Looks, performance, safety.. The buying experience with the Tata Nexon was smooth. The dealership staff were helpful, explained the variants clearly, and the delivery process was hassle-free. Finance and documentation were handled quickly. Driving the Nexon daily has been enjoyable. The 1.2L turbo petrol engine offers good low-end torque for city traffic, and it feels stable on highways too. The suspension absorbs potholes well, which is great for Indian roads. Steering is light at low speeds and weights up nicely at higher speeds. Mileage averages around 14-16 kmpl in mixed conditions. Looks-wise, it stands out with its muscular stance, LED DRLs, and bold front grille. The cabin feels premium for the price, with good fit and finish, a responsive infotainment system, and comfortable seats for 4 adults. Safety is a major plus with its 5-star GNCAP rating. Servicing at Tata service centres is decent, but wait times can vary. Maintenance costs are reasonable if you follow the service schedule. Pros*: Safety, build quality, features, ride comfort. Cons*: Turbo lag at low RPM, infotainment can lag occasionally. Tip*: Keep tyre pressure checked monthly and use genuine parts.

Tata Nexon - A comfortable companion.. I've put the Tata Nexon through its paces with two highway trips of nearly 300km each and tossed it around 50km in city traffic. Mileage-wise, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. On open highways, the Nexon impressed me with a solid ~19 km/l, but drop into city chaos and it sipped fuel at 12-13 km/l. Totally expected, but worth noting if you're city-bound often. Comfort's where the Nexon shines. The ride's plush, swallowing potholes and bumps like a pro, and the backseat's got heaps of space – perfect for squished families or buddy-filled outings. You’ll feel at home. The engine's another story when you push it hard; it gets a bit gruff and unrefined, reminding you it's doing its best. But ease off the pedal, drive smooth, and it transforms into an easy, stress-free cruiser. All in all, the Nexon’s a practical, spacious daily driver that kills it on highways and copes decently with city madness. If you value comfort, space, and safety (that 5-star NCAP rating’s a big win), and don’t mind the engine’s mood swings, the Nexon’s a solid pick.

Middle class choice. I have purchased Tata Nexon Pure Plus S variant in August. As of now, I have ride 5000 kms. My previous one is Tata Tigor. Now, Tata has improved a lot. Noise level has been reduced by a lot. Building quality is awesome. Features, comfort, and ride quality are excellent. Daily, I am travelling 80 km in heavy traffic. Got mileage of 14 to 15. Tata safety, everyone knows. I have a small issue. Gear shifting, especially to 6th gear and reverse gear, I have a problem. I heard a crank Noise. During the 1st Service in have informed to the team. Still not yet resolved. Vehicle quality is good but Tata has to improve its Service to withstand in cutthroat competition.

