30K Kms Review On 5th Gen Honda City. I have the 5th Gen purchased during 2021. I have so far clocked 38K kms. A few pros and cons are listed below pros 1. Car is butter smooth to drive. Suspension is on the soft side and rear passenger comfort is the best 2. I get a mileage of 22kms on highways being driven around 80Kmph. In city like Bengaluru I get 14kms on average traffic flows 3. Steering has brilliant response and associates heft. Gives great confidence on highways Cons 1. Noise insulation is poor. External noise is heard includes wind noise and engine noise when driven around 80Kmph 2. Ground clearance is poor when run with full load of 4 people . I have to be cautious on speed breakers 3. Paint thickness is somehow not upto the mark 4. Maintenance costs are on the higher side approx 18K per year.

Beast With Beauty Hehe!!. Well from the early twenties, I wanted to ride Honda city and yesterday just got a chance to drive this comfortable beast. I really enjoyed the trip. I almost travelled around 200+ km and I feel fresh even at destination. Mileage and all are really good. I really liked this beauty in black. Great one at this segment.

Sir sorry to jump from x to here ... But wanted your opinion badly 😅 Swift vs Tiago , purely body shell stability winner New Swift with new Heartect platform of Dzire where suzuki india chariman specifically mentioned presence of advanced ultra high quality steel in Swift Can we trust swift for safety, or can't comment and shall I go with Tiago considering proven 4* , with unstable shell even though with older norms Since Airbags only useful if body shell is strong so not mentioned airbags where swift has advantage with 6 Airbags Since no ncap rating, would like your expert opinion

Hello, I'm a new driver and I had been driving my mother's 4th Gen 2016 Honda City MT and this car had been with us for about 9 years. I would like to put my input here and say: The Honda City is fun to drive, absolutely. I feel that if you really look after the car and not just abuse it. Yes, this car has rusting issues and we didn't see any sort of rusting on wheel wells but since it had been sitting for a long time due to less usage, it had water leakage problems and a lot of things were there since it went to local. It was having a heavy steering and it felt rigid driving it. However, Honda fixed it and in spite of it's expensive repair, it was worth it and the fuel economy is definitely not bad, it's pretty nice. The AC is also okay and the steering definitely light, so is the clutch and gear shifting is smooth and nice, although it is slightly hard to shift to 5th, requires effort but overall? The car is amazing, it feels safe and stable. At least for me, the car does not seem to have rattling issues and in spite of being flat for 4-5 years, the engine runs smooth and the car doesn't feel like it's ageing, but again, that's just me. At the end of the day, it's really on how you maintain and look after it, and it has been amazing for my daily commute. Love the video!

Driven my 5th Gen Honda city for 7k kilometers and heres my honest take ( manual Zx) Test driven virtus and city and immediately felt in love with city because of its handling and steering feedback. Virtus 1.0 felt underpowered and clutch is very stiff No issues with ground clearance No tyre issues as described in various reviews , car feels properly planted upto 100/110 km in highway. Theres no need to go beyond that speed Ride quality excellent. Seats amazing. To drive the car is absolutely relaxing. Did a 700km stretch on nh16 for non stop 15 hours. Only issue i felt is tyre noise at high speed, which specially becomes irritating if you are driving in concrete roads at highway. FE 17.5 avg on highway, got 20+ on few stretches. City ride around 11.5

how is the steering weight on ur honda city? i bought a used hondad city 2015 cvt model about 3 years ago used, and I always have felt like the steering feels too heavy for me. I even got the steering rack changed but it is still the same. Tried another car of same model at service center and the steering was so much more lighter! The mechanics at the service center also cant seem to figure out what the issue is because there are no warning lights as well

That Is A Perfect Car At This Price Point. This is a perfect car. Its suspension works excellent and the seats are very comfortable. The price of this car is excellent. I really prefer you to buy this car and the speed of this car is like beast. The interior of this car is very luxurious. If I buy any car in my future, this will be my first choice. i recently travelled to Raipur for holidays.google suggested different route on return day as i had to one temple at Raigad.this route was mines area full of craters not potholes.had i purchased City instead of Ecosport total vehicle would hv got damaged or stuck in craters..even though its not SUV it managed well as whole day it was raining..totally stable at high speed in rains.Higher ground clearance is need of time not just for show off. unless your ride is only city or god highway dont consider sedans or hatchback. i only see negatives in this car. 1.low ground clearance. 2.high cost of spares and servicing. 3.spares not available outside means you are at mercy of service center diktats. 4.risk of shutting shop anytime 5.Much better SUVs available at same price. im not even questioning quality of engine but sorry SUVs are more practical till roads become better in tier 2-3 cities.

