My Skoda Slavia Review. Mileage:On the highway, I easily achieve 14-16 km/l, which can stretch up to 18 km/l with a light foot. In heavy city traffic, it drops to around 10-12 km/l. Overall, it's highly respectable for a turbo-petrol.Performance:The engine is a gem. Despite its smaller displacement, it produces 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. The manual gearbox has short, slick throws, making gear changes effortless. There is a slight turbo lag below 1,500 RPM, but once the turbo spools up, overtaking on highways is a breeze.Comfort & Features:Ride quality is beautifully tuned for Indian roads, absorbing most potholes while remaining completely planted at speeds above 100 km/h. The cabin is spacious with well-bolstered seats, a massive 521-liter boot, and modern amenities like a responsive touchscreen and ventilated front seats on higher trims.Overall Experience:The build quality, safety rating, and driving dynamics make this car a joy to own. It offers a premium European sedan feel without breaking the bank.

Perfect Car For Performance And Mileage. I have driven this car 70,000 in 1.5 years, and it is the perfect car to feel the performance of a turbocharged car and the mileage of a naturally aspirated car. The interior looks very premium, the seats are good, the boot space is very large, and the ground clearance makes it easy to glide over bad roads. The exterior looks very sophisticated and clean.

Bought Slavia Monte Carlo 1.0 AT Using Its Been 3 Months...and It Just Feels Amazing. I Am A Volkswagen User From The Start,I Never Moved On From That 😄 .I Find The AC To Be Perfectly Fine & Storage Is Very Good. Ventilated Seats Are Awesome Plus,Does The Job Really Well. Engine Noise Is Very Sweet With A Roar After That Fantastic Accelerator "Click",Once You Drive A Volkswagen/Skoda You'll Find Every Thing Dull In Front Of These Machines. ❤️

Had my Virtus 1.5 for almost 2 years now and driven it for 25k kms, drives beautifully and is gem on the highway. In the city it's a breeze to maneuver thanks to it's sorted dynamics and light steering. Rear seat as you said could have had a better recline angle for longer drives. Virtus/ Slavia are great options for someone looking to change their Honda City, the rear seat though stiffer is very usable even for elders. Great video

Slavia Sportline Tornado Red (1 ltr) owner. Views below: Mileage- 6.5-7 in city. 13 on highways. Pros : smooth drive, even at 120 km/h and curves. Great boot space. Look is a show stopper. Passenger comfort. Drove 4 hours straight without any posture issue. Ground clearance. Cons : brake release sound. Auto start is abrupt and inconsistent. Left door rattling sound (even after getting it checked). Missing Rear glass wiper is a biggg pain. City mileage of 9-10 could’ve been great. Driver side window auto open close doesn’t work properly. Salespersons/showroom guys were big time cons.

Gorgeous Sedan. A great-looking car, turns heads (1.0l TSI AT, TC). The lava blue colour on the Slavia is what stands out. Compliments on the looks are now regular. Buying purchase was very pleasant, bought it from Safdarjung, New Delhi. Have driven it for 5500+km, no major issues (other than a puncture due to a loose screw). Servicing after the first year was also a breeze (Pick up and drop). Had no expenses since I had taken the 3-year service package. The 2-spoke steering wheel is my favourite. Gives you the freedom to hold the steering any way you want to! The steering wheel is also very light to steer, making it effortless. Boot space is humongous. Enough for a family of 4. AC feels fine, I have just left it at 22C. Ventilated seats are an advantage during humid conditions. Cons: This car is long. Won't fit in smaller spaces. In lower gears, turbo lag is significant, especially after braking.

A Sedan That Feels Premium, Drives Powerful, and Stays Reliable. This car delivers a premium and luxurious driving experience that often reminds people of high-end brands like BMW. Being a German-engineered vehicle, it reflects strong build quality, precise handling, and a refined design philosophy. The exterior looks elegant and sporty at the same time, while the interior feels well-crafted with high-quality materials, giving the cabin a true luxury feel in its segment. Under the hood, the 1.5-litre engine is one of the biggest highlights. It offers smooth power delivery, strong performance, and excellent reliability, making the car suitable for both city driving and long highway journeys. The engine is responsive yet efficient, providing a balanced combination of performance and fuel economy. Gear shifts are smooth, and overall driving comfort is impressive, even on rough Indian roads. The car also benefits from solid German engineering backed by Škoda and its parent company, the Volkswagen Group, which adds trust and long-term reliability. Advanced safety features, stable handling, and comfortable seating further enhance the ownership experience. Overall, this car is an excellent choice for buyers who want luxury, performance, and reliability in one stylish package, without stepping into the ultra-premium price range.

