My Skoda Slavia Review. Mileage:On the highway, I easily achieve 14-16 km/l, which can stretch up to 18 km/l with a light foot. In heavy city traffic, it drops to around 10-12 km/l. Overall, it's highly respectable for a turbo-petrol.Performance:The engine is a gem. Despite its smaller displacement, it produces 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. The manual gearbox has short, slick throws, making gear changes effortless. There is a slight turbo lag below 1,500 RPM, but once the turbo spools up, overtaking on highways is a breeze.Comfort & Features:Ride quality is beautifully tuned for Indian roads, absorbing most potholes while remaining completely planted at speeds above 100 km/h. The cabin is spacious with well-bolstered seats, a massive 521-liter boot, and modern amenities like a responsive touchscreen and ventilated front seats on higher trims.Overall Experience:The build quality, safety rating, and driving dynamics make this car a joy to own. It offers a premium European sedan feel without breaking the bank.

Beast under 20 lakhs... Beast under 20 lakhs....Mark my words...sedan are becoming rare...and I am huge fan of Octavia and was planning to buy it but this as u can see 20 lakhs import tax which makes it to 50 lakhs plus to get a car which was price 28-30 lakhs .. After the minute improvement which in totality lead to an major upgrade, basically the UV glasses, massage seats on rear no car gives it. DCT automatic gear shifting has become smoother. Mileage has improved a lot too .. but depends on the driver. If u keep it below 2200-2400 rpm...it will give 18-19 kmpl on highway .u can drive at 100km/hr, and it runs easily with the rpm around 2100-2200...so less rpm less engine load, better fuel efficiency and all...Only drawback is you can't tilt the rear sits backwards to seat like the way sleep in spa or something...so it's fixed but it can be titled forward to get enough space to get you going by loading as much as you want... Still German cars if maintained and handled well, you are gonna Enjoy this beast for even more than 8-10 years....choose 1.5 lt if u wanna use it for cruising 150 180+ choose 1.0 lt engine if u are a city person and wanna drive max 100-120-130.... AC has been improved.. front touch display has become smoother , comes with e sim... better 360 camera but no ADAS man you don't need Adas just go for it....

My First Impressions of the Skoda Slavia (Under 500 km). As a brand new owner, having driven my Skoda Slavia for just under 500 km, my impressions are overwhelmingly positive. This is more of an initial 'first drive' report than a long-term review, but the experience so far has been nothing short of exceptional. Design & Road Presence: The Slavia is truly a head-turner. The design is classic Skoda—elegant, sharp, and distinctly European. It looks premium and substantial, easily commanding attention on the road. The detailing, from the signature grille to the crisp lines, feels well-executed and gives the car an expensive look that belies its price segment. Driving Dynamics (First 500 km): The initial driving experience has been incredibly smooth and the engine TSI is responsive, and the short-distance city driving has been effortless. Even while taking it easy during the running-in period, the car feels punchy and eager. The steering is light at low speeds, making city parking easy, but promises to weigh up nicely for highway stability (which I look forward to testing soon). The ride comfort over minor bumps has been surprisingly good for a sedan. Interiors & Comfort: Inside, the cabin is spacious and feels airy. The build quality and fit-and-finish are excellent—everything feels solid and well put together. The seating comfort, both in the front and back, is commendable. The features like the intuitive infotainment system and the sheer amount of boot space are already proving to be extremely practical. Early Verdict: The Skoda Slavia has delivered on its promise of being a stylish, safe (backed by its 5-star safety rating), and enjoyable sedan. It offers a great blend of performance (even in its initial phase), luxury feel, and practicality. If your priority is a classy, fun-to-drive sedan that feels premium every time you step in, the Slavia is a brilliant choice. I am thoroughly impressed with my initial ownership experience and look forward to many more kilometers!

Light on packet but performance is great. The model I drove is the base model It actually didn't feel like a base model in terms of finishing The engine, which I thought would be underpowered as it is a 1.0 unit running a car that weighs over a ton, wouldn't do great but as soon as I got to drive the car, it completely changed my thoughts The car is very good and balanced in terms of all The only drawback is service and maintenance in the long run Manual wouldn't cause much of a problem but automatics not sure

Pros and cons. It's a fantastic car and I have bought it in silver it's Totally a silver beauty speakers are also beast, with a luxurious interior it's ride comfort is insane but it's mileage is very low, I get only 6 kmpl max some times it comes 1.5 also but I think that it may increase after 1st service, I usually take more interest in cars, and I was highly obsessed with this under a price option of 17 lakhs, it has many benefits like it's ground clearance which also a good option for bad road in conclusion I just want to say that if you are a car enthusiast you should prefer this German engineering in this budget.

