I had the Apache RTR 160 2v for 2.5 years. Everything else is fine, but I feel the handlebar is very heavy. When trying to make turns at slow speeds, the handlebar often pulls to the right or left. This feeling becomes even more noticeable when riding with a pillion.When turning the handlebar at high speeds, the rear tyre loses grip on the road because of the short wheelbase.
Mai 1 month hua hai rtr 160 dual channel Abs liya hai aur aap ne jo jo problem bola usse bhi jada problem mere bike mein aur long drive ke liye maine leke galti kardi . Maine ek din mein 517 km long drive kiya aur next 2 days rest lene pada dard ke liye. Aur sirf ek baat achi lagi mujhe long mein 54km/ per litre mileage diya. Baki sab kuch bekar hai please avoid .😢😢

the worst thing about tvs is they are not giving dual channel abs and assist slipper clutch in apache 180 2v with no new update but these two feature is available in apache 160 2v and getting update in 160 2v. 180 2v is only model in whole tvs apache series who is no available with mentioned feature in whole lineup.
this is where bajaj missed. they should have offered pulsar 180 and 220 with dual abs. also rtr 180 doesnt have w dual abs 😢. Why this aadha adhura ? why not just give a dual abs and complete the bike

After 8 years of use: vibration vibration vibration. Uncomfortable Poor braking. Third class braking. Poor mileage Not reliable engine. Not refined at all. Big NO for this bike.

As an owner who rode the bike for 6k km , My observations are: 1. It has got the best in class performance . Low range and mid range power is linear but at the high end it feels you are riding a 200cc bike.It can easily climb to 100 in no time compared to other bikes in the segment. 2. Engine is way refined than any other bike in the segment . Only slight buzz in the top end is felt . 3. Riding position is little on the sportier side , not totally upright riding posture due to lower handlebars .Footpegs are little higher than any other bike . But touring can be done with proper gloves .Cruising speed is around 80-85kmph. 3. Clutch is very light and good in traffic. 4. Gearbox is too soft and can be easily shifted . I sometimes come across false nuetrals but manageable. 5 . RTR 200 and 160 have different sounds. RTR 200 consist of very grunty sound in low rev as well as high revs. RTR 160 consist of sweet sound , but very sporty sound at high revs. 5. Seating comfort is average for both rider and pillion it's much better in 200. 6. Mileage : 43-45 in city .48-50 in highways. 7. Handling is best and light to maneuver. 8. Instrument console is best in class only missing side stand indicator. 9. Service interval is 3k km and service cost is around 800-1000Rs. 10. Top speed I have achieved is 115 kmph but I know people who clocked 120kmph easily . 11. Front suspension is soft good for Indian roads but rear suspension is stiff but good for cornering . Improvements I would suggest: slipper clutch , braking yet to improve, headlight illumination is poor. But overall I think it's the best bike in 160cc for city riding and short touring😊
Prowd owner. The handling of the bike is great. The power and performance can very well be experienced at 7k plus RPM. The fantastic part is once you hit 80 kmph you can glide to 115 kmph and still won't experience any difference in handling. The grip feels equally good. No additional vibrations. Steering equall stable. Awesome bike. Total value for money.
Bluetooth console is not a necessity radial tyres and side stand cut of sensor could be the best additional features safety wise also
