The perfect drive. I have been driving this car for the last 3 years, and I can say this is the most valuable car. I haven’t faced any issues with this car whatsoever. Yes, mileage is on the downside, but the design, comfort, and quality of this car compensate for all. Great sound system which comes with the BOSE 8 speakers. Ride quality is great, and enough ground clearance to tackle any kind of road.

Caution! Buy At Your Own Risk. I will be posting the absolute truth. I had the 2023 model Asta (O) with a sunroof. The car, within a month of buying, was in the service centre for a fuel pump issue. After this issue was fixed, the next issue that came in the 2nd month was the Steering Vibrated vigorously on switching on the AC. Once the AC issue was fixed, the next issue in 4 months was again the fuel pump failing. After this, within 1 year, the wiring of the car went bad, and all electricals stopped working. For this, Hyundai charged me a significant amount, saying it's not covered under warranty. After 2 years, the car's mileage became pathetic. 22kmpl with AC OFF on highway and around 10kmpl with AC ON on highway. Don't even ask about in-city mileage, as it was extremely poor. And the engine performance for a 1.2L 4-cylinder is very poor. It can't even climb a hill without struggling. Finally, I sold the car for a huge loss as its maintenance and frequent defects were eating my savings away. Have moved to Maruti since and am feeling a lot better. I still suggest going for the older i20s as they were absolutely incredible. New ones are a scam.

I20 Detail Review. Best car in the segment, best for family and long rides pocket friendly car. Good looks and amazing engine reliable car, if you want a car in the budget of 10 lakh this is best, it looks premium and the interior is fabulous, the mileage is good and look is alao amazing, it is a 5 seater car and I don't think that any other car can compete this much expectation.

To be honest in the name of technology development..all cars concentrating on the interior like a big infotainment system, big display, ambient lights and some like where it leads to sensor issues, which are not serviced correctly in service centers (eg wd trails Mahindra be6) and also compromising the build quality at some points, adopting to technology is not bad but it too has some limits.. buying a machine on lakhs should not make a buyer feel regret after buying it...

Review Of Asta I20. Very good looking car, best for family car, daily commute car, fuel economy is good, White colour looks sexy Very good interrior , As a Korean brand it offers reliability and good handling at higher speed. Height adjustable seat belt is a nice feature And for safety there are 3 airbags. If you are looking for a full fledged car with loaded features within 8 lakhs. Go for it.

I had an i20 N Line N6 DCT, and sadly, I met with an accident. During my ownership, I went through quite a few issues with the car. 1.The injector and carbon buildup issues were the biggest problems. I had experienced jerks and breakdowns multiple times, mostly because of fuel-related issues. 2.The brakes were another issue — sometimes they honestly felt like a gamble. But despite all that, this was still such a fun car to drive, especially as a teenager. I never did any major engine modifications. I had a Stage 1 tune for some time, and I also tried a conical air filter before switching back to the stock airbox with a K&N replacement filter. Still, I’m really sad that we had to part ways. We had so many good memories with this car.

i own i20 Petrol NA IVT automatic nov 2025 manufactured, engine is refined , silent and feels reliable enough to withstand ethanol blends better than turbo petrols and we are not going to get epc lights like virtus gt 😂 . The ivt gearbox feels smooth yet lethargic at the same time i need to put it in sports mode to get the instant pull on highways for overtaking. The sound while turning the steering wheel is what i also noticed but only during rain after that it vanished automatically. One major observation of mine was that i get 16 kmpl at max mileage on highways with ac on and when i turn off the ac it exceeds 22 kmpl and the difference feels huge even though i keep it at just 25-26 C. Does the ac of i20 feels overpowered to you also ?

i20 is one of the worst cars to buy, being a long term user there is a lot of quality issues in the transmission design & parts quality. After 5 years, you will see the impact.

I am using a 2025 model I20 Sportz manual, here is my experience. It has a good driving experience in both highway and city, the highway experience especially is really good, once you cross 40-60 you get a good power. Mileage 13 in city and highway 16-17 Ground cleared, haven’t faced any issues. Good interior and exterior with premium look Overall 8 out of 10. If your looking for more power house can go for I20 N line.

Stylish and sleek design. Buying Experience is overall good, got my delivery within 2 days. The Typhoon Silver colour is my choice satisfied with it. People said about mileage and all that, I don't think that is a problem because overall 15 is a good mileage according to the car. Headlights should be replaced as the headlights are about 70 to 80 per cent. Don't take a sunroof in this segment totally a waste. And about the rear seat, it's spacious. Normally, 3 people sit properly without any trouble. Overall, I don't think this car has any problem. We should consider it on top if we are planning on Maruti Suzuki Baleno or Maruti Suzuk swift because the Hyundai i20 is the car which gives more features and comforts than others. Cruise control works smoothly, no issues.

Very good for new car buyers. Value for money, very good performance, reliable, and driving control is very good. I have been using it for 8 years and still in very good condition engine starts on the first attempt, always go for it.

Baleno is nice but ഒരു 2 മണിക്കൂർ continuos ഓടിച്ചാൽ മടുക്കും i20 എത്ര ഓടിച്ചാലും മടുക്കില്ല it always keep the freshness and luxury while we drive. ഒറ്റ problem mileage ആണ് i am getting 8-10 in city, highways ഇൽ 17-18 വരെ കിട്ടും ivt ഓടിക്കേണ്ട പോലെ ഓടിച്ചാൽ. Architect in the CAR. 1. It was great, as Hyundai is way too welcoming than any other brands compared in economical cars in India. 2. Overall it was good, only the problem was in gear box while putting it in reverse. 3. No doubt, its awesome looking car. The performance is a little less for driving enthusiast or on highways. I have driven this car for 72000 kms, engine is definitely reliable. 4. Simply 10*, Hyundai will never let you leave unsatisfied. 5.Pros- Fit & finish is way too good compared to similar cars, Reliable engine, Great after sale experience. CONS- If you are tall, you will feel little trouble with clutch because of middle divider between driver & passenger. Rear gear issue.

I am using i20 for last 1 year and I am very happy with it. I don't drive agressively so I don't find the performance an issue.. in highway if I need a quick overtake I am fine with downshifting. Only issue is its headlight. Can you suggest which led are you using.. I am thinking of retrofitting a projector but not sure where to find a reliable shop in Kolkata. 7000 km done and many more to complete.. so far satisfied

I used to drive i20 petrol sportz back in 2012 to 2015. I drove nearly 80k and then sold it. During the ownership there were no machenical or electric issues. I went to nepal solo drive. Car performed very well. That time I was not married. Now I am married and waiting for new i20 to launch and will by for my wife for sure. Its a very good car (no nonsence car). It does not slip. But one thing is front seats are a little uncomfortable. The ground clearance is low. When AC is on, it can't climb a hill. There is a soft touch on the door. The armrest feels hard.

Those who are checking about this car, just go for it, using for past 6 months, there is no issues and does the job well. When we look at review there were so many nitty gritty things discussed and we were under impression that there are issues. But its not true in real time scenario. So dont get confused with hearing so many items from reviews when deciding. Not only for this car, but for any car try to check the car in showroom where you can decide better.
