Hunter 350 – A Stylish Beast That Rules the Streets. Buying the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 was a smooth and exciting experience . The dealership staff in Nawada were helpful and transparent, making the process hassle-free. From the moment I took my first ride , I was impressed by its punchy performance and nimble handling. The bike feels solid on the road, with a refined engine that delivers a satisfying thump without compromising on smoothness. Its retro-modern design turns heads wherever I go—especially the sleek tank and minimalist tail section. The seating is comfortable for city rides and short highway runs, though long-distance touring might need a few tweaks. Servicing has been affordable so far, and the local service centre has been responsive and professional. Pros: - Eye-catching design - Smooth gear shifts - Great city handling - Reliable mileage Cons: - Slight vibrations at higher speeds - Rear suspension could be softer Maintenance Tips: - Clean and lubricate the chain every 500–700 km - Stick to the recommended engine oil grade - Check tire pressure weekly for optimal grip and mileage - Use a cover to protect the paint from sun damage Ridden in -- Nawada Rating Parameters ( out of 5 ) 5 Design and styling 5 Performance 4 Comfort 5 Service experience 5 Value for money 5 Features and Technology About the Reviewer Ridden for (If Owned) 0-5000 km Got mileage of 46 kmpl Read More

Best bike for daily ride and long trips. I have been using the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and my overall experience is excellent. The bike looks stylish and modern, and the riding position is very comfortable for city rides as well as short highway trips. The engine feels smooth and refined, and the pickup is good for everyday use. Handling is easy because of the lightweight design compared to other Royal Enfield bikes. Mileage is decent, and maintenance cost is reasonable. Braking performance and stability are also good. The seat is comfortable, and the overall build quality feels premium. If someone wants a bike with a classic Royal Enfield feel and easy handling, the Hunter 350 is a great option. I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others. 1000 km Ownership Review. The clutch is noticeably smoother compared to the previous generation of the Hunter 350. The suspension has been tuned more softly, offering better comfort over rough roads. The seat is relatively more comfortable than the previous model, making long rides easier. Its lightweight design makes it incredibly easy to handle, especially in day-to-day city traffic. The new LED lighting setup not only looks modern but also improves visibility. Not a decent purchase. The suspension is too hard not good for long drive , suitable for city commute. No good service by re service centre. Mileage is 28kmpl in highway and 25 kmpl in city. Braking is super, seating posture is good. The main problem is with comfort(Suspension) & Mileage which is the most required for many that is not satisfied. Service from RE is poor Rating Parameters ( out of 5 ) 3 Design and styling 3 Performance 2 Comfort 1 Service experience 3 Value for money About the Reviewer Ridden for (If Owned) 5000-15000 km Got mileage of 27 kmpl Read More

Hey Shumi! I had commented on your previous video about my experience with the Hunter 350, so sharing a more detailed update here. I bought my bike in December 2022, and it’s currently at 20,000 km on the ODO, mostly used for short rides and daily office commutes. Although it is a long comment but would recommend to read this if you own hunter. 🔧 Issues & Fixes Rear Suspension Issue I completely agree with you on the rear shocker problem. At 80–90 km/h, even small bumps made the rear feel unstable—almost like the backend could throw you off. ➡ I upgraded the rear shockers in September last year, which cost me around ₹3200 (including installation). Result: Massive improvement in stability and confidence. ⛽ Fuel Efficiency Observation One thing I’ve noticed is that E20-compatible models (post-April 2023) seem to have lower fuel efficiency (below 30 km/l)—not sure how Royal Enfield managed that. ➡ On my bike, I’m consistently getting 30–35 km/l, even with: BMC Air Filter NGK Double Iridium Spark Plugs 🛠 Mods & Recommendations 1. Engine Oil Upgrade After warranty, I’d strongly recommend switching to full synthetic oil instead of the stock one. ✔ Reduced heating ✔ Noticeably less tappet noise 2. Handlebar Upgrade I switched to the newer Hunter handlebar. ✔ More upright posture ✔ Better riding triangle ✔ More comfort on longer rides 🔜 Upcoming Change Planning to upgrade tyres soon to Apollo Tramplr XR for better road grip and performance. ⚠ Clutch Upgrade Warning For those thinking of upgrading the clutch: ❌ I wouldn’t recommend it. Yes, it may feel lighter, but it doesn’t function as intended compared to the newer Hunter models. 🆕 New Hunter vs Old After riding the 2025 Hunter 350, I made these changes—and honestly, they’ve significantly improved ride quality. Also, worth noting: ➡ Post-April 2023 models come with a speed limiter, capping top speed around 120–125 km/h (as reported by multiple riders). Hope this helps fellow Hunter 350 owners and buyers! 🙌

Bhai log na practical chizo se jyada hawa hawai baato par jayada dhyan dete hai...usd fork hona chahiye ground clearance itna hona chahiye aur falana hona chahiye dhinkana hona chahiye lekin genuinely unki need kya hai wo kaha chalate hai kitna chalate hai ye nahi dekhte hai bas video dekh dekh ke usse inspire hokar koi bhi bike khareed lete hai aur phir baad me suffocate karte hai aur sabse badi baat ye hai ki koi bhi bike perfect nahi hoti sabme kuch na kuch problem hota hai. Main Assam se Bihar ek din me Tvs Jupiter se gaya hu...ek baar bhi mujhe koi problem feel nahi hua...na koi ground clearance ka issue na USD fork ki kami ya dual channel abs ya kuch bhi aur. Driving par bhi depend karta hai aap kaise chalate ho jabki Bihar aur bengal ki road bas kaam chalau hai aur kuch jagah toh bahut jyada kharab hai....phir bhi koi problem nahi hua......par agar aap ke jo bhi bike ya scooty hai usse agar aap khush nahi hai toh wo bhale hi 05 lakh ki bike ho aapko koi na koi problem hogi hi.

