Beast With Beauty Hehe!!. Well from the early twenties, I wanted to ride Honda city and yesterday just got a chance to drive this comfortable beast. I really enjoyed the trip. I almost travelled around 200+ km and I feel fresh even at destination. Mileage and all are really good. I really liked this beauty in black. Great one at this segment.

The city manual may be great car - but the CVT is real bad, with poor mileage in city driving conditions..I am getting less than 10 kmpl , I want to ditch this car and buy electric - besides Honda is charging a lot more during servicing, as they are unable to sell many cars in India..I got a bill of Rs.25,000 in my 5th year servicing for Amaze CVT

Not refined as it's rivals,, what the hell are you talking about,, ivtec - no other car manufacturer can ever make an engine close to ivtec..... It is the smoothest, powerful and most reliable petrol engine ever built.Have you not seen the video where a coin was made to stand on a city's engine with the ignition on. Honda makes finest petrol engines and toyota makes finest diesel engines. City's ivtec can go to 100+ speed in 2nd gear, its a masterpiece

Bro i own Polo 1.2 MPi and never in my life since 2011 i got a single issue from it, no parts changes and only timely service done, i have done 88k km on it and engine is real gem for a MPI, after 2500 rpm it just goes and goes up till 5500 rpm On Paper its 75hp but i have dragged with Baleno petrol (which 88hp) and it lost to my car real bad Point is, VW cars aren't bad to maintainance atleast not in my experience. Also cabin real silent 😊

Notchy gear problem is there even in my Dad's 2019 BRV petrol which has same 1.5 ivtec engine but a different gearbox with 6 forward gears. I thought that the problem was due to replacement of clutch plate in non Honda service center. But the garage owner himself has a petrol WRV and maintains it in his own supervision. Now I know the problem is universal and not with the clutchplate. It has clocked 112000 km. When we changed the clutch plate, the odometer reading was 102000 km.

There is a 2014 honda diesel city with 80k on odo for 3 lakh 20 thousands i am confused should i go with petrol engine or diesel ? there is no strict rules for diesel in my area are diesel engine of honda better than petrol ? and is 80k for a 2014 model normal ? or how do i check genuine kilometers run ?

I bought this and have driven till 18k kms now few points 1 - suspension is not what I expected it's gud. , but needs improvement 2 - steering feedback was much better in my ford 3- breaking as fasial said should have been better may be tyre upsize would help 4- headlights flicker ( top end led headlight) on rough roads and honda says there is no solution to it , it's manufacturing defect and honda doesn't own that. 4- fog light is useless no throw , zero visibility of fog lights ( led ) 5- mileage is gud iam getting 16 kmpl mix of highway and City 6- The engine is great , between 4500 and 6000 RPM it's great fun 7- built quality is gud , interiors quality is top notch 8- boot space is great 9 - ADAS works seamless and very usefull 10- 6 airbags and collision mitigation like features are very assuring Over all a few miss could have been avoided in the top model worth 17 lacs , like cooled glove box , adjustable hand rest , better quality hand rest at back , better door pocket space , could have given better quality headlights , thigh support in seats are not adequate

Honda City one of the most popular Sedan since decades. The new City looks very Modern & Luxurious. Refined Engine, Excellent Mileage, Spacious seating and Boot to keep luggage. I always say Honda Cars are trouble free even after 15 years/ 2,00,000 kms & Enjoys Good Resale Value.

Bro 2012 model petrol 2.75 kii theek hai ? 75000kms driven sahi hai? And ford aspire 2016 vii itne kii mil rahi top model ..... city mai sohc or aspite mai dohc hai usse farak padega performance and engine capacity bhi different hai yoh aspire kii mileage better milegii?

My experience is unbelievable, it was very smooth and sporty. Smooth controlling, good grip, easy to drive, its mileage is very good, and its features are amazing. I am very proud to honda.

Honda city manual. I love the Honda city in look, design, and power, and I like to drive the manual Honda City, so comfortable car mileage also best and Honda city have best features.

Been just over 4 months, adding my 2cents: Very driver friendly. I do an average 2,000km every 3 months or 8,000km a year. I have done 500km in a day, a you dont feel tired. Minimum body roll and the handling is top notch. City run mileage around 14kmpl and highway 18-19kmpl. CVT has been really helpful. And there is enough power on tap, even for quick overtakes. Sensing- Helps you keep lanes and highway cruise becomes super easy. If you are a sedate sensible driver, you will do 100kmph easy. Safety: Absolutely. So planted and 6airbags. Grouse: A mild hybrid would have made this car future proof for the next decade. But this is wishful thinking.

As per official Honda press release all engines since 2009 are E20 compatible but my personal experience since last couple if months is that there is 20% drop in fuel economy.. Engine parts will not suffer because of E20 compatibility but there is considerable drop in average.. I own 2015 SV CVT..

You are right, this car spoils your chance of upgrade pretty much. I have done 2.75 lakhs kms in my 2014 Honda city diesel and the car still returns 21+ kmpl on the highway. Comfort, drive quality, safety, space everything makes this car a GOAT. I don’t get all these in a single package at anything close to this price point. Honda did a great disservice by discontinuing the city diesel. If this engine was offered in the elevate that would have been a possible segment leader. Honda neither introduced the diesel nor its much superior hybrid in elevate. I always wondered what were they smoking, off late at Honda India.

I owned skoda Laura 2.0 TDI Manual 2012 model. Still its goes like rocket 🚀. Till today 2.25 lakh km driven, no any major issue faced. Still goes 200 km/hr n on highway while cruising 100-110 gives me 20+ mileage. Stability is next level on road. Fully comfortable Too. I always do regular periodic service at 15k km.

While trying to go for booking ZX variant of Honda City e:hev (Strong Hybrid) i have noticed that the rear wheel well cladding & front fender lining is missing .. immediately checked the test drive car ZX variant of Honda City Petrol and noticed that was also lacking rear wheel well cladding & front fender lining .. seems there was rubber kind of paint put in place of the fender lining. for me it seems to be a cost cutting measure.. My question here is : With these fender linings missing , has the Customer experienced any road noise entering into the cabin?

As a City CVT owner, city avg 9-12kmpl and its throttle is good in city driving but that acceleration is not as responsive because of CVT rubber band effect. The car is built to last and everything in it makes sense, if anyone is planning to buy I would recommend to just get the tyres swapped with 205/55 R16 the moment you buy it, and a good set of hella horns. Highway mileage is 18-20 kmpl and once you are in the rev range the acceleration is quite good. Service is not expensive either.

Really good review dear with so much prctical aspects.❤ I have amaze manual petrol and grand i10 sportz and I have owned Toyota camry 2.4 CVT and handa jazz 1.5CVT overseas and honda,s driving pleasure with honda manual and CVT both and maintenance andcservice cost is too very less.Trying to buy Honda city CVT in Jaipur may be this year or next year.Hybrid is bit too much cost for average city driving of 30 t0 40 k.m.per day and occassional highway driving.❤