Best handling on Indian highways ( rough patches). Just took my Skoda Slavia on a sweet long drive, and wow, the mileage is seriously impressive! I'm getting a solid 15-19 kmpl, which is fantastic for keeping the road trip going without constant fuel stops. It handled all the curves and stretches like a champ, making the journey super comfortable. If you're planning a long drive, this car is a serious contender for sure!

Balanced performance with premium feel. I purchased the Skoda Slavia as a new car, and the overall experience has been positive. The car looks premium and stands out on the road. Driving is smooth, the steering feels confident, and the engine performance is strong both in city and highway conditions. The cabin is comfortable with good space and features. Mileage is decent if driven calmly. Service experience has been satisfactory so far, though maintenance costs can be slightly higher than some rivals. Pros: solid build, great driving dynamics, comfortable ride. Cons: slightly stiff suspension on rough roads. Overall, a value-for-money sedan for enthusiasts.

Leading the \"Bring back the sedan movement !\". Drove the Slavia on some bad inner roads late at night. I haven't driven a sedan in God knows how long as I was never interested in sedans after getting a Thar. All test drives I had done since then were only SUVs or hatchbacks or EVs. It was quite easy to get comfortable and drive. It was the 1.5 DSG variant with paddle shifters - I didn't use the paddle shifters though as I didn't have time to get used to them. Took some time to get used to the sharp biting brakes and this was annoying until I got used to it. Power and performance was more than enough and I was a passenger in the Slavia on a highway run with a wanna be race driver, driving and trying to squeeze very ounce of power from the Skoda. As soon as we got on the highway manual mode was engaged and then the car took off, heeding the instructions of the driver revving hard in all gears with the paddle shifters being used to the max. I was holding on for dear life as he was swerving and weaving in and out of slow moving vehicles that covered all 3 lanes. A distance of around 50 km was done in a little over 40 minutes with speeds easily touching 100 plus. I had wanted to take photos and videos but realized rapidly (see what I did there) that I had better use my hands to hold on to the passenger side handle and use my legs to brace myself. It was a wild ride for a person who hasn't driven a sedan in a long long time it was a great experience to see a powerful sedan being driven well. I was reminded of why sedans were and still are quite popular among those who love to drive long distances as the stability and cornering capabilities are something that SUV drivers cannot even dream about. Overall I liked the car and the power the 1.5 provides. I like the looks of the Virtus more than the Slavia but that is just a personal opinion. There are more Slavias sold than the Virtus and that should give an idea of how popular it is. Definitely a powerful, safe and well featured sedan that brings a smile to ones face.

Amazing car to own - back seat is upright so we use the cushions which helps a little - tyre pressure 33 when travelling with 2 and 35 in the front and 38 in the back when fully loaded. Helps with better mileage and comfort as well - AC is a concern and it takes time to cool the cabin. Keep it at 22 and blow the air at max for sometime - we’ve been through a lot of road trips of about 2400 twice and 1800 twice and it does very well with the ground clearance - steering rack has issues and got it replaced recently under warranty - don’t go for the Slavia if you are concerned about mileage. Have driven in bumper to bumper traffic at 4kms per ltr and have also achieved 20 on roads with less traffic - Amazing driving experience and high speed stability when fully loaded - TIP for mileage is to drive the car without AC on until you achieve a 10 min. If you start the car with the AC in tight traffic it will drink the fuel like a 10 inch pipe

When comparing any Turbo engine TSI/GDI with a NA (Naturally Aspirated) engine, the "life" or longevity of the engine is often a tug-of-war between modern efficiency and old-school simplicity. While both are designed to last well over 150,000 to 200,000 km with proper care, their aging processes differ significantly. Longevity & Reliability: NA (The Marathon Runner): Generally considered more reliable for the "long haul" (15+ years). Because it lacks a turbocharger, it operates at lower internal pressures and temperatures. There are fewer moving parts to fail, and it isn't "stressed" to produce power.  Turbo TSI/GDI (The Sprinter): These are highly engineered to be "power-dense." While modern TSIs use forged internals and polymer coatings to handle the extra stress, the turbocharger itself is a wear-and-tear item that may need replacement or repair around the 1.2 to 1.5 lakh km mark.

