A very nice review. Those who want to buy meteor 350, can buy it without a second thought I owned my meteor since December 2023 and rode 22000 kms. On highways you ride it with confidence because it has a great balance, and a very good contact with the ground surface due to its large and thick wheels reduces the chances of slippage during sudden braking. Just cruise it at 60 km/hr speed and enjoy the ride. For me the mileage varies between 38-42 km/litre. Usually i got 42.

I bought this bike around a year ago, and my main purpose was touring. So, here is my review after riding it for 12,000+ km. I have also done multiple 1,000+ km rides on this bike. - Mileage: I used to get around 35–40 kmpl, but after E20 fuel, it has dropped to around 30–35 kmpl. I believe this is still not bad. - Engine Heating: I have ridden this bike in June, for an entire day, and I never faced any overheating issues. The engine does get noticeably hotter when riding in heavy traffic, but on the highway, I have had no issues with overheating. - Headlight: If you want to use this bike for touring, you definitely need additional lights. The stock headlight is so bad that I don't feel comfortable riding on highways at night. - Seat: The rider seat is comfortable, but the pillion seat is quite bad. I installed an additional seat above the existing seat, which makes it much more comfortable. The best part is that I can easily install and remove it whenever needed. - Suspension: The suspension is probably the worst part of this bike. Calling it a suspension feels like a joke. 😂 It feels like you're sitting on a piece of hard iron, especially on bad roads. I eventually replaced it with Nitrox suspension, and the ride quality improved significantly. - Ground clearance: The ground clearance is low, so the bike sometimes hits speed breakers, especially when riding with a pillion or luggage. - Cruising: You can easily cruise at around 100 km/h on this bike. The brakes are also above average and give me enough confidence during touring. - Monsoon: During the monsoon, you absolutely need to install a mudguard with some jugaad. Otherwise, your clothes and your pillion's clothes and bike will get completely ruined. Unfortunately, a proper mudguard for this bike isn't available in the market. - Reliability: Touchwood, so far nothing has broken on my bike. I have only had to replace the brake pads once, and they will probably need to be replaced again soon. - Chain: The biggest issue I've faced is the chain. It gets loose very frequently. On long rides, I have to stop every 200–250 km just to tighten the chain, which can be quite annoying. Overall, after 12,000+ km and multiple 1,000+ km rides, these are my experiences with the bike. It's not perfect, but for touring, I have had a pretty good experience with it after making a few modifications.

Excellent riding comfort and stylish design. Highly recommended. I recently purchased this bike, and after riding it for a few weeks, I can confidently say that it has exceeded my expectations in almost every aspect. The first thing that impressed me was its stylish and modern design. The bike has a premium look that easily grabs attention on the road. The build quality feels strong and durable, which gives confidence while riding on both city roads and highways. Talking about performance , the engine is very smooth and responsive. The pickup is excellent, and the bike accelerates effortlessly even with a pillion rider. Gear shifting is smooth, and the clutch operation is light, making it comfortable for daily commuting. One of the best things about this bike is its fuel efficiency. Despite offering strong performance , it still delivers very good mileage, which makes it economical for regular use. The riding comfort is another major highlight. The seat is well-cushioned, and the suspension setup handles bumps and rough roads quite effectively. Long rides feel comfortable without causing much fatigue. The handling and balance are also impressive, especially while taking turns or riding in traffic. The braking system provides good confidence and control, and the tires offer excellent road grip even during rainy conditions. The bike also comes with useful modern features that enhance the overall riding experience . The instrument cluster is clear and easy to read, while the lighting setup provides good visibility at night. Maintenance costs also seem reasonable compared to other bikes in the same segment. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this bike. It offers a perfect combination of style, comfort, performance , and fuel efficiency. Whether someone is looking for a daily commuting bike or a machine for occasional long rides , this bike is definitely a great choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and value-for-money motorcycle. Comfortable Cruiser with Classic Royal Enfield Feel. I bought the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 after a lot of research and my overall buying experience was smooth. The dealership staff explained everything clearly and delivery was on time. The bike looks premium and has a solid road presence. The cruiser-style seating position is very comfortable, especially for long rides , and the suspension handles rough roads in Gorakhpur quite well. The 350cc engine is smooth, refined, and perfect for city riding as well as highway cruising. Performance is not aggressive but very relaxed, which suits this bike’s character. Mileage is decent if ridden smoothly. Servicing has been affordable so far, and Royal Enfield service centers are easily available. Pros: Very comfortable ride , smooth engine, classic design, good build quality. Cons: Not for riders who want high speed or sporty performance , slightly heavy in traffic. Maintenance tips: Regular servicing, timely oil changes, maintaining correct tyre pressure, and smooth riding habits will keep the bike in excellent condition for years. Overall, Meteor 350 is a great choice for riders who want comfort, style, and reliability. "I am hearing a sharp hissing/sucking noise coming from [below the fuel tank / inside the airbox] on my meteor 350 newly purchased and 1800 km covered When it happens: It occurs specifically during deceleration when I completely release the throttle, most noticeably while engine braking in 2nd and 3rd gear around low RPMs. The noise disappears as soon as I pull in the clutch or open the throttle again Please let me know is it an issue or a normal behavior? 😢

