Using an i20 1.2 IVT Asta(O) since September 2023, and it has covered close to 30,000 km so far. Mine was actually one of the first facelift i20s delivered in Kochi. The engine is extremely refined and well-suited to city use, though the IVT's rubber-band effect does dull performance a bit. Fuel efficiency has been around 7-8 kmpl in the city and 11 kmpl on highways. Also, despite concerns online, ground clearance has never been an issue in my experience.

I am owning I20 for the past 2 years and below are my pros and cons Pros - Car looks stylish (Kinda Sports car) - Interior looks Premium - Handling is so good - Long travel doesn't get tired - Service is so good. Cons - in stock Headlight visibility is very low during night rides - Engine pickup is linear so whenever you plan to overtake car doesn't co-operate with AC on ! - could have improved the throttling speed - Distance can be travelled value shown in the cluster and the actual distance you travel doesn't match ., sometime if you travel 1.5 kms it reduces 3kms in the cluster .. - As he said not having rear wiper are a minus in sportz optional - Infotainment system - Could have given better screen and speaker ( currently 6 speaker are there ) could have given 2 more speaker.

Decent and comfortable for city rides. I bought this car on September 24 and writing this review after driving it for 10k km . I use my i20 (O) for all my day to day work , almost like a 2wheeler!! Pros: The driving experience is no doubt very decent and comfortable for city rides. Looks are sharp and sporty. Engine performance was also good and responsive. Must say the stability at higher speeds for this hatchback is very good. Cons: Suspension feels stiffer at potholes Mileage is again an issue. As said by the salesperson, the BS6 phase 2 engine gives 20+ kmpl, but it is not correct. I drive very decently without any unnecessary acceleration and less clutch use, but it still gives 16 kmpl at best in the city. Highway output is good around 19- 20 kmpl at cruise. Small potholes feel very bad.

Best Car I20. I think this is a best option in this price. Mostly the black colour is most hotter colour. It offers comfortable driving experience. It offers a perfect balance between performance, practicality, safety and modern technology making it a strong choice for city and highway and it offers good mileage.

Awesome. The Hyundai i20's advantages include a premium, spacious cabin with excellent fit/finish, loaded features (touchscreen, Bose audio, sunroof), good ride quality, smooth gear shifts, and strong safety with multiple airbags, making it a desirable, feature-rich premium hatchback with good city and highway manners, though it can be pricier than rivals.

Using the Magna Variant with Sunroof for 1 Year Pros 1. Smooth and refined engine with comfortable driving experience. 2. Excellent highway stability, especially at speeds between 80–100 km/h. 3. Good interior design and overall cabin quality. 4. Precise steering response and confident handling. Cons 1. Headlamp performance is very poor, making night driving difficult and potentially unsafe. 2. Engine power feels insufficient in hilly areas and village roads, requiring frequent gear shifts. 3. Fuel efficiency is below expectations. In regular driving conditions, mileage is around 14–16 km/l. With careful driving at a constant 60 km/h, it can reach 19–20 km/l. 4. Ground clearance is not ideal for Kerala roads; the front bumper frequently scrapes on uneven surfaces. 5. Upgrade options for the base variant are limited, including restrictions on rear lamp upgrades. 6. The sunroof provided in the base variant has limited practical use and adds little value. Overall, Before purchasing, take a detailed test drive and speak with existing owners about their real-world experience. At this price point, several competing brands offer better features, performance, and overall value for money. Thanks

I20 Reviews. I liked this car so much because of such a very cheap price, it provides all necessary requirements. Also it looks compact and can be fit anywhere easily. Being a wise driver, I suggest every youth to buy this bike for safety and looks, also if you are worried about mileage then remain calm because this vehicle gives an amazing mileage of 17 km which is like of very good and this is a long lasting vehicle.

a car you look at twice after parking it. She's perfect, her looks, engine note (with synthetic oil) is top notch, interiors are beautiful especially at night, you can take this car at 100 kmph, and she wouldn't mind, i would pick it over the latest altroz or Baleno any day

