P.S It completely depends upon how you drive the car) Buying experience and after-sales service was really good Cons: Engine could have been more powerful Ride becomes bouncy at high speeds and gets uncomfortable for the passenger at the back Low-quality interior (low-quality plastics everywhere. They look good but they are not upto mark) Vehicle bounces a lot at bad roads due to the soft suspension setup. The ride will be smooth and comfortable as long as the roads are decently good. If the road is worse it will bounce less compared with the same budget other cars. Average ground Clearance (While fully loaded with 4 passengers).

The interior quality is good but materials used in dashboard with hard plastics making not feels very premium than the Tata Altroz, Tiago and Hyundai i20.It feels very light on higher speeds while driving on the highways making it unstable with 850 kgs of kerb weight. It also gets noisy and feels vibrations at higher speeds.Maruti Swift 163 mm ground clearance is not good for Indian roads to scrape speed breakers.The rear seat space can be a bit cramped for taller people and thigh support is also not good.

Driving experience is awesome. The buying experience is very good. My car is a 2021 model Swift VXI Petrol. Driving experience is also awesome, a few times, we feel that more power is required, but overall experience is very good. I think that looks are subjective, but the Maruti Swift is an awesome-looking car. Most important thing that there is zero maintenance cost, and the servicing is also done for very little money, under 4000 to 5000, and the part availability of Maruti and Service Centre all over India is fantastic. Pros- Low maintenance cost, Part availability, Multiple Service Centres, and everywhere a mechanic for a Maruti car is also available. Cons: Safety issues, Required More Power

Hi just wanted to share my experience of buying a swift. Last year i went on a hunt to buy a swift with just a budget of 2L, i was looking for a 2007-09 model(with G13B engine). after 2-3 months of looking, i found this 2012 Swift(K12) VXI at a very good deal for a 2.5L that too with showroom track record and just 34k kms it had factory set of tires and everything the car ticked every box but it had a issue of rusting on doors. with a very heavy heart and advices i decided to go for it. The estimates i got for changing doors were 12k for panels and 10k for paint (I'm thinking to get it all painted in a different color). 1 year of ownership and im shocked to see how it performs even now. It easily pulls up to 130kmph!(it can go further too🙃) and the service spare parts are cheap and easy to source. I havent tested the mileage yet but its good as i just fill it once a month and it goes above 400-450kms before the guage is near to Empty. aftermarket support is fantastic. Its truly a good beginner car imo. Im not a big fan of brakes though. The interior of this model doesnt feel outdated as such its modern and classic also it has ample space inside compared to other generations.

Swift review. I tested Swift ZXi petrol and the performance, pick up, interiors was amazing. It's high fuel efficiency makes it an attractive option. With strong Maruti dealer and service network it's a no brianer. Highly recommended.

Looks are polarizing, and the previous generations were much better in terms of looks 5. Prices have increased even more despite the downgrades!!! 6. Safety is a story for another day People can chill, I'm not a particular fanboy, it's just that in every aspect I see, it only appears like a downgrade. Maruti only focuses on mileage and practically speaking nothing else.. One can get an Ignis or Baleno in the same price range which has more power and 4 cylinder engine, and the Baleno has much better build quality, features, comfort, space and my friend told that Nexa dealerships are much superior compared to the Arena dealerships PS: It's not an issue if the car is downgraded in few aspects, but the asking price is much more compared to before, and I reckon the Indian bound Swift won't be as pleasing as the European or Japanese ones in terms of build quality and safety...

i just bought a 2018 3rd gen swift, it has lots of kms on it but still runs like its on butter, 4.5L is good considering the car has only been serviced in the showroom and the first owner maintained it like his own son. if you look around and find a good 3rd gen, get it, it’s worth the extra 1L
