My observation on Hyundai 1.2 L kappa engine for last 14.5 years on my I10 sportz varient, is very good, but it break booster don't function at low rpm, when crossing speed breakers, on half clutch, & apply break padel. This issue was raised with dealer & Hyundai by e mail as well as demonstrated by driving, but they failed to address issue, this issue was found in as many I10 cars as i had driven, even their show room i10 test car had issues, which was demonstrated. My solution to this issuue, was never accepted. Therefore, i am not going for 1.2 kappa cars of Hyundai. & booked Brezza face lift 2026. Please test this engine, as i narrated.
Clocked 65000kms on the venue turbo sx(o) bought in 2020 feb and its still going good , service and parts have been changed but i have taken extended warranty so no worries overall the car is going good , mileage is the only drawback apart from the negatives but that doesnt matter much , overall the car is great and still is going good , venue doesnt feel out dated yet and only shuddering issue is now in my vehicle so i have to change clutch plates now but still venue is a great package ❤
The ultimate showdown. The 1.2 is such a refined and smooth engine, but it struggles under heavy acceleration and city traffic. Hyundai showroom official claimed it to be up to 18 kmpl, but the real-world mileage is not very satisfying. Not more than 15, even on highway cruising. In city driving, it barely delivers 12 kmpl. After all, it's a small naturally aspirated engine designed for city driving 12 kmpl in bumper-to-bumper city driving; its mileage is not very impressive for elderly people and women. 1.2 is a nice engine for daily commuting, after all. But at the end of the day, the choice remains yours But in my opinion, it should not be based on your previous car or any friends. It should be based on results from your driving. So first, go for a test drive.
The all new hyundai venue. As compared to earlier venue the new venue is more luxurious. It's 1.5 crdi engine is well refined and has potential. Driving it in highway is much more comfortable compared to other car brands like mahindra , tata and maruti Suzuki. In general after sales is also perfect and well managed . The best part of it is it's interior . Happily driving Hyundai Venue hx7.
New Venue. Booked HX 8 1.0 Turbo MT on 28.11.2025, but have yet to get delivery. The dealer also did not confirm the same waiting period, told initialy 4-6 weeks, but now increases another 8 to 10 weeks. A lot of complaints have been made to the national sales head, but no response. It is a complete failure on the part of the delivery.

Smoothness is defined here!. Took a test drive here at Baroda, and it was an amazing experience! As I drove it, I can confirm that it is going to be in the market for a long time... Hyundai is improving it's product quality and after-sales service... With a vast chain of authorised service stations, customer are going to enjoy their experience and it will be worth it.
Good Should But. Professional detailing highlight, showroom like paint, enhancement deep scarth removal and long lasting. It looks like nice suv, good mileage and overall good specially n line black colour is extremely georgeous, nice overall boot space is also so big, seat is very good in seating, my review is if our budget is 10 to 15 lacks then should go on buy venue.
Wonderfull Car. Great car, smooth drive. I have driven the Santro as well, and it was an excellent car. It was a great experience. The seats are comfortable, and the mileage is good. My family loves the brand, Hyundai, and the service personnel are very well organised. There are no queues like at other service centres, and they never misguide customers for spare parts like the VW and Maruti service centres.
One question sir, is it a safe practice of getting my car filled to the brim everytime while on a highway trip knowing that the fuel level will decrease within 15-20 mins of drive, also mention about what if I fill my car to the brim and then let it rest for 1 week or so. Hyundai cars are so smooth except for the mileage and small electronic parts that fail. Also certain old parts are a bit difficult to source since they update their cars quite a lot. I have a Gen 1 Creta Facelift 1.6 Petrol btw. One more point is that the suspension on it is quite bad on unpaved roads and over potholes but drives like butter on highway cruises.

Hyundai ka fan base kaafi alag hai. They don't buy car for mileage. They buy for best in class fit n finish and best service network compared to other indian brands.

Mera Xcent ka service charge at 30000 kms was 30000 InR. I went to neighbourhood mechanic, found 2 very good mechanics who have helped till date. Right now i am at 85000 kms.

Very nice user review sir. I am an owner of seltos 1.5 diesel manual and it has been 3.5 years and 40,000 km. I don’t see any drop in performance at 80 or 100kmph. It’s exactly same like day 1. Secondly, did not have weird service experience. Completed 4 paid services thus far, bills (including wheel alignment and balancing) always ranged between 8000 to 9500. It’s shocking that the engine feels dated already at just 45000km. Like you have pointed out, It’s probably because of many hands driving the car. I’m having a pleasant experience with my seltos. Based on my interaction with hundreds of diesel engine drivers of Hyundai creta, Kia seltos and Hyundai venue and Kia sonet, the cars are definitely reliable and they can stand the test of time provided one maintains them without accidents and one ensures timely service from authorised service centre only. This is true for all mass market cars being sold in 10 to 25 lakh range.
Venue Petrol turbo DCT mileage in bumper to bumper traffic 6-7 kmpl normal traffic 9-11 and highway drive 14-16 kmpl with xp95 petrol hoping to improve after 2nd servicing so far total km is only 760km with fulltime AC on ,hope it helps turbo automatic is great to drive the power and pickup is very good

Hyundai generally has the best dealership and service experiences. This was just unlucky.
Guys my kia syros with this same turbo engine gave low numbers only in the beginning. But after 1000kms and first service, I'm getting even 11-14 in city and 16-18 in highways. However, It totally depends on your driving
I am using Hyundai venue 2021 model diesel sx variant. Mileage City 14.6 Highway 80-90km/hr : 22.6 90-100km/hr : 20+ Driving & passenger comfort is best in the segment. I am happy with my vehicle and service.