The is intentional, as a firm or stiff suspension on a cruiser (or similar motorcycle) is specifically tuned to provide superior high-speed stability and a planted feel on smooth highways. Reduced Body Roll: Stiff suspension minimizes chassis movement, allowing the bike to maintain stability at speeds exceeding 100 km/h (approx. 62 mph) without the "wallowing" or "mushy" sensation associated with softer setups. Efficient Power Transfer: A firmer rear suspension reduces flex, ensuring that engine power is translated directly into forward drive rather than being absorbed by suspension compression during acceleration. Handling vs. Comfort Trade-off: While soft suspension offers comfort on rough, uneven roads, it is often considered "too soft" for fast, smooth highway runs; therefore, manufacturers and riders intentionally select firmer settings to prioritize cornering precision and predictable handling over plush comfort on long highway trips.

read the review before buying this bike. I purchased this bike on 14th October 2023. The initial days were good. My daily commute is around 2 hours, covering almost 70 km every day. Currently, the odometer reading is 60,000 km, and I have spent nearly ₹45,000 on service and maintenance. If you are planning to buy this bike, be ready for some exciting rides — but also for occasional breakdowns due to poor battery performance . The instrument cluster has stopped working, which cost me around ₹6,000 to replace. Additionally, you may need to replace the brake pads and possibly the disc plate after every 10,000+ km. Before purchasing, make sure to take a test ride and do thorough research on spare parts. Also, don’t forget to apply PPF (Paint Protection Film) on the fuel tank, front, and rear mudguards to protect the paint. One downside is that the rear tail indicators are not of very good quality. Even a minor hit from behind can damage the indicator, costing around ₹1,000 to replace. Overall, the bike performs well if you maintain a speed between 40–60 km/h. Riding at higher speeds will increase costs related to fuel efficiency, disc wear, and brake pad replacement. Finally, make sure your bike has a leg guard and an engine guard for better protection, especially on the rough Indian roads. Despite these issues, it’s a good bike if maintained properly and ridden responsibly. Regards to braking… With the abs feature, and both wheels being disc…this can be an issue sometimes when you need to panic brake to avoid a crash… I ride the older uce model, even heavier than new j series models, front disc and drum rear brake…no abs whatsoever…and with 6-7 year old tyres my braking distance was comparable to bikes of lesser weight say pulsar or hondas… I can panic brake well when necessary and my brakes never betrayed on me, as of course I locked up the rear wheel many times because DRUM brakes😂 but never crashed… Abs however will prioritise not locking up of wheels so your braking distance considerably increases….and the RE vehicles aren’t agile…so need to keep in mind and brake in advance, first slow pressing of brakes and then gradually increase pressure…. There’s a Canadian motorcycle channel, called FORTNINE, they explain very well how to brake, when your bike has abs vs when your bike doesn’t have abs…

Replace stock rear suspensions with classic Nitrox and you are sorted as far as rear suspension is concerned. The bike for me at least looks absolutely beautiful, runs smooth(80/90 kmph), very very stable on the road and just all around perfect (once the rear suspensions are replaced). The cruising vibe is just perfect.

Trust me, these 3 reasons are never and issue... I have the first edition of meteor. Replaced the rear suspension with classic bs4 nitrox suspension. Engine doesn't heat that much like he says. I am using it in Bangalore traffic and never felt that uncomfortable. And the headlight, I have the halogen headlight and I was the only person who was able to navigate the ghat road with fog while guys with led headlamps were stuck due to poor visibility. For better throw u can always attach a fog lamp.

Regarding suspension….. Rear shocks can be adjusted well to suit your feel…. want it more comfy? Keep it at the lowest level step…. Want it a bit stiff? Increase the step arrangement until it feels right…p.s both shocks must be adjusted equally…. but it comes with a trade off… The more stiff you make it, the more the ride bumps you feel, but also you won’t risk bottoming out in potholes or speed bumps… ideal for pothole and bad roads, or if you travel with a pillion regularly…handling also improves… But if you increase speed, say 80kmph+ even at the most stiff setting you won’t feel much road unevenness unless you hit a pothole or sudden road change which will be absolutely fatal… Front suspensions usually have a graded oil inside as lubricant…5w 10w 15w or 20w, REs both old and new models sit in the ballpark of 15w front fork oil.. The higher grade oil you use, the stiffer the suspension will be…so choose the oil wisely to suit your riding style…
