The perfect ride for city rides with some catch. I love most of the things it offers at this budget; the ride comfort, fit and finish,the cabin space and so on. Initially i was about to go for fronx or punch as most of the comparative videos and reviewers suggest, but the coupe design of fronx gave it off (limited cargo) and then the after-sales service of tata (lagging behind in competition). So exter was the most rounded option (4 cylinder 1.2 l engine, compact dimension not so big not so small just the right size for my liking ) Then the facelift was announced and loo the new exteriors/interior got more good looking with just some changes here and there . Especially the driver's side armrest and sporty spoiler. Riding with 5 onboard is quite comfortable(4 adult 1 child) but it feels slightly delayed accelerating as compared to fronx and puch in same conditions (i have tested on these two also; with fronx being turbo one), and again exters overalls like least cabin noise , space and comfort felt better among the three . So i opted for exter. And here comes the not-so-good part Watered down the top manual transmission variant (previously sx and sxo had a manual option, but now a new nomenclature has been introduced, striped hx8 from some features that i was keen on having in a top manual variant) 1 buildt in gps navigation 2 dual dashcam front & cabin recording( only front recording in my hx8 manual) 3 adaptive guidelines in reversing mode and drvm button 4 soft close roof grab handles All these were present in last year's SX/sxo manual transmission, but it got pulled back to the HX10 only which amt only varient sadly. And one more nitpick would be a missing sunglass holder at the roof. Recently completed 500kms with my exterior HX8, and its a fun to ride car.

Driving exter Hx 10 purely highway 23.5 kmpl as inuse Xp 100 ..interior is extremely premium .cabin noise is extremely low.please buy automatic as that gives almost same mileage than manual .family of 3 to 4 members is good 5 I would recommend hyundai Venue.driven 5000 kms in 3 months 10!days.

I have Exter dual cng SX 2025 ..After 25k km..my feedback- Nagative- 1.sabse bekar suspension 2.rear look bekar he compare to competitors brands 3.tyre size 15 inch( you can’t upgrade 16-17 inch tyre due to clider ko lag jata he 4.with 5 persons on pahadi pe maja nahi ayega…and over taking me confidence nahi ata he… Positive- 1.Superb-fit and finish,best quality plastic used.. 2.premium interior 3.No noise in cabin 4.rear seat Hight superb for 6 feet persons 5.due to 4 cylinder no engine noise 6.cng average 28-29km on highway and city 20-22km… 7.best service from Hyundai/never regret from service centre Best car for city drive…i happy with my car..its family car…

An Exter Owner. I own an exter. Have been driving it for two years now. The car is a marvellous city drive. I get an average of 16.7 kmpl. In the morning without traffic. I often drive 25 kmpl. The driving pleasure is very good. Smooth, soft suspension and noiseless. The steering is soft. Features are amongst the best in the segment. Two points which could have been better. 1. The looks aren't quite universally liked. From some angles, it looks wonderful whileas from others it looks a bit confusing. One just cannot put ones finger on what could be changed to make it look better. 2. It does not inspire confidence when the AC is on and a slope is confronting you. Tends to be a struggle. But for a city dweller, it is very very difficult to choose a better package. Easy to park and a pleasure to drive. Would I buy it again, definitely not. This time I would go for the new model of exter. I sometimes think it looks better.

I've owned an exter S CNG for 2.5 years, did 34k km on it. I couldn't have asked for a better beginner car. The only downsides of this car are: 1. Suspensions, yes they're soft, no problems in the city, but you do feel the pot holes and unevenness of the road, again it doesn't impact that much, it could have been better. 2. I wish it had better sized rims and tyres, because for the car that's that tall, at high speeds on the highway, on turns you feel the G force, on the contrary I've one company car, that's a Tata Altroz cng 2023, that machine sticks to the ground at turns at high speeds, maybe for the grounded stance, bigger tyres and longer wheel base, but again that's all altroz has to offer. I won't be switching to another car anytime soon, I just love this car, perfect city car, and a decent highway car, I've done 1000km trips in this and it drives so smoothly, and the handling of this car is on the next level, the steering, chef's kiss it is.... Such a nimble and smooth, it is, I've driven a friends Punch amt 2026 and boy that steering sucked, it felt as it was in the 3 year old altroz. The head room, the space it is the best in class.. So yes this is still the best first or beginner car for the city.

