Here’s what’s the problem with this thar OG, PLASTIC ROOF, weak A & B pillars, thin metal in the doors, mostly plastic body, cheap plastic used in the doors, speakers sound like toy piano (in the top ZXT variant) , funny quality of the reverse camera, trust me if you see the camera of a cheapest Tata car in price, Tiago mid model, the difference is cheapest android phone camera vs latest iPhone. And the annoying one, wired apple CarPlay. Slightly long clutch travel, uncomfortable reverse gear applying mechanism. Here’s what’s I liked about thar OG, 19’ MRF AT tyres in ZXT, that was a great selection of the tyres, leatherette seats & rear seats are actually comfortable now. Front looks a lot better now.

Tell me if i wrong with my calculations, the thar 1.5 zxt has sub4 meter benefits so it is charged only 18% gst and thar 2.2 4x4 zxt AT charged with 40%gst not having sub 4meter benefits, so if considering the ex showroom price for the 1.5 zxt before gst is 11.4718L (13.99 - 18%), 2.2 4x4 zxt AT being 11.394 (18.99- 40%), how is the top model cheaper than the RWD ZXT Manual before GST?

Mahindra has so many service issues and it’s been more than 24 hours I have been left with no RSA. Just imagine if it would have been no network area like Spiti or Ladakh. These people will left you dieing

Mahindra Thar Black Beast – The Perfect Blend of Power and Style.. I purchased the Mahindra Thar in black a few months ago, and it’s been an amazing experience so far. The buying process was smooth, with helpful staff explaining all features in detail. The first drive itself gave a feeling of pure power and confidence — the engine roar, road presence, and high seating position make every trip special. It performs exceptionally well both in city traffic and rough terrain. The black colour looks premium but requires frequent cleaning to maintain its shine. Interiors are practical and comfortable, though the rear seats are slightly cramped. Mileage is decent for its segment, and performance is solid. Servicing has been professional and timely, with reasonable costs. It has Bold looks, a strong build, great off-road ability, powerful engine. The only cons are Limited boot space, average mileage, hard ride on rough roads. Regular servicing, underbody cleaning after off-road in, tyre rotation, and waxing to preserve the black shine. Overall, the Mahindra Thar is a perfect mix of adventure and style for those who love to stand out!

I think you should give Mahindra credit where credit is due when you talk about your service experience, instead of thanking God. It will encourage the brand to know they are doing something right and keep doing it right until the can compete with the best in terms of service center experience.

What I've noticed about Thar Roxx is that its windscreen is prone to stone chips which causes the damage, I've seen other creators like Mechanical Jugadu, his windscreen also cracked because of stone chipping. I think it's a common issue for Thar Roxx owners.

We don't even have good roads in metro cities, let alone be other parts of country. Considering that factor, THAR is the ultimate car for India, atleast for owners who doesn't have a big family.