The Slavia looks stunning. Buying Experience The whole buying process was smooth. I went with the 1.0 TSI Style variant — felt like the best value for money. The dealership staff were chill, didn’t push too hard, and answered all my questions patiently. Delivery took around 3 weeks, and they even threw in some basic accessories. Financing was quick, too, no drama. Driving Experience This car is fun to drive. The 1.0 turbo petrol engine has enough punch for both city traffic and highway drives. Overtakes are easy, and the automatic gearbox (torque converter) is smooth, not jerky at all. It handles bumps well, and cornering feels confident. It’s not a sports car, but for daily use and weekend trips, it's solid. Design & Features The Slavia looks stunning — very sleek and premium. It's got that European vibe, and people notice it on the road. Inside, it’s well put together. You get a big 10-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, ventilated seats (a blessing in summer), and a digital instrument cluster. The boot is HUGE — seriously, you could fit luggage for a full family trip without stress. Mileage & Maintenance In the city, I’m getting around 13–14 km/l, and on highways it touches 17–18 km/l if I drive lightly. Maintenance-wise, Škoda has improved a lot. The service staff are more responsive now, and the service plan they offer helps keep costs predictable. No horror stories so far! Pros: Super stylish design Great to drive — especially on highways Loaded with features Solid build quality and safety Cons: No diesel option Touch AC controls can be annoying Slight turbo lag at very low speeds Rear headroom is a bit tight for tall folks.

Own a top end 2022 style variant. It always have been a good car however It has become a really good vfm product now especially with the sportline even the signature variant.. The Top end prestige doesn’t make too much sense now considering it has only few add ons like digital cockpit which certainly not a deal breaker leather seats which can be installed later from dealership as well and machine cut alloy wheels which are good but the black ones in sportline are cool too. The wireless charging pad and powered seats are features which are of course shouldn’t matter for most people. The only value add feature are the ventilated seats which again in my opinion are just okay in efficiency. Even the sportline 1.0 manual variant in 16 lakhs is a great product in the market if you love driving, want a beautiful looking car with a huge boot space and comfortable seats. The highway drives are just phenomenal and pure bliss. Even after 3 years of ownership most of the time after parking it I look back and stare at her and admire..

Amazing car to own - back seat is upright so we use the cushions which helps a little - tyre pressure 33 when travelling with 2 and 35 in the front and 38 in the back when fully loaded. Helps with better mileage and comfort as well - AC is a concern and it takes time to cool the cabin. Keep it at 22 and blow the air at max for sometime - we’ve been through a lot of road trips of about 2400 twice and 1800 twice and it does very well with the ground clearance - steering rack has issues and got it replaced recently under warranty - don’t go for the Slavia if you are concerned about mileage. Have driven in bumper to bumper traffic at 4kms per ltr and have also achieved 20 on roads with less traffic - Amazing driving experience and high speed stability when fully loaded - TIP for mileage is to drive the car without AC on until you achieve a 10 min. If you start the car with the AC in tight traffic it will drink the fuel like a 10 inch pipe

Regarding the GC i have a question. So i owned a honda jazz previously. I have shifted to the creta 2025 model now and main reaspn for it was the GC and the overall experience of it. I now want to get a sedan and thinking of the slavia/virtus. Is the GC on slavia effective on our speed breakers. With all seats occupied and a little luggage in the boot, will it touch or is it really that good GC for a sedan. Please tell

Pranay, absolutely delightful to watch a video which is out of CC hack zone 😂. You explained every single point nicely, but I want to highlight one thing, as many customers dont have ventilated seats model, not just this car but all Skoda and VW cars under 20l have weak AC (not meant for Indian climate).