As an owner of the Exter with nearly 5000 km running , here are my observations 1. Suspension is too soft. Whenever the car passes over a pit at high speed, the resulting crash makes me think that the suspension system has broken down. 2. Its tyres are a bit too thin 3. Its spare wheel is smaller than the car wheels 4. Its fuel consumption is slightly on the higher side 5. Its music system is average 6. No charging pods in the rear 7. Its features are simply awesome 8. Its back seats are more comfortable than the front. 9. It has the smoothest engine I have ever seen 10. Its AMT, paddle shifters, hill assist, all the controls on the dashboard are superb 11. Headlamps are poor. Overall, a fine family car for a relaxed driving experience

Hyundai Exter Sx Tech AMT Review On 8000kms. Hyundai Exter SX Tech AMT review: 1. Car steering is very smooth and easy to drive on crowded road. 2. Mileage little bit disappointed on highway max 18km/ltr with AC (test on 80kms travel) 3. Look wise good and classify from front. 4. Ground clearance is very good. 5. No engine noise while driving give good feel on long drives. No issue faced on 300 kms continuous drive. 6. Best on drive on narrow roads. 7. No rust appear in 8 months even parking car outside on road. 8. AC is good. 9. Boot space is also ok. 10. Large side mirrors giving good visibility while driving. 11. Factory fitted dashboard camera quality also Good.

Using the SX model car last one year.. Pros : Good for family Lots of features, fit and finish is good, nice engine, good mileage if you are not driving hard.visibility is good.good space overall. Cons: under power engine quick overtaking will be challenging highway and hill stations , no confidence after 120km speed.some say back suspension issues but not find any issues with 6 people also (yes it may look tyre gap is less with wheel arch but you have enough space under the wheel arch). Who to buy: for small Family,anyway you will not going to drive hard. If need good features.

I have aslo Hyudai Exter dual cng ..purchased on dec 24…on road 9 lakh..before gst😢..till date run 24,000km Positive-best car in this segment,silent cabin,premium feel,best avg on cng 28-29km on highway,20-22 on city,after sales service best he.. Nagative- That time spare wheel not porovided in dual cng car..now available Poor suspension compare to Tata punch Poor lights,sound quality also poor.. Tyre size you can’t upgrade 16-17 inch nahi laga sakte he…lag jati he clider ko.. Highway pe overtaking thoda confidence kam ata he… But still I’m going with Exter …because this car give me confidence on highway 150+ drive some time…braking shandar he..rear seat perfect for 6+ Hight persons …

Amazing Exter Sx. Bought this micro SUV Exter SX model, sunroof at budget is like dream comes true. 1200cc machine with great comfort like venue can drive long about 600km with no tired, premium features at low cost only in Exter you can expect. I got 20km avg mileage. AC experience is awesome, every feature control on steering is awesome.

Brother I own a top spec Amt Exter and whatever things you said are not true. The space is good for a car this small and 4 big people or 5 average people. I recently went on a trip to Udaipur (500 Kms) with 3 others who are as big as me (5'11 - 6'0) and we were so comfortable. Performance is good for almost all and it doesn't feel lethargic but smooth and refined. The one thing most people don't mention is the cabin noise, which is so well insulated. It is a wonderful car and so please don't defame this car. P.S. At first I didn't like the looks of this car but as time goes on it kind of grew on me. It looks like a blob but it is cute.

Smooth drive, premium and comfortable cabin experience.. I took a test drive from the nearby Hyundai showroom. The drive was smooth, the cabin is super silent, zero vibrations and suspensions are super comfortable, space management is surprisingly good. When I first saw the car, I thought the space would be compromised, but surprisingly, the rear seat space is even better than that of the car above its segment.

