\"Dzire VXI CNG – The Smart Choice for Daily Commutes\". The car has a strong resale value, low maintenance costs, and a wide service network, making it economical over the long term. the VXI CNG variant is especially good for middle-class families and even taxi or fleet operators due to its low cost of ownership and reliability. There are some reports that real-world mileage may fall short of official claims, but overall user satisfaction remains high. Some features, like projector headlamps and advanced camera systems, are not standard on this variant and might be missed by more tech-focused drivers. Performance on highways is adequate, but not particularly powerful, which may be a consideration for those seeking more spirited drives. Minor issues like ground clearance or interior fitment were reported by a few users, but these are generally not deal-breakers. The Maruti Desire CNG VXI makes for a practical, wallet-friendly sedan that balances comfort, safety, and daily usability. It is best suited for buyers who prioritize fuel economy, ease of driving, and low running costs over premium features and outright performance
Great Car Wirh Comfort. Its a great family car with Good safety and mileage with good performance 1. Mileage (biggest strength) Petrol: ~22-24 km/l CNG: ~30+ km/kg 👉 One of the most fuel-efficient sedans in India 2. Comfortable for family Soft suspension good for Indian roads Rear seat space is decent (great for 3 passengers) 3. Low maintenance Maruti Suzuki service is cheap & widely available Spare parts easily available anywhere 4. Smooth driving Light steering easy in city traffic Automatic (AMT) option available.
Best budget car. Family car and has good comfort. Perfect mileage, nice speed, good features, best to buy under 10 lac, nice looks, good engine, good speakers, and nice handling.
All doubt cleared. Praised with smooth non vibration engine technology while driving 100+km/hour speed. Looks and features overall best in price segment. Its light clutch, smooth gear transitions, and tight 4.8m turning radius make it exceptionally easy to handle in heavy traffic.
Bought the base variant of this car in 2025 for just under 8 lack rupees on road. The clutch and stick shift is smooth and short so driving it in the city is no problem, the fuel efficiency is amazing I easily get above 15 in the city and above 20 during highway runs. However it feels powerless when your in third gear or going uphill. If you are willing to spend another one lack rs then I recommend going for Honda Amaze since the 1.2L 4 cylinder engine for theirs is absolutely amazing.

Geniune Review of My dzire. I purchased my dzire in 2022. I have received after-sales support from the team in an excellent manner and got mileage of 18 in the city and 22 on the highway. I do like the car design which is very good and has smooth performance. I have driven a 60km car and am very low on maintenance due to which very low service cost at maruti service centers. I have had this car for 2 years and till today I get the same performance as the new one.
Dzire. Absolutely. Here’s a balanced, natural-sounding review of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXi CNG AMT that you can use for a YouTube video, Google review-style post, or social media. 🚗 Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXi CNG AMT — Review The Maruti Suzuki Dzire VXi CNG AMT is a practical compact sedan aimed at buyers who want excellent fuel economy, easy city driving, and low running costs. What I like: ⛽ Excellent CNG efficiency — very economical for daily commuting and high running. ⚙️ AMT gearbox makes driving in traffic much easier, especially in the city. 🪑 Comfortable cabin with good space for a family of four. 🧳 Useful boot space for everyday luggage. 🔧 Maruti's service network is a major advantage, with relatively easy access to service and parts. 💰 CNG can significantly reduce the cost per kilometre compared with a petrol-only car. What could be better: The AMT isn't as smooth or quick as a conventional automatic. You can feel gear changes, particularly when accelerating hard. With CNG, performance is more focused on economy than outright power. Full-load overtaking requires some planning. The VXi variant misses some features available on higher variants. CNG cylinder packaging means the boot practicality isn't quite the same as a conventional petrol version. ⭐ Overall If your priority is fuel economy, comfortable city driving, family practicality and affordable ownership, the Dzire VXi CNG AMT is a sensible choice. The combination of CNG + automatic transmission is particularly attractive for someone who spends a lot of time in urban traffic. My summary: Fuel economy: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ City driving: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Performance: ⭐⭐⭐½ Comfort: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Features: ⭐⭐⭐½ Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐⭐½
Excellent mileage for middle class people under budget. I drove a test drive this dzire, I feel good in the city drive and much comfort when compared with Fronx, in city millage, our sales executive said 19 km/l and highway 23+ but this are depends on how we drive, excellent exterior outlook good boot space and AC coiling is very good, now cons 3 cycles. engine so performance is not much output while driving on the highway, in the AMT variant we feel that time is taken for changing gear shifts. Driver perspective for comfort, The Front Armrest is missing, at least in top top-end model they can consider this.