Tata Nexon Fearless Purple 1.2 Petrol 6MT Dual Tone: A 6-Month, 15,000km Review. Tata Nexon Fearless Purple 1.2 Petrol 6MT Dual Tone: A 6-Month, 15,000km Review Disclaimer: This review is based on my personal experience and may vary from individual to individual. Introduction I purchased the Tata Nexon Fearless Purple 1.2 Petrol 6MT Dual Tone about six months ago and have covered approximately 15,000 kilometers. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of my ownership experience, focusing on the car's performance, fuel efficiency, comfort, features, and overall value. Exterior and Interior Exterior: The Fearless Purple colour is undoubtedly eye-catching and gives the Nexon a sporty look. The dual-tone colour scheme adds to its appeal. The SUV's design is modern and has a strong road presence. Build quality feels solid, and the overall fit and finish are decent. Interior: The cabin is spacious and well-laid out. The dual-tone theme continues inside, enhancing the overall aesthetics. The seats are comfortable for both short and long journeys. The dashboard design is functional, and the controls are easy to reach. Material quality is acceptable for the price point. Performance Engine: The 1.2-litre petrol engine delivers adequate power for city driving. It's responsive and pulls cleanly from low RPMs. However, highway overtakes require careful planning due to the engine's limitations. Gearbox: The 6-speed manual gearbox is smooth and precise. Gear shifts are effortless, and the clutch is light. Handling: The Nexon handles confidently around corners. The steering is well-weighted and provides good feedback. The body roll is controlled, and the car feels planted on the road. Ride and Comfort Ride Quality: The suspension setup strikes a good balance between comfort and handling. It absorbs most road imperfections well, but sharp bumps can be felt. Comfort: The front seats are comfortable, but rear seat occupants might find the seat slightly firm on longer journeys. Noise insulation is decent, but wind noise becomes noticeable at higher speeds. Fuel Efficiency I have been consistently achieving a mileage of 16-19 km/l, which is quite impressive for a petrol SUV. The figures vary depending on driving conditions and traffic. Highway driving yields better mileage compared to city traffic. Features The Nexon comes equipped with a decent set of features, including a touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, rear parking sensors, and multiple airbags. The system is user-friendly, and the connectivity options are sufficient. Reliability So far, I haven't encountered any major reliability issues. The car has been trouble-free, and regular maintenance has been hassle-free. Overall The Tata Nexon Fearless Purple 1.2 Petrol 6MT Dual Tone offers a good blend of style, performance, and practicality. It's a suitable choice for both city and highway driving. The fuel efficiency is a major highlight. While it may not be the most powerful car in its segment, it excels in terms of value for money. If you're looking for a feature-rich, comfortable, and fuel-efficient SUV, the Nexon is definitely worth considering.

I bought the Pure Plus 1.2 Petrol MT in Oct 2025 and have driven 4220 km so far. Few points I agree with: A-pillar blind spot is dangerous in city traffic, especially at night with window visors. I had to trim the driver-side visor for better visibility. Mileage: I got 21 kmpl initially by strictly following RPM/gear guidelines, but now max is around 17.8–18 kmpl. Best mileage comes at 80–85 kmph in Eco mode with smooth driving. Panel gaps are inconsistent, but I’ve seen this even in costlier brands. Nexon’s body sheet feels thicker and sturdier compared to others in the segment. I extensively reviewed the 3XO. Better performance, but I wasn’t convinced with the look & feel, suspension, ground clearance, and resale value. Skoda Kylaq’s 999cc turbo with German tech may perform well, but long-term reliability, wear & tear, service cost, and outdated design were concerns for me. Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Kia Sonet are not even close to Nexon in overall package.

Nexon Petrol vs Diesel: Which One Should You Buy?. Honestly, after driving the Tata Nexon, the first thing I noticed was its ride quality. Indian roads have plenty of potholes and bad patches, but the Nexon handles them really well. The suspension feels comfortable, and the car doesn't feel too bumpy. The pickup is also quite good, especially when you put it in Sport mode. The response becomes much quicker, and the car feels more fun to drive. Overtaking on highways is also quite confident. Another thing I really like about the Nexon is the safety and solid build. The car feels strong and gives you a good sense of security while driving. At higher speeds, it feels stable and planted, which is especially reassuring on highways. The steering and overall handling are also pretty confidence-inspiring. Even when the road isn't perfect, the car stays composed. One thing I didn't like – Petrol Mileage The main drawback for me is the petrol mileage. If your running is high, especially in city traffic or if you enjoy using Sport mode, fuel consumption can become a little expensive. So, if you are someone who drives a lot of kilometres every month, I would definitely suggest looking at the Nexon Diesel. The diesel makes more sense for high running because of its better fuel efficiency and strong torque. It's especially good if you do a lot of highway driving or long-distance trips. My Verdict Overall, I really like the Nexon. Comfortable ride, good pickup, Sport mode, solid build, safety and excellent stability — these are the things that make the car enjoyable to drive. If your running is low or moderate, petrol is absolutely fine. But if you drive a lot, go for the diesel. It will be a much more practical choice for your pocket in the long run. Overall, Nexon is a car that feels safe, comfortable and fun to drive — and that's what matters most to me.