Great performance, needs to add more features to the base variant. 1. Driving Experience: This car drives like a sports car. The moment you revv the car, you see how powerful and refined the engine is. The pick-up is quick and you feel how good it is when you need to overtake or accelerate after a traffic jam. It’s almost instantaneous. I drove the 1.0-litre mid variant and it didn’t feel like a 1.0-litre engine at all, it was more powerful than competitors like Verna and Honda City. 2. Looks: The car’s exteriors look extremely premium and pose a striking resemblance to the BMW gran coupe m sport, especially the lava blue variant. The dual-tone interior also feels posh and the plastics don’t look cheap. Glossy finishes here and there around the cabin make the car look good. However, competitors like Verna are now offering LED profile lights near the dashboard which replicate the look of luxury cars, and can be a feature Skoda can add in the upcoming facelift in 2025. 3. Comfort and safety: The cabin is very spacious and can easily seat 5 people. The seats are well cushioned and you feel how important it is over longer drives. There are no cabin noises, apart from the AC, which is quite noisy and ineffective for the Indian summers. Competitors like Verna, Honda City and Ciaz are offering ventilated seats, front and rear armrests and rear AC vents from the base variants itself now which is a feature Skoda can add in upcoming base variants. The car feels very safe, the built quality feels sturdy and the suspension is amazing. It also enjoys a 5-star NCAP rating so safety is guaranteed. 4. Pricing and features: The base variant of the car, although lucratively priced, has nearly no features compared to competitors (rear AC vents, armrests) and even lacks critical safety features such as hill hold assist, and rear parking camera. For someone looking to have a hill hold assist and rear parking camera, they will have to shell out an extra 3-4 lacs because the next variant is pretty expensive. Skoda should come up with a value/comfort variant with an ESP around 11.69 lacs (between the base and mid) that offers these safety and comfort features: rear parking camera, rear AC vents, front armrest, hill hold assist, brake assist, ventilated seats. This would cater well to buyers that have a budget of 12-13 lacs, since not everyone can afford a mid variant at 15 lacs and not everyone wants alloy wheels for a premium of 3 lacs. 5. Maintenance: Expect a maintenance fee of around 8-10k per service, although the service experience is good and reliable. The car may run into issues with the AC and brake paddles (depending on your driving). But regular maintenance will avoid any major expenses/surprises. Pros and cons: Pros: All in all Slavia is a very promising car, with killer looks and a peppy engine. Cons: Some work on introducing critical features in the base variant and introducing a variant between the base and the mid variant that at least offers what competitors are offering right from the base variant would really make too good a car to ignore. Fuel efficiency, AC inefficiency, expensive parts and maintenance are some other sore points.

Best handling sedan under budget. Amazing sedan and the handling of the vehicle is so amazing, i love it, the exterior of the car is so stylish and premium. The car has 6 airbags, which are very good for safety, and the boot space is also very good, and the ground clearance is also very good. In my opinion, this vehicle is proper perfect sedan for a middle-class family.

I own a Slavia 1.5 Monte Carlo in Tornado Red, and honestly, it’s an absolute joy on the road. The car is a proper driver’s machine — that 1.5 TSI engine leaves pretty much every other car under ₹30L in the rear-view mirror. It’s quick, refined, and makes every drive something to look forward to. The car is incredibly stable even at speeds above 150 kmph and maxes out at 205 :P In terms of mileage, I get about 8–12 km/l in the city (with a gentle foot) and around 16–18 km/l on highways, which is respectable for the performance on offer. The comfort is unmatched in this segment — spacious, supportive seats and suspension tuned just right for both city commutes and long hauls. The music system deserves a special mention — it’s simply phenomenal. No distortion even at higher speeds, making road trips even more enjoyable. Build quality is classic Skoda — solid, confidence-inspiring, and truly “built like a tank.” It isn’t without a few shortcomings though. The reverse camera is quite poor, especially in low light, and the headlights could definitely have been brighter for better night visibility. But apart from these minor gripes, the car feels extremely well-rounded. If you’re looking for a sedan that blends performance, comfort, and solid build, the Slavia 1.5 is hard to beat.