Best in segment. The Skoda Slavia is one of the most well-rounded sedans in the mid-size segment, offering a premium yet practical package for Indian buyers. Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, it carries forward Škoda’s signature European design language, with sharp lines, a bold grille, and sleek LED headlamps that give it an elegant yet sporty stance. The Slavia looks bigger and more upmarket compared to many of its rivals, which is a strong advantage in a market where road presence matters. Inside, the cabin feels modern and spacious, with ample legroom and headroom for both front and rear passengers. The dashboard layout is clean, highlighted by a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The quality of materials feels solid, and Skoda has managed to strike a good balance between comfort and functionality. Under the hood, the Slavia comes with two petrol engine options – the 1.0 TSI and the more powerful 1.5 TSI with active cylinder technology. Both engines are refined and punchy, making city commutes as well as highway drives enjoyable. The ride quality is tuned well for Indian roads, offering stability at higher speeds and comfort over bumps. Overall, the Skoda Slavia is a strong contender in its class, combining premium design, solid performance, and European build quality. It is an excellent choice for those who want a sedan that feels a class above without entering the luxury segment.

Lovely car. The Skoda Slavia has firmly established itself as a top choice for those who still value the elegance of a sedan but live in a world of \"SUV-sized\" potholes. In 2026, it remains a strong contender, balancing European driving dynamics with practical Indian road requirements.

A Sedan That Feels Premium, Drives Powerful, and Stays Reliable. This car delivers a premium and luxurious driving experience that often reminds people of high-end brands like BMW. Being a German-engineered vehicle, it reflects strong build quality, precise handling, and a refined design philosophy. The exterior looks elegant and sporty at the same time, while the interior feels well-crafted with high-quality materials, giving the cabin a true luxury feel in its segment. Under the hood, the 1.5-litre engine is one of the biggest highlights. It offers smooth power delivery, strong performance, and excellent reliability, making the car suitable for both city driving and long highway journeys. The engine is responsive yet efficient, providing a balanced combination of performance and fuel economy. Gear shifts are smooth, and overall driving comfort is impressive, even on rough Indian roads. The car also benefits from solid German engineering backed by Škoda and its parent company, the Volkswagen Group, which adds trust and long-term reliability. Advanced safety features, stable handling, and comfortable seating further enhance the ownership experience. Overall, this car is an excellent choice for buyers who want luxury, performance, and reliability in one stylish package, without stepping into the ultra-premium price range.

Premium, Safe & Adventure Ready. It’s been a year with my Skoda Slavia Sportline, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. The car feels premium inside out — the cabin has a true luxury feel, and build quality is solid, giving me complete peace of mind when traveling with family. Safety has always been a top priority for me, and the Slavia delivers perfectly in that aspect. One of the biggest surprises was the ground clearance. I did a Ladakh road trip with it, and not even once did the underbody scrape the road — that says a lot about how capable and practical it is for Indian conditions. On highways, the stability and comfort are outstanding, while in the city it feels smooth and refined. If you’re looking for a sedan that combines premium design, solid safety, and real-world practicality, the Slavia Sportline is a fantastic choice.

Comfortable, Powerful & Practical Sedan. I have been using the Skoda Slavia for some time now and overall the experience has been very satisfying. The car looks premium and modern, especially from the front and side profile. Engine performance is one of the biggest highlights it feels smooth in city driving and very confident on highways. Steering response is sharp and handling is excellent at high speeds. Suspension setup is well balanced and absorbs most road bumps comfortably. Interior quality is good and the cabin feels spacious, especially for front passengers. Mileage is decent for a petrol sedan if driven calmly. Safety features and build quality give confidence. Service cost can be slightly on the higher side, but the driving pleasure makes up for it. Overall, Skoda Slavia is a great choice for those who love driving and want a stylish, safe sedan.

I got a kushaq 1.5 monte Carlo last year and the wireless charger thing is prolly resolved cuz I haven't gotten any such problems, also i think you do get wireless Android auto cuz I have it in mine but yeah it is glitchy. About the AC it's gotten way better now I assume cuz it gets quite freezing in the car really quite even if it's around 38° outside. Overall love the car tho especially the way it squats down while driving fast and handles corners quite accurately, it goes exactly were you want it to go, ofc the increase in weight of the steering at higher speeds really helps with this, while it gets light at slow speeds. Overall amazing car couldn't ask for anything better.(Ps. Last car I used to drive around was my dad's 2012 i20.

I am extremely disappointed after buying Slavia, signature variant this May' 2026. The front right suspension gives out tension extension noise while while hitting the seperator between the 2 slabs in the bridge. The service centre has no clue of the noise which I discovered on the day of the delivery of the car.

Been driving my slavia for over 2 years. Done 77000kms. The bumpers are really strong, got hit from behind by Alto and Nexon but the bumper still same as new. Front bumpers too took strong hits(my fault) on deep potholes but it didn't deform. Mileage is subjective but if you want to extract mileage you can get similar to wagonr which is really impressive.
