Best bike of performance or rounded bike. I recently had the chance to experience this bike, and overall, I am really impressed with it. The bike has a great design and looks stylish without being too flashy. The build quality feels solid, and the overall finish gives it a premium feel. The riding experience is smooth and comfortable, especially for daily commuting. The handling is easy, and the bike feels stable on the road. The seating position is comfortable, making it suitable for both short rides and longer journeys. The brakes provide good control, and the suspension handles normal roads and small bumps quite well. One of the things I appreciate most is how practical the bike is for everyday use. It offers a good balance of performance , comfort, and convenience. The engine feels responsive, and the bike performs well during regular city rides . The mileage is also satisfactory, which makes it a practical choice for daily travel. The service experience has been good as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they explain things properly whenever there is a query. Overall, I am very satisfied with the bike. It offers a good combination of looks, comfort, performance , and practicality. If you are looking for a reliable bike for everyday use, I would definitely recommend considering it. "The Best Motorcycle I've Ever Owned – Royal Enfield Classic 350". I have been riding the Royal Enfield Classic 350 for quite some time, and it has been an amazing experience . The buying process was smooth, and the dealership staff explained everything clearly. The bike has a timeless design that always attracts attention, and the build quality feels premium. The engine is smooth and refined, making city rides and long highway trips equally comfortable. The seating position and suspension provide excellent comfort, even on rough roads. Servicing has been straightforward, and the maintenance costs are reasonable when done at authorised service centres. The mileage is good for a 350cc motorcycle, and the braking system gives confidence while riding . The only minor drawback is that the bike is slightly heavy in slow-moving traffic, but it becomes effortless once on the move. My maintenance tip for other riders is to follow the service schedule, keep the chain cleaned and lubricated, maintain the correct tyre pressure, and check engine oil regularly for the best performance and longer engine life. Overall, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a perfect combination of classic styling, comfort, reliability, and enjoyable performance . I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium retro motorcycle. Thanks a lot for that great Testride. Yes it is relevant! Bought mine 4 years ago and made 24Tkm on it. From Norway, uphill into the Swiss Alps. All day Motocycling like in the early years, but with todays comfort and relyability. It feels like my 1942 / M20 BSA and doing much better than my 1968 B25 Victor and hardly beating my XS650... Until 4th gear you can win "Stop light" runs or enyoing uphill carving. And relaxed dreaming through fields and woods. Even with full camping stuff on top, it handles easy and consumes less petrol. Spares: Rear tire and Chain (24Tkm). Of course Service need to be done, but its quick done and costs nearly same like Fish&Chips plus a glass of fresh milk. Thinking to buy a used one, building a nice ClipOne Racer to impress at the Italien Gelateria... All the best and a pind of petrol in the can...!

95K km in 3years is really an achievement itself 😅🔥!! Btw after the engine rebuild, the rpm fluctuates in your bike! So it’s maybe the throttle body calibration or something… idk why but I never trust authorised service centres for engine rebuild… it’s more or like a failure after spending so much money 😢

I've watched hundreds of reviews on the J-Series bikes and you've managed to sum them all up in just twenty minutes - absolutely spot on! You just have to ride one of these in order to appreciate the simple joy and fun that they bring back to motorcycling. Small, light (reasonably), agile and uncomplicated. None of the trauma of the big, powerful and tech-heavy machines that peer pressure and the industry have been shoving down our throats for decades, just grin-inducing pleasure in the most enjoyable and theraputic way possible on two wheels. I have a Meteor with almost exactly the same mods that you've described plus a 16T gearbox sprocket which suits the extra midrange power that the Kent cam provides, and a throttle body/ECU from the Hunter which removes the 73mph speed limiter, making 65-70mph cruising a realistic proposition. I've covered 10,000 miles over the last two years on motorways, back roads and even no-roads and the bike never misses a beat whilst averaging 90 miles to a UK gallon. 8-10 hour trips are no problem and when I ride with friends who have mostly modern Triumphs and Harleys I never feel at a disadvantage. Servicing and maintenance is a cheap and easy and somebody always comes over for a chat when I stop for fuel or a coffee - what's not to like! Thanks for a great review... 😎

I wish EVERY youtuber would actively realize (and ACT on that thought) that their viewers have finite amount of time to watch their videos. THANK YOU for being one of the very few content creators. Now let me waste a bit of your time. I test-rode today a second hand Himalayan 411. I had my expectations set well and have for the most part enjoyed the ride - especially at tighter corners on narrow roads. However and the main B-roads it was just running out of breath to get to 100 - 110 kmh to keep up with the rest of the traffic. The 350 is absolutely lovely bike, but since it has even less power - I am not sure I should even bother the dealer to test ride it. I in particular like the Meteor, but have a long running wish for Royal Enfield to bring us modern version of the 500cc single cylinder. It is most likely not going to happen - the bike would sit too close to the (at time overweight but otherwise lovely) 650 models. But it would IMO bring the little extra power to make the bike being part of the traffic in a more relaxed manner.

