If you're planning to buy a Standard Bullet later, just go for the Black Gold 350. I’ve used it for 3 months now—no complaints at all. Mileage, performance, and braking are all superb. Easily one of the best Royal Enfield bikes 👍🏻

Bro, whatever the issue u have faced is also for me in standard black also. But there is no break issue in standard. But the service centre issue is the major thing , even after complaining from the company side they are not responding properly. Tapper noise : in my 2nd service i mentioned it to company and also service centre they opened the engine top and done tightness, but still noise persisting. Asking the service centre regarding thet they mentioned if we adjust more it affect milage and performance.

14:30 💯😂😂Having the same model and almost every issues you mentioned but I tight the rear brakes often so I don't feel much problem with that and for city use rear brakes are okay still considering saftey going for dual disk with dual channel abs is better and ofcourse the valve noise is something we have to live with and now after owning it for a while it kind of became normal to me and anyhow it feels like a bullet for sure and still a massive heavy bike with a nice torque and I am okay with its imperfections but there are ofcourse better bikes in the same segment people can go for honda or triumph those are really good and refined machines. But given a chance to go back I would still choose the Bullet (Sentimental value of my grandpa's 1993 bullet).

Same issue in my classic 350 😂 1. Engine light, 2. Rain time la easily gets dirty, 3. Built quality looks good but owners know not enough....things u skipped to mention are - Millage unpredictable, speedo meter show wrong speed, fuel capacity showing thing absolutely pathetic, my reborn top model have adjustable brakes that replacement cost is more....service ku kasu ready panikonga vanguna agali

Been riding this variant (The Standard) for the past 2.5 months (not converted to Battalion), and it clearly targets a very specific kind of rider. This is for someone who values authenticity over trends: • Proper retro character, not a modern reinterpretation • Halogen setup instead of flashy LEDs • Genuine chrome engine and exhaust, not blacked-out styling • No unnecessary electronics • Strong parts availability • Reliable and widespread service network • Low maintenance cost In today’s market, this stands out as one of the most raw and truly retro machines you can buy. It doesn’t try to be modern, it stays rooted in what a classic motorcycle should feel like. It’s also priced more sensibly than the Royal Enfield Classic 350, even when comparing closely matched variants. The Classic 350 is undoubtedly more stylish and appealing to many, but it has also become extremely common, especially the Stealth Black variant. Matte finishes, particularly on the engine and exhaust are hard to maintain and keep clean, especially in Indian conditions. Within the Classic lineup, the Halcyon Black variant comes closest to a true retro feel, thanks to its gloss black paint and chrome engine and exhaust. However, the dual-disc version of this variant has been discontinued, which limits its practicality for some riders. So, “The Standard” variant of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ends up being the most sensible choice for a specific mindset.. someone who prefers simplicity, durability, and a true old-school feel over modern styling trends. One more important point.. ground clearance: The Bullet 350 dual-disc variants offers 170 mm, which is the same as dual-disc variants of the Classic 350. However, both Classic and Bullet models with a rear drum brake have 160 mm ground clearance. That 10 mm difference comes from the brake pedal lever design.. it runs below the exhaust pipe in drum variants. Also, when you press the brake, the lever dips further down, effectively reducing ground clearance even more in real riding conditions.

Written in the first months. It still counts, but it cannot speak to how the car ages.

My Standard Black Bullet was the first in my hometown at the time of its release. I have ridden it for 14,562 km so far. The bike’s performance is fabulous. I’ve faced only one issue so far, and Royal Enfield responded immediately and helped me. The RSA extended warranty is very useful.