Only 2 negatives from my 2.5yr ownership experience although they are not deal breakers and i love my city (5th gen /2022model): 1. Some rear Tyre noise at high speed . (Lack of proper wheel arch liner might be the culprit here) Solution: sound damping sheets. 2. At high speed (95-100+) there is noticeable bounciness (vertical movements) in ride on undulated highway roads including expressways. (maybe due to soft suspension setup. Below those speed numbers the ride is very compliant and smooth) Solution: no solution found yet. (Plz Let me know if someone has the fix for this)

Honda City New. Good car, had a test drive then my friend made a booking. So great experience, met the overall expectations and the brakes are smooth as well as the torque produced is also great, speed is good, interior is good, sunroof is big enough to let me out as I am fat, rest the steering control and body roll over is also great, obviously we didn't crashed the car but by body roll over I meant maneauvering is great.

Been just over 4 months, adding my 2cents: Very driver friendly. I do an average 2,000km every 3 months or 8,000km a year. I have done 500km in a day, a you dont feel tired. Minimum body roll and the handling is top notch. City run mileage around 14kmpl and highway 18-19kmpl. CVT has been really helpful. And there is enough power on tap, even for quick overtakes. Sensing- Helps you keep lanes and highway cruise becomes super easy. If you are a sedate sensible driver, you will do 100kmph easy. Safety: Absolutely. So planted and 6airbags. Grouse: A mild hybrid would have made this car future proof for the next decade. But this is wishful thinking.

I own ZX CVT since 2023. There is immense amount of tyre noise and road noise leaking in cabin. Even cars like i10 and Baleno are quieter than this. Would be interested to know Sunder-ji, what you think of it.

Just finished 1500 km drive on my honda city (CVT)Bangalore -Madurai-Rameshwaram-Bangalore . -Pick up is really great and VTEC kicks in at 4k which is absolute fun. -At Mid range after 80-90kmph car struggle to pick up power dlivery is flat. -i used paddle shifters so i can juice out this engine. -Rubber band effect its hardly get noticed may 1-2 second nothing more than that ,this is not an issue for me. -City or highway peroformace is smooth and great. -comfort is great , having driven 1500 km did not tire much ,we were sooper happy about that Thanks to great suspension.

2016 V MT,4th gen city owner here. I agree with all of your points. I have my additional pros and cons here, Pros: 1. Front seat comfort , hands down. No car comes close even from two segments above. I find myself uncomfortable in a VW passat compared to my city 2. Rear legroom with up angled foot well area and front seat rails placed in way that it almost doesn't exist. Look at the front seat rail from rear seats of citroen C3 today, it will tear some skins. 3. Reverse camera quality, far better than today's 28 lakhs scorpio N. 4. Floor below ABC pedals are tilted up a bit not a flat floor like Ciaz. Your foot automatically slide to the respective pedals blindly. 5. Steering controls, you need not look at them. You always know what you are pressing since its like game console type. I always engage cruise control in VW virtus rather increasing volume. 6. Point and shoot Engine especially in small gaps in ghat section where turbo diesels have their own mind Cons : 1. Rattling Dashboard 2. Brakes not efficient 3. Stock Suspension setup is funny. 4. Stock tyre size is more funnier 5. Zero noise insulation, you hear every minute detail from the road like IMAX I am going to work on my car since its 1 lak km in the odo, i would like to collaborate with you if you are interested, share your contact details. Thanks.

I bought this and have driven till 18k kms now few points 1 - suspension is not what I expected it's gud. , but needs improvement 2 - steering feedback was much better in my ford 3- breaking as fasial said should have been better may be tyre upsize would help 4- headlights flicker ( top end led headlight) on rough roads and honda says there is no solution to it , it's manufacturing defect and honda doesn't own that. 4- fog light is useless no throw , zero visibility of fog lights ( led ) 5- mileage is gud iam getting 16 kmpl mix of highway and City 6- The engine is great , between 4500 and 6000 RPM it's great fun 7- built quality is gud , interiors quality is top notch 8- boot space is great 9 - ADAS works seamless and very usefull 10- 6 airbags and collision mitigation like features are very assuring Over all a few miss could have been avoided in the top model worth 17 lacs , like cooled glove box , adjustable hand rest , better quality hand rest at back , better door pocket space , could have given better quality headlights , thigh support in seats are not adequate