Great review, Faisal! You hit the nail on the head regarding the 'Taxi' image vs. the 'Premium' features, but the real talking point here is the Z12E + AMT combo. It’s high time we call out the disparity: Internationally, this exact Z12 engine gets a CVT paired with a 12V mild-hybrid assist. That setup isn't just a 'luxury'—it’s a necessary 'patch' for a 3-cylinder engine. The electric assist masks the low-end vibrations (thrum) of the 3-pot motor, and the CVT eliminates that annoying AMT 'head-nod' that has no place in a ₹12 lakh 'premium' sedan in 2026. The mild hybrid CVT setup also extends start stops. Maruti is clearly sitting on this tech, likely 'saving' the CVT/Hybrid for the CAFE III regulatory push in 2027 rather than giving Indian consumers the refinement they deserve right now. If the Dzire truly wants to take on the Honda Amaze (which has championed the CVT for years), it needs to stop gatekeeping the smoother transmission. Better late than never, Maruti, but the Indian private buyer is starting to notice the 'tech gap' between what we get and what the world gets.
Is it the performance of Dzire16kmpl consistently from 20k now completed 80k. I have purchased the Maruti Suzuki Dzire car, 2012 model, with high expectations of mileage. For the first 20k kms, it gave less than 20 kmpl and later started going down and is currently at 16kmpl after covering 80k. I used to cover 60km per day on average. I am not able to digest such poor mileage. Is it the capability of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire?
Fire under 10 lack. It's good for city drive and its new look like a fire most attractive under 10 lack . Very comfortable and more reliable as compared to other comparative cars in this segment . Engine quality is very quiet just like butter.
I have owned 1st Gen Dzire for more than 13 years and I believe it was best among all , according to power ,acceleration and build quality .
Dzire Zxi bahut hi achi hai main isko himachal ke hilly area me chala raha hun 3 cylinder engine is best no problem of power. No 1 sedan in india i Love it
It has been 7 years of driving 3 engine ford freestyle , the engine is a gem , no vibrations at all
I got this car, ZXI+ model in Dec 2024, here is my 1 year review. Pros - -Service cost is low -Driving it is very comfortable for long periods of time, I have done 10 hours non stop with no issues -Sound System is great, and so is the entertainment unit -Boot is phenomenal -Back seats are phenomenal for 2 occupants for as long as one can go -Once it gets going, it legit gets going. I have cruised at 120-125 and felt completely in control -Highway mileage and anywhere you can have consistent speed, mileage is just superb. I have done the 100-120 speed cruise for about 150 kms at 23KMPL - Cabin and the engine seem very silent when all windows closed, although with windows down you hear the engine. Cons- -Back seat for 3 people is fine at best for long periods, although it's for sure better than Baleno or other hatchbacks -City traffic mileage is 14-15 kmpl, which is better than most cars but much less than what was advertised -Overtaking requires downshifting compulsorily -AC could've been a bit more powerful considering our weather -Taxiiii, why Suzuki why?? Overall experience - 8.5/10 Genuinely very happy as this being my first car. If they had not released it as taxi it would be 9.5/10 ngl. And for the price you get it? Unmatched. Amazing amazing car.
Excellent mileage good. Looks so stylish and comfortable, and chilled AC and smooth gearbox and boot space were good and easy to drive in the city and highways too nice good.
Affordable Budget Friendly Family Car. I recently bought a new dzire zxi plus Ags, with a very good buying experience, this car is really Affordable Reliable budget friendly and Proven car, Driving experience is too good like handling , suspension, seating Comfort, yea but the only thing is little jerky feels in the amt version but according to me its ok bcoz in amt we get good fuel efficiency if mileage is your priority , rear leg room is very spacious i only disappoint with two things that is Leather seats and front Armrest .
Very smooth ride & good average. Very smooth ride, performance was amazing looks like a very shiny driving experience & This car is a great buy at this price. The first service is free, and the maintenance costs are very low.
value for money varient, low price enough features , low maintenance, good interior and boot space and mileage.. good car value for money, more spacious than a swift, have good boot space, good reliability, low maintenance, i prefer a petrol variant rather than CNG because CNG variants are more expensive and require more kilometres of running and higher service to maintain the pickup of the car which reduces over time due to carbon deposits. you can run you car many kilometres rather than spending for cng varient. let say 40k is charged for company fitted cng and with 22km mileage you can run your car above 7k km . cng is good for long running, such as taxi. or someone who drives long daily. car is comfortable, with good suspension, good boot space and interior 2nd row . Suzuki cars may be lighter than other car but these car are suitable for indian roads, families' budget, is low maintenance and running cost.