Great bike in the segment!. The people in the showroom were friendly and helpful. I got the bike for around 2.40 lakh with accessories. The ride quality is supreme and very smooth, and the seat is comfortable for the rider and the pillion. Performance is great in the city and holds up very well out on the highways as well, with no vibrations till 90kmph. The sweet spot is 80-90 on the highways. The engine is very responsive and feels powerful. The bike looks absolutely stunning in the mid-models, but the matt edition is not so much. Service and maintenance are fine not too expensive, do expect around 1800 rupees. Overall experience is very pleasing. Great bike, would recommend it! Rating Parameters ( out of 5 ) 5 Design and styling 5 Reliability 4 Comfort 4 Service experience 4 Value for money About the Reviewer Ridden for (If Owned) 0-5000 km Got mileage of 38 kmpl Tips for other riders Do use a sump guard. It makes cleaning very easy. Change oil every 4000 kms. Make sure you add the extended warrenty its value for money is great. Road side assistance is not as appealing for people living in tier 3 cities but can be helpful to ones who are in tier 1 or even tier 2 cities. Read More

Looks wise, I prefer the new 350 bullet over the classic and that saddle does look inviting. I still love my Hunter for the narrow back lanes of west Cork, Ireland. I've done the major mods that are commonly done (air-filter, decat exhaust with a hooligan end can, and fuelling modifier) and - with its stable but sharp handling - the thing drives like a dream. I can honestly say, I've now got the bike exactly as I want it. Looking at the Bullet, the only thing I miss are the large diameter wheels which would be much better at absorbing the bumps in our incredibly broken and badly patched West Cork roads. However, after watching a video by Dave Moss Tuning on the subject of tyre pressure, I was inspired to experiment a bit: for a far more comfortable ride I now run my tyres at roughly 4 Psi below the recommended pressures (both on my 650 V-strom and my Hunter). Due to the larger contact patch, wear will probably increase (only time will tell). Bear in mind, not all tyres behave in the same way, so much trial and error was called for (as suggested by Dave Moss). My previous rear tyre on the Hunter (Metzler Karoo Streets) wallowed and squirmed with lower air pressure whereas my new and much sportier Mitas MC50s seem unfazed and reward me with a larger contact patch and a gummier, stickier feel.

I got the same one a few months back (minus the terrible upgrades) and I absolutely love it! Perfect for exploring the country lanes of the UK and loads of fun to rag it around at 60mph. In my opinion the DNA air filter kit and the decat pipe is a must - they really free the engine up and make it peppier (plus bring a bit more noise to the party). The original seat is still very comfy, even for a taller rider like myself (6'1") and the riding position is lovely and relaxing.

Was thinking of getting a Bullet 500 as a winter bike, back in the 90ies. Nice that this modern 350 seems to have mitigated most of the issues the 500 used to have, especially the horrible vibrations. One thing remains, which is the unability to overtake a lorry on a single carriageway road. i really enjoyed your review and will think again about this year's winter motorbike.

I absolutely loved the Bullet when it was launched in the J series engine an year or so back. I test rode the Bullet and Classic back to back to understand the difference. For my height, the Bullet felt little more comfortable. However ,i chose the Classic over the Bullet because Classic had alloy wheel options an year back. Plus some modifications and that has made the seating and a lot of other stuff very comfortable. Got the Signals Marsh Grey with Alloy wheels and damn that thing looks so good. It sounds so freaking good inside the helmet. I doubted my decision when Triumph launched the Scrambler. But as me and my wife spend more and more time with and on the Classic, our bond and love for it keeps growing stronger.

Im definitely thinking of getting a Bullet 350 after I step up to a A2 licence from my 125 scooter. It seems like an ideal choice for up on the backroads going to university and back, especially so in the Highlands. Plus im a sucker for retros. My only concern is my height, being a shorty at 5'2, hopefully ill have enough seat height to touch the ground haha.

The 350J engine improves it's performance once run in after about a 1000km. Also, a free flow air filter improves the acceleration especially mid range.

It's a welcome addition to RE family... I like the new bullet and a decent pricing considering other re models as well. J series engine is definitely better than the old ones. Due to bad drum brakes and aging engine, recently sold my bs3 c350 for a very good price... New bullet is essentially a single seat version of classic 350
