Indian brands have better after sales service then Kia. The car is amazing i bought it in may 2025 and i completed 15,000 kms i previously had honda which i drove for 99,500 kms looks and performance is top notch excellent but after sales service is worst 11,000 kms service costed me Rs.10,500 and most of the things were not required that they did service centers force you to take the unnecessary services and headlights are the worst of seltos

I have owned petrol seltos for 4 years and few suggestions for the car owner: 1) Long press the voice command button to invoke android assistant while connected to Android auto 2) Kia has a web calculator to estimate service costs. Do use that before handing over the car to the dealer rather than simply paying whatever the dealer is demanding. I have never paid more than 6k for my past 3 paid service 3) Ensure to drive in eco or city mode while on highways. I easily get 16-18kmpl on highways with my petrol seltos

thanks Pranay and Sudhansu, I have a Kia Seltos GTX A DCT and it's an amazing car! I've even convinced two of my friends to buy it as well. It offers a smooth ride and a premium, rich interior. I am 5'11", and while it's comfortable, I do feel the under-thigh support could be better. I was originally about to buy a Creta and then waited for the Tata Sierra. However, the Sierra had fit and finish issues, and the car wasn't even available for a test drive at my nearest showroom here in Mumbai. Meanwhile, my Kia dealer had all the models available to view. I think Tata makes great cars, but they always miss that last 5%. If they improve their quality control, fit, and finish, their cars could sell just as well as the Seltos or Creta.
I heard that that kia has pushed another update regarding speaker issue of low volume and weak bass I would recomonded that he should reach service center and update the newer version
My Running is about 15 Kms daily . Do you think the Toyota Hyryder Neo Drive is worth the buy now post the updates and factoring in the amazing discounts and benefits the company is offering . I have used the Kia Seltos 1st Gen for the past 5 years now . Amazing to drive , hassle free ownership experience, ride quantity is the only issue . Just too stiff . And I dislike the way the Creta looks and have had a very bad experience with the Škoda dealer in Kolkata .
I thought I only faced this problem with shocker. Within 3 weeks of buying I had issues with rear shocker. The sound was constant. I took it to service center and they said the lubricant oil was leaking and for that the sound was coming. They told me they fixed it but again within a week the sound is coming again. This time I am going to tell them to replace with new one cause I really don't like to drive around with the sound.

Happy to have Kia Seltos Petrol as it is giving 11+ in local and near about 17 on highways but owner is true on hard suspensions. I have raised to the dealership, Seniors & Customer care but nothing
Dealers aren’t wrong. Seltos used to give 14-15 mileage in city in diesel. But this Seltos is based on a new platform and is larger and heavier. But same engine. Hence lesser mileage.
Other than tata service Sierra is best choice, more features - Seltos is good but not upto mark, not good road presence.

Best Family Car. This is one of the best SUV in market for middle class family. Comfort, ride quality and mileage is best, in comparison with other cars in this segment, and also the maintenance cost is low. Everyone can afford this suv, very low maintenance cost, it's service cost is also very low, I think this is India's best SUV.
Spending 20+ lacs on a car, mileage shouldn't be that much of a concern. Service costs are also expected to be higher. All that just comes with the territory. If you got the space, keep a smaller car too. A beater eco-box where you don't have to care much about fuel, service or scratches.

I think he does not have any idea of the service cost becoz i personally own a diesel seltos with imt transmittion the service cost of my car in 20k 30k service was 6-7k and 40k was 9-10k considering a diesel car its quite cheap and he owns a petrol car which will be even less than a diesel car