Bought xza plus after meeting him and watching his video and also taken feedback from billlu biker. Drove 80K in 7 yrs, no problem till date and only regular service, no tyres change yet, highway mileage 25-27km and in city 19-20km, Nexon rocks, no rusting since I take care and get it washed only when needed with no hard water, no brakes and any part change yet. Only engine oil, coolant and filters at regular intervals

Don't Buy!!!. I bought this variant in March 2025, in Chennai, from Laxmi Tata Motors. When I received my car, I found there was a paint job issue, the interior was quite dirty, etc First thing is, do not rely on the sales and showroom people. After taking the car to home, the car started breaking down after a few days, some here and there issues are popping up! I contacted the service, and then the nightmare started, one of the worst services in this industry, delayed response times, and issues with part availability and vehicle repairs!! After delivery, I found that most of the time, my car interior is too dirty!! They don't understand or don't want to share the issues. I don't know, but this is a major concern! As per my experience, don't go for this car brand. I am planning to sell this car mainly due to TATA's service!

No proper service in Bangalore, Karnataka. I’m escalating unresolved issues with my Tata Nexon Creative+ (KA04 NC 8439) from Prerana Motors, Bangalore. The vehicle had delivery defects, air leaks, and overheating issues unresolved despite multiple visits. Request urgent resolution and a written action plan.

Nexon Pure Plus (S) petrol worst buying experience. I bought a Tata Nexon Pure Plus (S) in May'25, which was the worst decision of my life. It started creating problems since starting, like the electronic system is not good of all Tata cars and noise from the front steering rack. I visited many times Tata service centre within 3 months of buying the car, and the issue has not been fixed yet. After the service of Tata is so pathetic, whereas I had never faced any issues with my previous car Hyundai. People should never go by the 5star ratings because safety is concern but no one buy the new car to visit frequently in service centre to get the issue fixed. So choose the reliable brand and enjoy your driving experience with the car.

I went to TATA showroom to buy nexon. But staff isn’t ready to sell the car and car is also not that good in terms of fit and finish.. Hyundai , Kia , Honda have good response and finally got Seltos… Driven 15K kms and I could say I loved my seltos… moreover TATA sales executives lie like anything…If you say we are looking other alternatives then they say other customers are exchanging those cars and getting Tata cars etc… also they don’t have any idea about variants etc… all they push is safety , 5 star that is it…

Tata Nexon 6 KMPL mileage. I strongly advise potential buyers to reconsider before purchasing the Tata Nexon Smart Plus S petrol variant. My experience with this car has been extremely disappointing, both in terms of performance and after-sales service. The biggest issue is the mileage. In city driving conditions, I am getting barely 6 kmpl, which is completely unacceptable for a car in this segment. I drive mostly in regular city traffic, and even after following all recommended driving practices, the fuel efficiency has not improved. This is far below the mileage claimed by the company and much worse than what customers reasonably expect. What makes the situation worse is the response from Tata’s service team. I have raised multiple complaints regarding the poor mileage, but instead of providing a proper technical inspection or a clear resolution, the service staff consistently try to brush off the issue. Every visit ends with the same response: “Everything is normal, there is no problem with the car.” No concrete explanation, no corrective action, and no accountability.

Have bought the fearless 45. Good car. Driven 12000 km in 4 months. Nothing visibly negative. Only problem is the charging gun release issue. Heard that it's the actuator problem. Good for fixed route movement where you can charge only at your home using the 3.3 kw charger. Some issues where the infotainment system becomes non responsive. Use mainly in highway driving. Almost 95%.

