The perfect ride for city rides with some catch. I love most of the things it offers at this budget; the ride comfort, fit and finish,the cabin space and so on. Initially i was about to go for fronx or punch as most of the comparative videos and reviewers suggest, but the coupe design of fronx gave it off (limited cargo) and then the after-sales service of tata (lagging behind in competition). So exter was the most rounded option (4 cylinder 1.2 l engine, compact dimension not so big not so small just the right size for my liking ) Then the facelift was announced and loo the new exteriors/interior got more good looking with just some changes here and there . Especially the driver's side armrest and sporty spoiler. Riding with 5 onboard is quite comfortable(4 adult 1 child) but it feels slightly delayed accelerating as compared to fronx and puch in same conditions (i have tested on these two also; with fronx being turbo one), and again exters overalls like least cabin noise , space and comfort felt better among the three . So i opted for exter. And here comes the not-so-good part Watered down the top manual transmission variant (previously sx and sxo had a manual option, but now a new nomenclature has been introduced, striped hx8 from some features that i was keen on having in a top manual variant) 1 buildt in gps navigation 2 dual dashcam front & cabin recording( only front recording in my hx8 manual) 3 adaptive guidelines in reversing mode and drvm button 4 soft close roof grab handles All these were present in last year's SX/sxo manual transmission, but it got pulled back to the HX10 only which amt only varient sadly. And one more nitpick would be a missing sunglass holder at the roof. Recently completed 500kms with my exterior HX8, and its a fun to ride car.

I have aslo Hyudai Exter dual cng ..purchased on dec 24…on road 9 lakh..before gst😢..till date run 24,000km Positive-best car in this segment,silent cabin,premium feel,best avg on cng 28-29km on highway,20-22 on city,after sales service best he.. Nagative- That time spare wheel not porovided in dual cng car..now available Poor suspension compare to Tata punch Poor lights,sound quality also poor.. Tyre size you can’t upgrade 16-17 inch nahi laga sakte he…lag jati he clider ko.. Highway pe overtaking thoda confidence kam ata he… But still I’m going with Exter …because this car give me confidence on highway 150+ drive some time…braking shandar he..rear seat perfect for 6+ Hight persons …

Super Sub Suv Car. It is a great car in a low budget, this car is completely comfortable. I have been driving this car for the last 6 months and till now I have not faced any problem, Its a very good car, I give this car 5 stars. The rear seats are very comfortable for family, very good car among sub suv cars.

Economicaly Best Car. Its a suitable car for those who is taking car for the first time and its best car in this price range and offers excellent power and safety and I will surely recommend this car for a nuclear family although 5 person can easily seat there and it offers a decent mileage and best for local use and its specs are just awesome.

Bro I'm buying hx3 cng in my budget , please suggest real problems , i noticed 1 thing (rear seat height is very low , i couldn't see outside properly?? Is this a problem with that ?? (I own eon rn)

Best choice. The Hyundai Exter offered a smooth and comfortable driving experience. I found the steering light and easy to handle, especially in city traffic. The car has good visibility, comfortable seating, and responsive brakes. The compact size makes it easy to drive and park, while the ride quality felt stable and comfortable over regular roads. Overall, it was a pleasant and confidence-inspiring drive.

As an owner of the Exter with nearly 5000 km running , here are my observations 1. Suspension is too soft. Whenever the car passes over a pit at high speed, the resulting crash makes me think that the suspension system has broken down. 2. Its tyres are a bit too thin 3. Its spare wheel is smaller than the car wheels 4. Its fuel consumption is slightly on the higher side 5. Its music system is average 6. No charging pods in the rear 7. Its features are simply awesome 8. Its back seats are more comfortable than the front. 9. It has the smoothest engine I have ever seen 10. Its AMT, paddle shifters, hill assist, all the controls on the dashboard are superb 11. Headlamps are poor. Overall, a fine family car for a relaxed driving experience

Best Value Compact SUV for Daily Use. I have been driving the Hyundai Exter for a while and am very satisfied with it. Limitation - rear seats should have been 40 60 though boot space is good but if two people are travelling and need more space to place some stuff in back seat 60/40 would have helped Also the car is not very punchy, basic power only !!

I've been driving the Exter SX(O) for the last six months , around 5,000 kilometers on both highways and city roads. Pros: * The car's size makes it perfect for crowded streets and narrow roads. * The build quality is quite good. * The engine is very quiet. * I've managed to get a maximum mileage of 25 km/L on petrol in manual , but the average is between 14 and 20 km/L. * It's a very basic car, ideal for everyday use. Cons: * The headlights aren't bright enough. * It's definitely not an SUV. It's a crossover hatchback. * The suspension feels very uncomfortable on long drives, especially for rear seat passengers.

Same i have exter sx cng - for first car owner - 4 cylinder engine - 32 average on highway and city 22-24 - sunroof - fit and finish - under 10lac - ground cleanse - smooth gearbox and clutch Cons - Smaller than fronx in same. Price Petrol mileage very low Little expensive servicing No boot space - gen 1 cng fitting

Good video .Very quality and upto the point review . I bought a exter knight model last month after seeing your videos .now the new models of 2026 does have arm rest and the wireless android via dongel which they provide now in car . The inward seat is still there amd only major negative for me but i purchased pillows to counter that.

With my budget, i was able to get kia sonet htk(o), but still i went with exter sx(o). Kia htk(o) Pros (comparing with exter): 1. Look wise kia looks big and bold. 2. Slightly have a better ground clearance 190mm 3. Better leg room 4. Has a Wireless Android auto. 5. Width wise slightly better than exter. Kia htk(o) Cons : 1. In rear seat even it has a better legroom and should room, its not comfortable for 3 people as it lacks thigh support, (even for long drive with 2 people not comfortable because of less thigh support). 2. Feature wise it lacks as compared with exter at this price point segment. Exter sx(o) pros : 1. Feature wise its the best car which offers TPMS, Cruise Control, Wireless charging, push start button, complete digital cluster, alloy wheels, foldable ORVM. 2. In rear seat it has good thigh support which enhance the ride quality for the rear passenger. Exter Sx(o) Cons : 1. Arm rest is not available (can be done after market or online). 2. Comfortable for 4 members. With the budget of 10 lakh this is a best car in terms of comfortable and feature wise.

Go for fronx as seat comfort is most important in any car... As i bought exter from the very starting facing issues with seating comfort tried lumber support neck support pillow also highlighted to Dealer Downtown Anand Gujarat, but they said we can't do anything in that case now just 1 month old car they are giving me 8 lacs it is most terrible experience with hyundai till date...

My First Dream Car. If I have to buy a small family car, something easy to drive around the city, decent features, good mileage, doesn't feel cheap, the Exter would be my first choice, what I really like about this car is how compact it feels when i'm sitting in the driver's seat, but i still get a good amount of room inside.

Features Of Car. The overlook of car is nice but lacks safety features. it has nice design in the price range. Also it has five seat capacity which provide budget friendly for middle class family of five. It has good ground clearance which make it perfect for village or earthed roads or humps on the road. It has better boot space, overal great car.

Smooth drive, premium and comfortable cabin experience.. I took a test drive from the nearby Hyundai showroom. The drive was smooth, the cabin is super silent, zero vibrations and suspensions are super comfortable, space management is surprisingly good. When I first saw the car, I thought the space would be compromised, but surprisingly, the rear seat space is even better than that of the car above its segment.

Best Car In This Price. I have the SX optional model and it's the best car I've driven...only thing I've noticed is seats cushions are not same as when i bought 1 year ago..maybe it's time for seat covers
