Wonderful driving experience on highway. The most smooth engine on a long drive with a good mileage best shock absorbers, and comfortable journey with the best boot space and overall looks are very attractive than any other SUV in this segment.

Toyota Hyryder Honest Review | Pros & Cons. Toyota Hyryder looks nice from outside. The design is modern and SUV-like. It looks good on the road. Inside the car, space is okay for a small family. Seats are comfortable, but not very soft. The dashboard is simple and easy to understand. Now the main problem is power. The engine has only 104 bhp, which feels less. When you press the accelerator, the car does not move fast. During overtaking or climbing, it feels weak. If you like powerful driving, this car may disappoint you. Mileage is also not very good in real use. In ads it shows high mileage, but in my hands, mileage is low, especially in city traffic. So fuel saving is not as good as expected. The car is smooth for slow and calm driving. Steering is light, so it is easy to drive in traffic. But it is not fun to drive.

Toyota Hyryder April 2024. The car is a pleasure to drive. This is my first automatic car and I'm loving the experience. Have driven over 1500 KM on highways and have not really missed manual transmission so far. The power and manoeuvre is really good. I recently had a chance to drive an automatic MG AstorI(my friend's car) and I prefer the Hyryder when it comes to driving and comfort. Really love the look of the car... certainly looks stunning. The interiors are also looking premium and have a decent lineup of features. Cons: The steering could have been better. It feels tight sometimes. The claimed fuel economy is 27 but I got only 22 so far after driving around 2500 KM. Headroom is a problem for those who are tall. Absolutely no problem for me (I'm 5'7\") and my family. Boot space is a compromise for this segment. Overall, loving every bit about my car and enjoying my ride.

Reliable and Efficient Compact SUV – Toyota Urban Cruiser 2014. I have been driving the Urban Cruise 2024 model for over a year now. One of the highlights of fuel efficiency. I consistently achieve around 20-22 kmpl, while in city conditions it delivers 14-16 kmpl. Urban Cruise is a compact yet robust build that exudes confidence. It is equipped with top-notch safety features, including ABS airbags and a solid braking system.

Not a good value for money. Poor product and Repair Service quality. Gearshift hard-striking while engaging, especially during upshift from 2nd to 3rd. Incab wind noise beyond 80kmph - wind noise from the LH top area of the codriver seat. Poor plastic quality - AC vents break even when the vehicle runs over potholes are high speeds, noise from doors while driving when small objects are kept in it due to vibration. Noisy combi switch operation - Hard and noisy operation, especially in the indicator and high beam lever. Slow pickup - overtaking is mostly not possible without downshift, the vehicle getting off when moved with the clutch engaged from static. Hard suspension - poor ride comfort in mild bumps, also. The volume button in the steering is not working sometimes. Poor 2nd row space for 3 members - 3 head rests given for name sake, only 2 members can sit comfortably.

Great mileage. Excellent buying experience with Pioneer Toyota, Chandigarh. Great drive. Drop dead good looking. Worth a buy. A great balance of amazing looks, mileage, comfort, safety, luxury, and a fabulous mongrel powertrain. Driven 3000kms +. Amazing mileage of 27+ in the city. Rocks in its segment. The care and warranty of Toyota are worth appreciating. Truly the future for the next 15 years.

True Urban Cruiser. The car is splendid design of automation, it is perfect for citys like New Delhi traffic and highway road trips. It gives comfort to every passenger and the stero is all to set the vibe of the car. And the car does not compromise any safety spec as it have very nice high beam and fog lamps, multiparking sensors.