I changed to full synthetic 15w50 motorcycle oil at 2,000 km and the engine became much more responsive and freer revving. It now willingly sits at 100 to 110 kph on the highway and does not feel pushed or strained in any way. It has now covered 5,000 km's from new and I am very happy with it's overall performance. Cheers from Australia

Hello Sir, I’ve been riding a Honda CB350RS for 3+ years now and clocked 38,000+ km — absolutely love the bike and it has never disappointed me. For daily city usage, I still sometimes take my father’s old Passion Pro because it’s super easy in traffic. Now I’m planning to buy my first motorcycle with my own money, and I want it to be something special. My shortlist currently includes Triumph Speedmaster, Bonneville T120, and Speed Twin 1200. I understand all three offer very different riding experiences. I’m mainly looking for a refined, premium-feeling motorcycle that is great for comfortable highway cruising and also good for pillion comfort. It won’t be a daily city bike. For riders who have owned or ridden these bikes — which one would you personally choose and why?

Hi Shumi, I own a 2024 model - I reached out to official Royal Enfield support (over email), and they clearly mentioned that 2024 models CANNOT be retrofitted with the new suspensions or even the slipper assist clutch, and that it would void the warranty. I did hear similar response at Royal Enfield service station as well, with one place even saying that the new suspension is not compatible with 2024 model, and one place outright rejected even to talk about any kind of retrofit. I am stuck with the older tight suspension, but I love my bike otherwise.

Hey fellow Hunter 350 owners, are you guys experiencing a hard/stiff gear shift? Mine feels quite hard to shift, especially into neutral or lower gears. Is this common for the J-series engine or do I need to adjust my clutch play?

Yo bro ❤ nice detailed review! Btw I took my N160 delivery today. Unfortunately, my dealer said nowadays only the USD forks variant are being produced. So, I had to go with it (USD, Single seat, white). Braking is really great. Gear shifting and clutch 👌👌pakka mass. However, When I rode back home with my mum, I could hear some squeaking noise in the rear suspension. Idk what causes it and I hope it fixes itself during the break in…The only issue I feel is that the bike leans/pulls towards the left when I let go of the handlebar. Apart from that, I’m very excited to ride this bike!Gonna follow your engine break in framework.

For riding around a big city, often with two people who are 1.72 and 1.80 respectively, which would be better: the Meteor 350 or the Hunter? Many thanks, from Argentina,

The price range and everything is just perfect this is why it's the best selling RE bikes since it came, look at all the new bikes from continental, interceptor, Shotgun, Meteor, Bear 650 to Guerilla. None of them has the versatility as hunter 350 that's why i consider it the best bike RE has created. The other bikes are just too pricey with absolutely no features worth its cost

Hello Shumi! I have a question! Can rear disk brakes be installed in the base variant? I'll buying my first bike next month, and finally shifting from my beloved Activa. I like the Hunter's base variant, the factory black colour and the spokes wheel actually gives more retro feel than alloy wheels. But disk brakes are an issue.

Review of Hunter 350 as a Tokyo Black owner since 2025 Nov. Best Option: Top (2,03500₹) or Mid varients (1,96,000₹ max). Milage: 35 to 40 (Depending on ur drive). Old issues: Over heating, Handle Position, Back Shocks, Halogen headlight(some prefer halogen still), ground clearance, uncomfortable seat cushion. Rectified: Ground Clearance increased, Handle has bent for riding comfort, Considered Heating issue now it becomes minmal, More cusion added, Replaced stiff back shocks. New add on features (2025): Slipper Clutch, Tripper Navigation, LED head light and new colors. Extra fiitings Required: Crash Guard, Pillion helmet, Foot rest for pillion, Sump guard, Back rest, (Must do PPF to avoid scratches). Old Hunter rating 10/7 New Hunter rating 10/9.5 Similar options:- TVS Ronin,Yamaha XSR. Now no need doubt u can go with Hunter as it is value for money and easy handling. Thanks🙏

Hi all fans of RE and existing and prospective owners of Hunter. I wish to share one thing with you all, which none of *You Tubers* , none of RE showroom persons, none of the Auto magazines has ever told us. Rebel is 5000 costlier compared to Dapper. But the difference in price is only due to the two tone colour of the former, otherwise both have exactly similar features. In order to be eligible for being called top variant that variant should have MORE FEATURES, which Rebel does not have. So, in my opinion calling Rebel top variant and Dapper mid variant is absolutely wrong, despite there being difference in prices. Both are top versions. The better way to put it would be that RE is charging premium for 2 tone colour.