Turning 70 and have owned 40+ bikes...cruisers, sportbikes, standards and dual sports. Two days ago I brought home a Halycon Black 350 Classic, my first dealer new bike in 20 years. Even still adhering to the break in, I can tell that it's my two wheeled spirit animal that I'll happily ride into my sunset. The Halycon Black spoke to me for some reason I couldn't grasp in the showroom; but sitting in my garage admiring it I realized that it almost perfectly matches the Guinness in my hand. Definitely a sign from God that He approves.

Mine is now just over 2 years old and “Omega” like Clementine had the speedo issue after 3 months, the replacement speedo has been fine ever since. If a really sunny and hot day as a precaution I just put a cloth over it, the battery on mine is still the original but do use an optimate on occasion, over 3000 miles now covered with no other issues. I did change the original chain at the first 300 mile service for a top quality DID chain as had issues even with Hondas with low quality chain, the chain still looks brand new! Heated grips fitted before I collected the bike then changed the brown seats to the touring seats in black. Last thing was bar end mirrors. The spokes are rubbish but a month ago fitted alloys and tubeless Bridgestone BT46s and had right angle valves fitted at the same time. In 54 years of biking this bike is by far the best I have ever owned and the first time I am not wondering what bike I will get next. Unless you need to travel at well over 70 mph for a long period of time this is a perfect bike. Very fair review Ian and will carry on enjoying your rides on Clementine 😊

True, in the city we hardly go over 70-80 kmph but on the highways you can easily hit 120-140 kmph where the lack of power is so in your face. But on the other hand if it had more power if would probably not be this fun to ride at low speeds and probably also over heat in traffic and of course low fuel efficiency. So overall the 350 is the perfect balance for our conditions. Also those problems that you mentioned regarding the loose and dirty parts its definitely dealers fault, ive got three classics in my friends group and none of them had these issues. And yes the first oil change just transforms your bike, its unbelievable.

Sounds like you got someone’s else’s problems. I bought a new 2022 RE Classic 350 halcyon green and I have zero problems. Dealership put it together properly and I have made some modes as well like dna air filter but I did not decat or use fuel x those were always questionable in the forums so I happily decided against them and sounds like I made a good choice.

I have moved on from Royal Enfield. After owning for 8 yrs. Every month I had to visit the service centre because of quality issues from the very beginning.Speedo issues, alignment issues, tappet noise, rusting in the tank, sprocket issues and so on. I have bought the Honda CB350 RS. Maintenance 6k approx for a year. Reliable engine. Not a single issue till now. Some say there is no character in the engine because of lack of vibration. I find it funny😂. No offence to RE owners. Ride safe🙏.

YouTube review commentsOctober 2024

Your feelings are similar to mine regarding the 350 Classic. A ridiculous amount of false neutrals, which have virtually disappeared with miles and oil changes. The LCD panel mists up in warm weather (!?!), fortunately the clock doesn't. The original Ceat tyres are okay but nothing special. Suspension is on the harsh side, even at the softest setting. It's a heavy motorcycle for its capacity, though doesn't feel it on the road. However the bike is more than the sum of the parts, and the engine improves with every mile, to make a sweet little unit. Biggest bugbear for me are the tubed wheels, which look great but are a complete pain to live with not helped by Royal Enfield's old school mudguards and idiosyncratic design. Just fixed a rear puncture, so I know. I'd definitely think twice before embarking on a solo tour. I've serviced my Classic from day one and risked invalidating the warranty. Too many stories of basic work being left undone and schedules missed, plus it's a simple bike to work on. I don't know if Royal Enfield's UK labour rates are unrealistic, or dealers think it's a cheap bike that's not worth fussing over. There are accounts of very large mileages being accrued on some 350s, so the design is basically a sound one and rewards a little tlc.

I have ridden 10750 km, my bike is only 6 months old, owning the gun grey variant. Quite the mileage in such a short time, right? I am from near to Calcutta, I have done mostly solo tours. Very stable bike, and handles off road just fine, milleage is good as well, I have gotten highest of 41 till date. Vibrations are there above 90, till 90 I had found it very stable. Only thing is, service quality is very poor.