King Of Hatchbacks. I am Driving this car for the past One Year and Believe Me! Hyundai has peaked in making The Legend Of Hyundai i20! I have tried to present my review in Sections to make it easier for you to find out the information you need. A - Experience as Owner The i20 has been like a Member of my Family. Since my Father Bought this car, I have never experienced any Lag in the car, thanks to the Excellent Engine and Build Quality of the car. I usually drive in congested city area where the performance of a car is used to Judge it. For i20, it performs very well in cities, it offers excellent comfort, Super Smooth rides, and if course a little above average Mileage(discussed in Section B). B - Performance Statistics Personally, The Performance of the car is excellent and has been Budget-Friendly. In Cities, the car provides smoothness, absolute coziness and doesn't make you uncomfortable:) The Mileage in cities varies in individual patterns. For me who drives at around 60-70km/hr, it offers mileage of 18.7 kmpl(Petrol Manual Variant) and for the lowest, I have recorded 17.4kmpl which is drastic for a Petrol Car. It's about 3kmpl lesser than Hyundai's Claim. I have taken the car to highways where traffic is less, where usually I drive around 85-95km/hr, the car gets a boost in mileage ranging from 18.8-19.9kmpl(Personally Recorded) which is not such a great surge but even a little increment is better. Again, the overall mileage may vary from one driver to another based on driving pattern. As for the Top speed, I reached 152km/hr on Srinagar-Jammu Highway and I expect that the car can push to 158-160km/hr. C - Handsome Body and Feature Loaded Almost every car geek knows that The i20 has a Stellar, Bold, supreme build and design (Hyundai Peaked Here). The car has mighty road presence and you Can feel it behind the Wheel! The car is full of High-Tech features, especially the Big, Bright Multimedia Touchscreen Interface. But, I have experienced a Lag in touch response of the Screen(~0.7 seconds) which kind of makes browsing a bit of struggle. The other features are not really Rare but are really helpful and add to the overall \"Feel\" of the car. And, The sunroof is really a plus point to this Beauty! you have a budget in range of this car, you can definitely go for it! I love my i20!

With respect to handling on highways I felts it’s not stable when the road surface is silky smooth or uneven . I use to get fear on Chennai to Salem as I travel frequently I remember all the spots on highway where the steering itself moves on its own I use to reduce speed on those spots out of fear. When I ask abt this on service centres they were also agreed such issue in i20 and I10 as well.

Hyundai I20 Review. Hyundai i20 is the so comfortable and also capable premium hatchback car, I Absolutely appreciate to the designers of car. Overall, all models are so meaningful, but 16 KMPL average is lower than competitors, but performance is making not noticeable. Interior is so perfect and perfectly fine everywhere.

I had an i20 N Line N6 DCT, and sadly, I met with an accident. During my ownership, I went through quite a few issues with the car. 1.The injector and carbon buildup issues were the biggest problems. I had experienced jerks and breakdowns multiple times, mostly because of fuel-related issues. 2.The brakes were another issue — sometimes they honestly felt like a gamble. But despite all that, this was still such a fun car to drive, especially as a teenager. I never did any major engine modifications. I had a Stage 1 tune for some time, and I also tried a conical air filter before switching back to the stock airbox with a K&N replacement filter. Still, I’m really sad that we had to part ways. We had so many good memories with this car.

Inside, the car comes loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity, steering-mounted controls, and a digital instrument cluster. Safety is also well taken care of with multiple airbags, ABS, and stability control. Overall, the new i20 petrol manual is a reliable and stylish hatchback that perfectly suits modern drivers. Best car in this price range and segment. The car is amazing in terms of comfort, mileage, features and space , customer service is also excellent , only thing I was disappointed about is the ncap rating which is just 3 star but on the other hand everything else is excellent from looks to interior all perfect

Sunroof in this car is very awesome looks of the car is nice . Ac are so good and speakers of this car is fabulous, stearing are also fine. Engine performance is very nice with good milege. Very good looking car, best for family car, daily commute car, fuel economy is good, White colour looks sexy Very good interrior , As a Korean brand it offers reliability and good handling at higher speed. Height adjustable seat belt is a nice feature And for safety there are 3 airbags. If you are looking for a full fledged car with loaded features within 8 lakhs. Go for it.

I am using a 2025 model I20 Sportz manual, here is my experience. It has a good driving experience in both highway and city, the highway experience especially is really good, once you cross 40-60 you get a good power. Mileage 13 in city and highway 16-17 Ground cleared, haven’t faced any issues. Good interior and exterior with premium look Overall 8 out of 10. If your looking for more power house can go for I20 N line.

I also own an i20 Sportz variant, and the stock headlight throw is really poor, especially on the highway. Which LED lights you upgraded to? If possible, could you share the purchase link? It would be a big help.