I also have Exter, I have upgraded my alloys to OEM i20 ones and tyres to 195/55 R16 (Continental UC6), also upgraded my rear suspension to ARC with included 15mm lift, it is now giving me better confidence on highways, mainly during cornering as compared to what I was experiencing with stock Alloys, Tyres and rear Suspension

Exter Review. I recently bought the Hyundai Exter, and overall, it’s been a pretty satisfying experience. The buying process was smooth, dealership staff were helpful and didn’t push unnecessary add-ons. The car’s design is a big highlight; it looks modern and a bit bold for its segment, especially from the front. Driving it in the city is comfortable, with light steering and good visibility, making daily use easy. Performance is decent, not too aggressive, but enough for city and occasional highway drives. Mileage has been reasonable for me, especially with normal driving habits. Service experience so far has been okay, nothing exceptional, but no complaints either. Maintenance costs seem manageable compared to other cars in this range. Pros: stylish looks, smooth city driving, good features for the price. Cons: The engine could feel underpowered on highways, and cabin insulation could be better. Maintenance tip: keep tyre pressure in check and don’t delay basic servicing, it really helps maintain mileage and performance. Also, avoid harsh acceleration to improve fuel efficiency.

Excellent Car Must Buy. Best car, noiseless refined engine, very good pickup, power chilled AC , premium Interior, supreb sound, 20 ka mileage, no additional accessories required, A must buy better than Punch in suspension, engine, average, interior and many more, spare wheel gives a secure feel, HX 3 is enough no need for higher varient.

Exyer is My worst choice of my many cars. Ride not comfortable, driving is jerky, Fuel consumption is pathetic. I bought it because wanted a small car for city drive. Khaki color attracted me. Overall bad. Company should stop selling Exter, which already I have written to Hyundai company also.

Best Car You Can Buy. Wonderful Experience with this car exterior and interior is so good. Power steering feels amazing. Awesome look... Best car in this segment you will get a good feel while driving this car and also it will give you a good mileage with normal driving.. no cabin noise and best family car to buy in 2026.

I just wondering after taking…. I just wondering after taking my first ride in external because it was very smooth and very spaces with more comfortable and one thing I had feeled that i can feel the torque and tge acceleration of that car kind new era ....

I've been driving the Exter SX(O) for the last six months , around 5,000 kilometers on both highways and city roads. Pros: * The car's size makes it perfect for crowded streets and narrow roads. * The build quality is quite good. * The engine is very quiet. * I've managed to get a maximum mileage of 25 km/L on petrol in manual , but the average is between 14 and 20 km/L. * It's a very basic car, ideal for everyday use. Cons: * The headlights aren't bright enough. * It's definitely not an SUV. It's a crossover hatchback. * The suspension feels very uncomfortable on long drives, especially for rear seat passengers.

I travel with full family, one portable box toilet, five luggages, six other large items, two hampers, 7 bottles, one walking stick, three backpacks, three sling bags. Wonderful suspension, smooth drive, great low end cruising, smooth and planted in high speeds, great cornering, and very impressive mileage. Highest I have got is 24.1. No problem over bumps. Never "crashed through" with this load. Downshift, and it overtakes smoothly. Mine is the lowest, ordinary model. No music system. We like listening to the drive. Have no idea what you are on about

Exter AMT SX O is the best, suspension is really good, it's a softer suspension made for comfort, i have been using it for the past 5 months covering around 6000 KM, drove in all areas hills, off-road, highway, city, mmm seriously it's good in all terrain, for a car this price it's value the money. It's not a performance based car, it suits for chill drive not rash. A few points I don't like is the seat is hard, the avg mileage in the city is around 12-14. That's all apart from this all are good to me. And regarding hill drive, uphill with auto is good and downhill manual + - should be used.

beyond imagination. beyond my imagination, super space and comfort that I feel. very smooth steering , very steady, hard body of car, nearby service center, service centre experience is superb, very nice behaviour of staff, very good service.
