 8 kmpl in city. Probably 6 or 7 kmpl in the city . If I were aware about it then i never buy its turbo engine ….
