Could have been much better, but Mahindra wants to sell Roxx too. Car is not available in many showrooms yet, I had to drive few hours to another showroom in another city, you cannot book a test drive, yet Mahindra opens bookings. Here’s what’s the problem with this thar OG, PLASTIC ROOF, weak A & B pillars, thin metal in the doors, mostly plastic body, cheap plastic used in the doors, speakers sound like toy piano (in the top ZXT variant) , funny quality of the reverse camera, trust me if you see the camera of a cheapest Tata car in price, Tiago mid model, the difference is cheapest android phone camera vs latest iPhone. And the annoying one, wired apple CarPlay. Slightly long clutch travel, uncomfortable reverse gear applying mechanism. Here’s what’s I liked about thar OG, 19’ MRF AT tyres in ZXT, that was a great selection of the tyres, leatherette seats & rear seats are actually comfortable now. Front looks a lot better now.

What a shit 3 cons have you mentioned for name sake😂, Seat up right have you opened the boot and checked the lever 😂😂. Idk if mahindra have fixed the carplay wireless issue but those are real thar problems shd be addressed and you could have said about a 360 camera 🤷‍♂️

Best Car Ever. It's the best car ever i have seen of mahindra, It has very powerful engine of 1500cc and the car has an amazing ground clearance. The features of the new thar facelift are also very good and useful which makes the car more better. The mileage in such s big suv is also very good, I would recommend everyone to buy this car.

Han yeh chz agreed krta hu carplay bhi auto cut mar jata hai display bhi ek dum se bnd hoke chlta hai kahina khii engine bhi thoda sa kamm feel hota hai lekin han alinement ho jati hai thik bhilkul zero zero steering wheel bhi ho jata hai zero end of the convo mai yeh bolunga is gaadi jesi gadi is range mai koi aur hai hi nhi lekin agr koi lera to 4x4 leke 2 dhai lakh zyada lgakrr because 2.2L pickup zyada hai and it feels better even when we aren’t in 4x4 gear jus about engine, m 4x2 owner and i love it..

Bro I also have the thar ROXX but the mx5 variant the lower one from the top model and it misses basic features such as wireless charger ventilated seats etc so no doubt this is a great car but only if you buy the top model I paid 20 lakhs for this and still miss features like this, I now think that I should've bought the facelifted kia seltos.

Hey, This is apt. I also have thar roxx white, drove it 20k Kms. The automatic petrol is just amazing, driving is great. My windshield also broke within 10k kms maybe bcz of how flat the screen is. For the lock issue in truck get a snack tray from mahindra, its useful and never gets the lock stuck i did not face this ever. And for engine wind noise reduction: get damping done on hood and all doors and get a bug deflector installed it will make it way better

Overall car is good and all features are very useful and the looks are awesome and best for youth as the sitting position of that og is very good and talking about the cardekho app it is very beneficial and whenever I wanted to collect the information of car my first stop always is CarDekho and it is best app.

Best Car Under 20 Lakhs. All over nice car for offroad with diesel engine options and great service and great drive with carplay and android auto and having differential lock a very good feature and with great mahindra's service i also have the top model 2026 all over the best car for family and young drivers must buy this.

Not A Car , Its Mondtar. This car is so beautiful and luxury, best price and best features, mostly young genaration loved this car, On road off road all in one car, most beautiful car Is thar, boys dream car Is Thar, best mileage car in this genaration, This car has multiple features, and Thar is Indian best car for offroading.

Upgradation. Good road presence, all but only feature i miss in this is sunroof. Roxx with sunroff is good but, i like compact design of 3 door. If 3 door comes with sunroof this could be a game changer. Also the interior option must be widen as a thar lover, I have to modify the interior for better feel, if company give option like colour and textures, this could be great.

Good Performance. The mahindra thar is one of the india's popular off roads SUV. Its bold and iconic design made strong road presence. Excellent off road capability in 4/4 drive with low range gearbox. Its machanical locking is different and high water wading capacity. Its 2nd generation touchscreen system is good.

I am also Thar Roxx owner, when we were purchasing a SUV my dad wanted me to buy XUV 700, i did not. He told me to go for Scorpio N this is in early December. Scorpio N is better ride comfort 19-20 ka mamla hai. Scorpio N did not have panaromic sunroof,the infotaintment screen was 8 inches. But overall the car was very good. Paying 20-22 lacs we went for Thar Roxx & i am happy.

Nice And Excellent. Overall a nice one in this budget it is very nice one in affordable a royal look and a bulky one and it has rwd and much useful features for us on the way and the sound system is also very good and the inside screen also very good quality and we must experience it and it's off-roading is next level.

The buying process was smooth, with helpful staff explaining all features in detail. The first drive itself gave a feeling of pure power and confidence — the engine roar, road presence, and high seating position make every trip special. It performs exceptionally well both in city traffic and rough terrain. The black colour looks premium but requires frequent cleaning to maintain its shine. Interiors are practical and comfortable, though the rear seats are slightly cramped. Mileage is decent for its segment, and performance is solid. Servicing has been professional and timely, with reasonable costs. It has Bold looks, a strong build, great off-road ability, powerful engine. The only cons are Limited boot space, average mileage, hard ride on rough roads. Regular servicing, underbody cleaning after off-road in, tyre rotation, and waxing to preserve the black shine. Overall, the Mahindra Thar is a perfect mix of adventure and style for those who love to stand out!

It was very good car with nice features and mileage is also good. It was perfect for adventures and the colour was too good we have seen different types of colours and the steering also very soft, we can easily drive, perfect switch for travellers, because it was very soft driving and climbing hills.