Don’t let others confuse you I’m speaking from real experience. I own a Tata Nexon petrol and before this I had a Maruti Swift. The Swift was a great car excellent mileage and very low maintenance—but the Nexon offers something more meaningful performance combined with strong safety. When it comes to mileage the Nexon is no slouch either. On highways, you can comfortably achieve around 16–17 km/l with smooth driving. And if you look at the market trends, the Nexon has consistently been among the top-selling cars in recent months—feel free to check it yourself. With Tata, you get a premium feel a solid build, confident performance, and most importantly, safety you can trust. Maruti may give you better mileage and lower maintenance, but when it comes to build quality and road presence, the Nexon stands in a completely different league.

Driving experience is very good stability. The buying experience is excellent, and I experienced this during the demo. Driving experience is very good stability, handling on highway and city rides, with better suspension response. Looks are very futuristic, and pickup is outstanding, and pulling capacity and rolling are very high. Service and maintenance costs are normal as like other car companies. Pros are a good 5-star safety rating and a very advanced feature in this segment. Tata may be able to improve some glitches in the Software and MID as screen blackout and proper mileage showing, and sometimes come clutch sound during gear shifting in the cabin.

Is Tata Nexon Worth It? My Real Experience. Recently got my hands on the Tata Nexon, and overall it’s been a solid experience. On highways, the mileage really stands out — long drives feel efficient and smooth, making it a great companion for road trips. However, in city traffic, the fuel efficiency does take a noticeable hit, which is something to keep in mind for daily commuting. One thing I genuinely appreciate is the build quality. The car feels sturdy and well-planted, giving a strong sense of safety and confidence behind the wheel. That said, it’s not without flaws. The infotainment system can be a bit inconsistent — there were moments when Apple CarPlay simply refused to connect, even after multiple tries, which can get frustrating. All in all, it’s a dependable SUV with strong highway performance and reassuring build, but with a few tech hiccups and city mileage concerns.

Sleek, Stealthy, and Ready for the Road. The Tata Nexon Dark Edition isn't just a car; it’s a design statement. From the moment you see that deep, \"Atlas Black\" finish paired with the darkened 16-inch alloys, it’s clear this SUV is built for those who prefer a more aggressive, sophisticated presence on the road. The \"Dark\" badge on the fender adds a subtle touch of exclusivity that sets it apart from the standard lineup. Step inside, and the theme continues with a premium, all-black interior. The dark upholstery and tri-arrow perforations give the cabin a modern, sporty feel that is much easier to maintain than lighter alternatives. Despite the dark tones, the cabin feels spacious, and the ergonomics remain top-notch. Performance-wise, the Nexon continues to impress with its solid build quality and a 5-star safety rating that provides immense peace of mind. The engine is punchy enough for highway cruises, while the light steering makes city manoeuvres effortless. The infotainment system is crisp, and the ventilated seats are a blessing in warmer climates. If you are looking for a compact SUV that balances unmatched safety with a head-turning, \"murdered-out\" aesthetic, the Nexon Dark Edition remains the gold standard in its segment.

Nexon piku. Review after 6 months of usage: The Tata Nexon XZ+ S MT is my car. Initially felt like the clutch was a little laggy For beginners like me, having driving modes is so useful as Sports drive mode is very punchy :) Loved the speakers. The sound is loud and clear Design wise both interior and exterior looks beautiful. 5* GNCAP rating - we can feel the car's presence every time and also solid build quality gives so much confidence both in cities and highways. Space inside the cabin is good and comfortable Ground clearance of 209mm is too good on any road. I went on 3 long journey trips travelling days and nights with 5 people in the car. So didn't face any issues anytime Sunroof is decent Can hear some engine noise due to 3 cylinder engine in Petrol but we can get used to it. So no worries for me. Getting decent mileage. On highways around 17–20. In the city around 12–15.

First Indian Five Star Car. Really good interiors and feel of drive is good as well, with surprisingly good AC. Car is too good in driving and overall performance with this car is very nice, safety is also top notch feature and styling also very awesome main thing is this car comes with 360 camera which helps us too much to park in tight areas. Especially at low speeds. It excels in handling and ride comfort, absorbing road imperfections well, though it may have noticeable body roll in corners