I have owned a mild hybrid automatic since 2022. I find the comfort and suspension is very well tuned. The ride is great with good handling and also excellent braking. The drive is not as exciting but with paddle shifters in automatic you can really push it if you want to rush. Its quite a complete package for sensible drivers

Buying experience was good but waiting period was so much like 6 months, Driving experience was quite good suspension is nice doesn't not feel bumps ground clearance helps a lot in speed bumps and performance is perfect looks nothing to comment absolute beauty to watch I don't know why people are obsessed with creta for no reason no cons at all

Love at first sight. I started loving this car from the moment I took the test drive (which was a part of the process of evaluating several cars in the same segment). The external design of the car gives it a great dominating road presence. The car has an excellent road grip, and all features that you would desire for comfort, confidence and safety. Top it up with a seamless dealership service and a segment-leading mileage. It's a complete package and a complete value for money.

Grossly underpowered, Cheap materials, Regret.. At the show room where I purchased - Nippon Toyota Thiruvalla, Kerala, the sales people have a bad attitude (Take it or leave it) and on top of that gave false information about registration, insurance etc. The showroom seems to be just riding the Toyota fame, and runs this showroom like a government office. Coming to the car, It has poor pickup, and power for the size and weight. For this money you will be better of getting a diesel automatic, if you want the Mileage, Experience and the satisfaction of driving! This hybrid car will only give the regular Petrol car mileage - 13 KMPL, if you drive it as an enthusiast. To get a mileage > 20 KMPL, you need to be over-conscious and meticulous like a machine - gradual acceleration, slow braking for the regenerative action to kick-in, and drive this car below 80 KM/Hr at all times. I felt this car is grossly under-powered and lacks any punch. This car has a poor body shape. I bought it for the Mileage promise and family preference. The parts of this car feels like a cheap car, the cabin is noisy from the under-powered 3 cylinder engine, squeeky plastic parts - especially if your leg hits the middle partition - plastics. This feels a lot like a lower-end Maruti car. Not what you pay 25 Lakh Rupees. The service has been okay till now. But they keep increasing the part in weeks time and charge you the new rates! like its gold. Overall, the only Pro I find in this car is, it forces you to not commit any petty traffic violations - because you drive slow for the mileage, you can't overtake at will, and the safety rating is questionable. So if you want to pay a huge price to make yourself a disciplined driver, go buy it!

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder review. My 5th one. Had booked on launch day. And that was different as all my earlier ones which were already road tested. My car choices have majorly been inclined to a heart connect but I had researched whatever was available and taken feedback from a trusted insider. Did take a test drive before delivery though. 40 days old with me, clocked 2700km. Switched from my 7yo Hyundai Creta petrol which I absolutely loved, had kept in mint condition, but had to let go as the initial base ones didn't have adequate basic safety features, combined with increased servicing requirements and usage, wherein it was returning approx. 10km/l in NCR. And it was manual. Will not review the car on tech parameters but on simple usage and feel. Honestly, took time to start getting to like the Hyryder. As I ended up mentally comparing with my previous car in each and every aspect. Had some initial second thoughts about the punch, space, thin roof, steering wheel set-up, etc... My usage is majorly city centric with occasional out trips Doubts about the engine capability for my kind of usage fizzled out pretty soon, as I found it leaps like a frog if asked to, it easily climbed up a 35-40 degree dry earthen but rough bank pretty easily on Normal mode, not even on Power mode. Had taken couple of trips out, it clocks 100km/h easily and leaps to 120 and beyond if you punch it. Handled the hills pretty well as well, major climbing in normal mode. Feels as steady as the Creta in very high speeds. Am comforted by the safety features provided, something I did not have earlier. And it maneuvers like an auto, fitting into tight spaces coolly. I love the looks and its stance, its the same colour combination as my previous car (thanks to my kiddo). The height complements me :) Its turning heads at the moment, have seen only a couple of these more on the roads in over a month. The AC offers surprisingly fast cooling ( even in Oct mid). The 360 degree camera is a good aid to have. Host of displays feed me with lots of info. I have a daily route through one of the busiest patches in NCR and the driving comfort is amazing. And of course, my fuel expenses have reduced by 61%. Yes, it is returning 26km/l in eco mode. Toyota will surely look at the specific feedback coming all around and act upon them. For now I am enjoying my ride :)
